This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After all the talking and yelling has died down Vex slowly crawls out from underneath the pile of blankets he had been sleeping in and leaves the warmth of his small blanket cave. What is with all the big ones waking up at the crack of that wicked sun. Don't they know it is easier to move around at night keeping to the shadows so no one knows where you are. Then he sighs, Fine whatever, I guess I did sign up for this and hopefully it leads to the information I have been searching for.
He quickly grabs his gear and puts on his black tinted leather armor and laughs again as he slings his longbow which is almost as tall as he is on his back. He then goes to the door an opens it as he swears to himself, the light piercing his eyes as he opens it. After a moment or two he sees the group several blocks down the street and quickly runs after them. He only gets side tracked once as he sees a bakery vendor setting up their stall and quickly snags a hot treat while the person is not looking.
Stealth: 26
Sleight of Hand: 6
He then silently joins the group in the back, happily munching on the treat as if he was always there.
[OOC: Sorry for being a tad late, did not notice the post went live, and fingers crossed the Dice Gods don't tank my above rolls.]
Morgran Diamondhammer says, "I don't know, but if I'm going to have to work with you guys... well, at least that one got up early." as he gestures towards the half orc.
Theron turns to Morgran with a surprised face.
"Looks like you forgot about me, pal" - then he lets out a half smile.
Aridove nods to her companions. "We better stay in groups in the foreign land."
Merad's pointed ears perk up at Morgran's comment and hearing Aridove, he turns back his head and shoots a smile at the team. His face brightly saying he's excited to work with them all.
"You will be working together on this mission, and I am to be your commanding officer out on the field, so I'll be going out with you.
As for my name, I am Valvyr. A 5th Rate, and 18th Rank Knight of the City of Catzar.
For those of you unfamiliar with the hierarchy of the Catzar knights, I'll do a quick briefing.
There are 5 ranks of knights, 5th being the lowest, and 1st being the highest. Every time you go up a rank, the Catzar Church provides you with better equipment, with miraculously near instant shipping across the whole continent. No one knows the secret to how they do it.
Rumor is though, that there is a Rank 0, and that only four have every made it there: Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, & Uriel. It is said that once you reach Rank 0, you ascend to the heavens and become an archangel.
It is my goal to become a Rank 0 Knight, and if the rumors prove false, to become a Rank 1 Knight."
"Yes, Knight Valvyr! Whatever the Holy City requires." Merad replies. "All out war because of the Dynasty's lust for power must be prevented. Have you worked to infiltrate the Houses in the past Knight Valvyr? Where do we start?" Merad asks, scratching his head.
"You know my past, I was a military man" - says Theron proudly - "I don't have a problem with following orders. Although to work together effectively, we have to know each others' strenghts andweaknesses"

"We don't have that figured out yet, because the Funissians are so secretive and untrusting, but we think it would be advised to start by infiltrating their school, the Academy of Dark Martial Arts."
"Oh, great. I'm going to have to work with these slackers. Well, if any of you guys need help out in the wild, I've got your back. I've also got your back if you need muscle. Or if you need to scare someone. Not really with the stealthy part though. Oh, and by the way I'm not great at this whole infiltrating thing. Or, are we just going to kick down their door and burst in? That works too."
"What do we get out of this?" Asks Vex from the back to Valvyr, leaning up against the wall finishing what looks to be a baked treat of some kind. "You city folk get something out of all this but what do we get in return for risking our lives?"
"You get to stop the needless killings of thousands of people, which should be enough. If you aren't motivated by that, you'll also get money, better equipment, and you will become hailed as heroes of the continent."
Also, do you mind keeping your character in the campaign. Your resource sharing might come in handy, so I'd like to 'leech' off of your resources if you don't mind. 😆😅😆... Up to you though.
"The Funiss Dynasty has made moves to explore and inhabit the Olspry Province, most likely leading to the deaths of many innocent plants and animals. You would be saving them from their deaths."
Morgran nods. "Very well. In that case, I suppose I'll do it. So... about this whole infiltrating thing... could I just kick down the door and hunt instead? I'd find that easier."
Valvyr says, quite seriously: "If we just 'bust in there,' we'll die nearly instantly, for they mage martial arts masters, evil magic-users, and even dragons. We must infiltrate them by pretending to be students who wish to apply there. And don't worry about the age, anyone 15 or older is allowed to apply there."

Eyes narrowed, Morgran asks: "Wait, is this a school of magic? If so, won't they immediately sniff us out if we pretend to be a student?"
