Merad follows Valvyr briskly and gazes as the inscriptions as he walks down the hallway. "Knight Valvyr, what can you tell us about these pictures on the wall? Do they tell a story?" Merad asks curiously and scratches his head.

I did have a question about the blessing though. Would Circi's pact with a demonic being have any negative effects on the blessing? Just out of curiosity)
Circi's eyes glitter with giddy curiosity, "Oooooh a secret origin story... how mysterious!" she chirps, as a snarky voice in the back of her mind scoffs, sounds more like a telltale sign of corruption to me.Circi rolls her eyes discretely in response.
That's a great question. Instead of a permanent effect, I think it would be better to have a temporary effect of taking up one of your spell slots. It's like a dampener on your demonic powers temporarily, until it has time to replenish itself.
"Are there any requirements regarding the weapons we can use during the mission? I prefer not to leave my trusted weapon here" - he taps the black glaive on his back - "But of course I'm open to negotiation if the Church can offer me something unique" - he smirks.

While waiting inside the church, Aridove has been able to ritual cast Speak with Animals, talking with three cute but definitely not blind mice.
Merad watches in awe as the little halfling mimes and chirps with the tiny mice. He wonders what they could possibly be talking about. He never considered that mice speak, let alone carry a conversation, did that mean they had poetry, love songs, and tales of heroes and villains? Did they build homes and families? Did they have cities, castles, and armies of their own? Did they wage war against the races of feline and serpent? Did they curse the evils below at the loss of a loved one and rejoice to the heavens above at the birth of a new mouse-child? Merad's mind soared at the implications of this discovery and wonders unimaginable filled his very soul. He continued to gaze awestruck and motionless, without even a blink, as he and the others waited to enter the armory.

"It's not thaaat secret of a story. I know the basics. The Funiss Dynasty controlled half the continent at some point, but there was a house of death called the House of the Holy. They had many gods, and derived their powers from those gods. Eventually, they and their gods got fed up with all of the needless killing, and broke off to form their own kingdom. This inspired the Cedarinian Empire to break off as well, but they were a bunch of greedy merchants and royals, so they soon descended into anarchy. The Funiss Dynasty still kept pushing it though, and they enslaved most of the Dwarven race to work in mines to gather minerals to strengthen the Funiss Dynasty's weaponry. Our missionaries then inspired them to freedom, and we have now become the religious capital of the world, as well as the 'good' guys."
As you near the end of the hallway, you start to hear some clanging. The noise gets louder, and louder, and you can identify what you can only assume to be the clanging of anvils.
As you approach closer, you start to hear unorganized clatters, and shouts of either pain, fear, or both. You can hear a male voice shout "NO! NOT THE SWORDS! DON'T TAKE THE SWORDS TOO!"

OOC: I do that to show that it isn't part of the story, but something technical

"Well then, time to go to the armory everyone. It's this way."
The knight walks away into a long hallway with hieroglyphics on the walls.

Inspect hieroglyphics while following the knight.
Morgran raises an eyebrow at the strange symbols on the wall, and tries to decipher their meaning.

At the mention of armory Vex smiles and rubs his hands together, "Lead on."
You can tell that they are a sequence of events to the Church's formation, although you cannot understand the language written.
