Korlan knows the way to Lord Atterley's mansion. Upon arrival, you find the large iron gates wide open and several carriages parked all around the circular gravel drive out front with waiting footmen gathered near the gatehouse on the right, sharing flasks and tossing dice.
"There appears to be some sort of gathering. Didn't we hear something about a funeral or something? I could disguise myself as a guest, and then let you guys in some other way."

"I have to agree with Korlan for once," Quill says, smiling at the halfling to show he means no ill will.
"Because I'm not much for sneaking around. And having two different groups may be key in quickly locating Dawnlord Wintermoon."
Quill closes his eyes, praying softly to Usoara, then opens them.
"Alright,"he says, voice clanging oddly for a second before going back to its normal tone.
"Ability to deceive is not what I usually want, but right now it is certain to be useful. It won't last long, though, so we'd best hurry," he says, nodding to Demoiselle.
"So, we're bringing a message of "utmost importance" that must be delivered to Lord Atterley, right?"
Quill used Knowledge Domain's Channel Divinity to gain proficiency in Deception checks for the next 10 minutes.
”It’s decided then. Let’s head out and free Dawnlord Wintermoon.” I will go with Esvaris aroundto the back of the mansion looking for a place to sneak in without notice.
Korlan and Esvaris: To the left of the house there seems to be a path for servants and delivery people which leads to the kitchens. To the right of the house there are well manicured gardens and, up a flight of stairs, a veranda and double glass paned garden doors.
Demoiselle nodded, "In that case I will attempt to procure the uniform of a maid and enter from the servant's entrance. Quill will you come with me or go with the others?"
Esvaris and Korlan: As you enter the garden area, there are a couple of gardeners with black ribbons tied around their arms working in the gardens, but they don't notice you at all. Up the stairs, you find the doors unlocked. Through the glass panes you can see a large room with three small cloth covered tables with four chairs each around them, a wooden upright piano against the wall to the left, and two high backed couches facing each other in front of a fireplace in the right wall. There are two doors on the south wall across from the garden doors, one in each corner to the left and right. There are two elderly gentleman standing, talking in low voices, and sipping tea by the fireplace and three women, two of them matronly looking and one about twenty years old, sitting on the couches and talking quietly, heads bent together. Everyone is wearing black clothing. No one seems aware of your presence yet.
Demoiselle: The servant's entrance is a thick wooden door up a few stairs with a square window in the top half of the door. Within you can see a long hallway that ends in a T-shaped split. Along the left wall are two open doorways and along the right are two closed doors. You see a maid with a black ribbon around her left arm come out of the passage to the right at the end of the hallway carrying a pair of shiny black boots. She continues across and disappears through the passage to the left.
Demoiselle (and possibly Quill): You walk quietly down the hall, noticing the noise of a lot of activity and good food smells coming from the doors to your left. On your right, the two doors have signs that read "Butler" and "Housekeeper". The maid came from the passage at the end of the hall. When you reach the T shaped junction you see stairs going up to your left. They are sturdy, but obviously servant stairs. To your right is the hallway she came from. You see a door on the left with a small sign beside it that reads "Boot room" and a door further down on the right side of the hall with a sign that reads "Livery". The hall ends just past that door.
Esvaris: As you enter the room, the well dressed occupants glance at you with a slight frown upon noticing that you aren't wearing black, but say nothing due to your obviously high status (judging by your fine clothing).
Korlan: Your entrance, however, merits barely a glance as they see your clerical clothing and symbols, and then deem you beneath their concern. One of the older women harumphs softly and raises a judgemental eyebrow as you scoop a small pastry cake off a silver serving platter.
"Ah," Demoiselle murmured, "I believe 'livery' is the room we're looking for." She bustled to that room trying to look as though she was meant to be there.
Demoiselle frowned. "We're going to the same place, lets us not split the party. Once we are in we can split between Search and Rescue."

Esvaris
I will cast disguise self to appear as a well-to-do nobleman. Then I will attempt to sneak through the garden and up onto the veranda.
Stealth check: 15
I will also use Blessing of the Trickster on Korlan so he has advantage on stealth checks.

Quill goes with Demoiselle, though he's looking for a servant's uniform, not that of a maid!
And that's all I have to say about that.
(.... anybody? Bueller?)
(lol whoops, the thread slipped so far back I didn't see it.)
Demoiselle enters the door that the maid first came from.
Esvaris
I confidently stride into the room.

Esvaris and Korlan: (Make a perception check)
Perception: 7
hopefully the perception was for the cake I swiped and how it was made of the finest ingredients. If so, I go get another.
