As Breldo lays bleeding, Rick risks jumping on top of the beast to try and use his rope in a clever ploy to protect both Khond and maybe hurt the damned thing in the process. unfortunately, while he avoids any flames while bull-riding the frog, the process of getting the ropes hooked just right turns out to be too difficult to pull off in such a short time.
Asimi meanwhile quickly drags Breldo closer to hopefully be out of the range of that damned gun, before doing her best to stabilize his wounds.
Fueled by adrenaline, she manages to swifly stabilize Breldo, while the giant metal frog... Well.
[Yeah yeah taking fire damage, how did this go again...]
There's a series of clicks as plates on the top of its shell shift, and there's a wash of black fluid over its top which Rick only barely avoids; extinguishing the fire and worse yet, seeming to undo whatever little damage has been done.
But the eyes on its face also flicker heavily, before coming back at a dimmed capacity.
[Warning, fuel critical.] [Come on bud, fun aint over yet!]
At the start of Khond's turn before he can act, the foot slams down on the position he is still standing, as he takes 12 damage. The frog's eyes flicker again for a moment.
(24) Breldo (stabilized) (23) Khond <= (15) Rick <= (12) Asimi (0) Metal frog
Rick takes his time to wrap the rope around it's head blaster this time and stompin' leg so if it lifts it again it will pull off the head...or leg. Whichever. Rick doesn't care.

Rick tries to loop the rope again, but again comes a little bit short. After which he quickly retreats back up on the wall. As Khond doesn't get up after the latest stomp, Asimi curses in elvish as she again tries to help.
Medicine: 19
While the "frog" doesn't seem to have any proper targets, and hence comes to focus on Asimi in front of it, trying to do an improvised headbutt. Attack: 24 Damage: 12
Rick scrambles back down and reaches into another, non-oil filled pouch, and pulls out a handful of ball bearings and shoves them into whatever joints and gaps there are available to shove them until he can't find anymore joints or runs out of ball bearings.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Rick thinks on his feet and, seeing just the tinist split in those plates and joints gets a most devious idea as he finds his bag of ball bearings. The non-greased ones, because had they been kept in one of his greasy pockets they might have increased this thing's performance. Striding back on top of it, he quickly tries to dump a bunch of those little balls down some joints.
With mixed response. He gets a reaction for sure, and some of the legs seem like they might briefly be lodged- But ultimately it doesn't seem to slow it down much.
[Oh I don't like how that feels. I don't like that at all!]
While Asimi continues cursing in elvish, not even trying to attack something that would be resistant to her attempts, the gun on top of its shell turns, aiming for the tabaxi on top of it.
Luckily the Tabaxi saw it coming, or maybe the feeling of all those ball bearings where they don't belong somehow distract its shot as the blast of energy shoots wide and strikes the wall behind him.
And but a moment after does the creature's eyes finally flicker one last time, before dimming entirely- Seeming to almost freeze in place. That by this point likely infuriating voice returns, although no longer from the frog.
"Well look at that, you survived! Mostly. You even managed to hurt it! Been a LONG time since someone managed to pull that off!"
"Please step to the back of the room to receive your rewards."
Rick waits uncertainly as the frog thing powers down before standing and looking over at Breldo and Khond before settling his gaze on Asimi.
"New Elf? Rick did it!"
Rick ignores Breldo and starts dragging Khond towards the back of the room, probably by the horse legs so his head just drags. Mostly because trying to the pull by the human arms makes Rick worry that the human part might tear away from the horse part.
Asimi was about to rudely interrupt Breldo's dreams by dragging her away when Rick calls out Asimi should help with khond. And as she moves there instead, Rick tries to slip for some pockets...
The door starts opening faster than Rick had anticipated. Apparently, standing at the "back" of the room meant moreso that he had to get off the frog, everyone distant enough for the wall to start lowering back in place, and for the doors to be unlocked and open... But that's plenty of time for him to quickly sneak into his pouch, and...
Watch as Asimi turns to him in that exact moment.
"...What the hell are you doing?!"
The mask laughs, and out of its mouth rolls another obsidian disk, and a mace.
This disk seems to have "blood" written on it, after translation by Silvia. It joins "flesh" and "breath".
Asimi blinks a few times, glances down, and then has her usually steely expression replaced with a blush before averting her gaze, as if caught in the middle of a terrible faux pas. How absolutely rude of her to even think the tabaxi would try to steal! This is probably considered very speciesist on her part as she mumbled a quick apology.
