Rick says as he looks around the room from something he can drag over and put the porridge on so it isn't on Pallen's lap then sets the porridge on whatever it was for him. Once that's done Rick'll gently wedge the spoon into Pallen's hand before sitting on his haunches and watching how it goes.
"Boss Pallen eats then Pallen and Pallen's team head out to get Breldo?"
Sylvera gets up bright and early, and is decidedly irritated when the others seem to be taking their sweet time. She ate early, and likely assumes that everyone else should have done before her. "Hurry up, all of you. Unless you want your friend to stay at that prison. We need to get a move on."She taps her foot impatiently.
"Y-yes mam!" Nuria replies quickly despite the fact that she has already eaten...even if her breakfast was just a loaf of bread and cheese. She's clearly antsy, wanting to hurry up and get Breldo out of what would have been an absolute nightmare if for her if their places were swapped.
Oren makes his way downstairs for a quick and filling bit of breads for breakfast, then he quietly nods to the others, finally saying, "When are we going to collect Breldo and head out of this town?"
Pallen's progress is... Not easy. Slick catches the realization in the elf's eyes at seeing that he no longer controls his wrist, making the whole process he had set up suddenly obsolete. He adapts quickly however, although it comes in the form of excessive movement of his arm to do what he could previously do with just some twisting of his wrist, and not nearly as efficient. There's also the worry that the spoon might just slip out. Not that Pallen makes it seem nearly as bad.
"I'll... Be fine. If you could help me get a cloth to wash up I'll manage. For now, yes- Go collect Breldo, and then I suppose we'll be leaving after."
---
In the dining hall itself, everyone else quickly manages to eat, and nothing stops them from going to head out back to the guard house right after.
---
Breldo of course wakes up in his cell too, none worse for wear despite the fact this has likely been the worst night of sleep in a long time. Most of his cellmates seem to be sleeping still, more having felt asleep from exhaustion rather than desiring to. The drunk and the brute snoring loudly. The merchant seems to be awake as well, but nervous, silent, and clearly hasn't slept a wink.
Before leaving the inn and after seeing that the health state of Pallen has gotten worse, "We should all remember we have a job to do, quickly, for Pallen, and we can't get tied up in this town any longer. So we need to just pick up Breldo and stay out of any argument and just get out of town. We can always come back afterwards....if we feel that is a good point of action to take another day."
Rick watches silently, ear twitching. He rises and collects Pallen a couple of towels and sets them near to hand for the elf.
He will gently place a hand on Pallen's shoulder before heading down to the others,
"Rick will make sure Boss Pallen is on the road fast."
Rick will then head to the main area and speak quietly with Khond and Oren specifically, as they are his nearest compatriots (and informing Oren's comments on hurrying up later),
"Boss Pallen is getting stiffer. Rick doesn't think there is much time left. Maybe Bird Elf, Oren and Urea can go get Breldo while Khond and Rick get the wagon ready."
Breldo wakes with a groan, stretching out his limbs and getting a resounding crack from his knee and neck. Not a young campaigner any more, and his body is letting him know. Not that he'd complain about camping in a tent or under the stars, but he'd been looking forward to a couple consecutive nights in a real bed, and a cramped cell with his fellow inmates was a far cry from the comforts of an inn.

Khond wakes somewhat late, coming into the tavern and collecting some bread for breakfast. "We're leaving quickly, hm? Well, no harm in that, when nothing's holding us here. We should probably bring along some food for Beldo. I very much doubt he will have had much in the way of care."

"That's a good idea Khond. " With a playful smirk he adds, though, "Didn't he tell a long winded story on the way here though explaining on how travelling in the morning without a full belly makes you travel faster because you want to get to the next place to eat?"
Sylvera lets out a huff, then says, "While you lot are taking your time, I'll go get our wayward bodyguard out of prison."She starts making her way towards the door, not bothering to wait for anyone, "We will head directly to the gate after we are finished."
She doesn't object if someone comes with her, but also doesn't really acknowledge them either. If no one comes with her, then she'll just expect them to be waiting for them at the gate they intend to leave the city through.
She heads to the guard house and pushes the doors open just like last time, however, unlike last time she's wearing a smile instead of a scowl.
"I'll go with her." Oren states to the others. And he will follow Sylvera out. He doesn't push trying to talk to her at this point, and will just follow along and smile and nod when they make eye contact.
Slick leaves Pallen to finish his breakfast in peace, for now relaying the news that his state is slowly decreasing. It's enough for Sylvera to decide that it's taking long enough, and soon sets off, Oren at least joining her. Slick and Khond work on getting the cart ready- They could probably depart quite swiftly, assuming that's what they want to focus on.
Sylvera and Oren meanwhile take the short trip to the guard house once again, door swinging open once more. This time around, it seems like a guard was waiting- For them, or anyone, though they seem to give a nod of recognition to them as they enter.
"Right, you're here for the troublemaker? I'll go get him up. Captain is here too if you still want to talk to him."
Oren looks over at Sylvera quickly with a bit of a panicked look when the guard asks if they want to speak to the captain again right now. Eyes wide he gives a quick head shake of 'no' hoping that she might agree with that sentiment and just pick up Breldo and go for now, and deal with the problem maybe in the future instead.
Sylvera doesn't give any hint about seeing Oren's head shake, instead keeping a small smile on her face as she says, "Yes, please fetch him." She seems to consider for a moment before saying, "Oh... I would have liked to see the captain, as I would very much like to show my gratitude... however it is urgent. We must be on our way as quickly as possible." She lets a sad expression wash over her face as she sighs, "I was not exaggerating about my need for haste but... well, I assume he asked you to wait here for me. So he must be busy. It wouldn't be right of me to disturb him, especially after what kindness he has shown me." Her eyes flick towards Oren, giving him a sharp look as if trying to convey something.
If there was time for her to speak with the captain while the guard went to fetch Breldo, she would, even if she doesn't particularly want to. However, she does want to keep up appearances, while also hurrying things along.
Pallen, in regards to everyone else, takes much longer to get ready. But, at least for the most part, seems to manage to do just that, eventually asking for an escort to help hold him steady while beginning to exit. Loaded up on the cart, he can't help but give an appreciative nod.
"Indeed he is. You had the entire crew captivated there last night Khond."
---
At the guard house meanwhile, the question to whether they want to see the captain is met with very mixed responses. One clearly doesn't want to risk anything, while Sylvera at least wants to keep up the pretenses. The guard seems a bit hesitant, clearly not sure how to deal with such an ambiguous answer to a "yes" or "no" question.
"Well, no, he did come here just so he could... I guess bid you a goodbye?" the guard says, not even seeming completely certain of what exactly is going on. "He's usually not around this early, it's just that he's upstairs in his office. Doing paperwork or something, I guess. I'll... Someone is grabbing your servant, and I'll just give a heads up you're here but have to leave swiftly, okay?" the guard says, already stepping upward to the second floor.
Unfortunately for all of them, the captain does come down before Breldo is retrieved from his cell. The man keeps his customary smile, but seems to have some bags under his eyes.
"Ah, there you are, as promised. Well, I won't keep you. Though I am curious what has you in such a hurry? I thought you weren't heading to Mhurgot?"
---
Breldo hears loud footsteps coming down the stairs leading to their little abode. The door toward their cramped cell soon opens, a guard gesturing toward Breldo, with his other hand lingering over his mace.
"Alright, we got told you're free to go. Everyone else keep seated, come out nice and calm."
There's a brief moment of tension, mostly in the form of Tyrion glaring daggers, a rat backed into the corner acting up- Or that is what it might seem like, at the very least. But with that hand over the mace, no action is taken, and soon the bars are once again shut. Breldo gets ushered to lead the way, back up and toward freedom.
