The compass guides the group to the edge of the glade of trees, until they enter the forest. The group treks through the vibrant, salmon colored foliage, the dense canopy above them filtering the sunlight into a soft, warm glow. Despite the dense underbrush and twisting, winding path, the compass in Enethia’s hands kept them moving forward with confidence.
Eventually, the small section of the woods comes to an end, bringing them close to the base of a massive mountain. A large, flat plateau sits infront of them, a set of reflective pools lining the are. Each pool shimmered with a rainbow of colors, the light bouncing off the water and dancing across the trees surrounding them. Crystals of all sizes dotted the banks of the pools, each one reflecting the light in its own unique way. The largest one sits closest to the base of the mountain, at least the size of a small lake.
"A LAKE!" Naomi cries. "Perfect! If we can somehow shape the water it might be a sufficient lens!"
