"im a ventriloquist" ilifir lies with complete confidence, the bell at his side ringing in time to his regular taps "and a mind reader, plucked the sound from your mind" valrieth's voice echoes from behind the goblin as ilifir goes silent "and placed it in my pack" he resumes speaking in his own voice, but with a hint of malice "may i have yours?"

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

When Valrieth hears her voice speaking from behind the goblin, she gasps and puts a hand over her mouth. She cocks her head to the side and looks at Ilifir in surprise.
(OOC: Val's reaction here is meant to be less "fear and surprise" and more like the "how did he do that" of an audience member who gasps at a particularly good trick in a magic show.)
Kro'ah seems cowed by Ilifir's threat, and such a feat is not unusual in the fey wilds. He stands down and moves his hand away from his axe. "Please don't do that. I am just a harmless goblin, now need to worry about my dinner." He moves slowly to his camp and begins packing.
"oh dont worry about all that" ilifir says cheerfully "we just came to look for directions! so if you could point us the way to Loomlurch i would be happy to go on my way!"
he turns back to the group "do any of the rest of you have anything else that needs doing before we take our leave?"

Valrieth feels sorry for Kro'ah even though he was going to eat the jolly little mushroom. "Yes! Please don't go on our account!," she says. "I feel bad that you lost your dinner. Maybe we could trade? As my friend said, we are headed toward Loomlurch, but we don't know much about it. If you could share what you know about Loomlurch, its owner, and the Goblin Market, we could offer you a truffle for your dinner!"
Kro'ah takes the offered truffle cautiously and shares some information about Loomlurch.
Directions to Loomlurch
The market sells all kinds of candy and is supervised by a goblin with a toffee apple head.
Granny Nightshade puts children to work in her toy shop. The hag has a large key protruding from her back, almost like she’s a big wind-up toy herself.
Lerak listen carefully. The information was important, although quite strange... " A toffee apple head ?"he thought to himself. "this place is one of a kind" He replies to the goblin once he hears about the key. " This is the first time I heard about such a thing. What happen if you turn the key in her back ? Any rumours about it ?"he continues while giving away a second truffle.
While Lerak talks to the goblin, Valrieth takes out her notebook, pen, and ink like some sort of Feywild journalist and records the information in her page about Thither and Loomlurch. She's also curious about the key in Granny Nightshade's back. She wonders whether that be some sort of weakness that they could exploit.
If the goblin doesn't have any more details to offer, Val packs away her notebook and says, "Thank you, Kro'ah! We should be going if we want to reach the Goblin Market before dark. Enjoy your dinner!" Then she tries to shuffle the rest of the group away from the campsite before Amanita reveals itself.
Kro'ah does not take the second truffle "I don't know. I have not heard of any rumors as I don't think anyone else has turned that wind up key besides Granny Nightshade. Thanks for the food, but that is all I know."

Enjoy your dinner!" Then she tries to shuffle the rest of the group away from the campsite before Amanita reveals itself.
As above, if none of her companions have any other questions for the goblin, Valrieth hurries then all away. She's just glad that they got some information and rescued Amanita at the cost of just one of Jingle Jangle's truffles.
Once they've gone another mile or so from the campsite, Val suggests that they let Amanita out of Ilifir's backpack. She's not sure whether they should just release the mushroom here in the woods. The happy little mushroom seems too naive to survive on its own, but it also seems likely to give them away if they take it with them to Loomlurch. Either that, or it'll be eaten by another goblin in the market or by the hag herself!
As they walk, Val asks Will, "Have you seem talking mushrooms like Amanita before? Where do they normally live, I wonder?"
Will looks to Val and says "They tend to live near the fairy rings as they a drawn to them or just like living near them. If you can find one you can leave Amanita there"
The party can search for fairy ring or head straight to Loomlurch.
It may take some time to locate another fairy ring, so it is up you to decide.
To Valrieth, that seems like too much of a detour. She suggests letting Amanita out of Ilifir's backpack and asking what the little mushroom wants to do.
Amanita is small enough for one of them to carry them all the way to Loomlurch. Or, if Amanita prefers, they could set the mushroom down and let Amanita wander off to find a fairy ring on their own.
Lerak agrees « I am happy to keep the small mushroom with us till he wants to split route. What do you say Amanita ? Do you want to stick with us a bit ? I’ll promise we won’t butter you ! » « I think we are short on time so let’s go save the children. » he adds
Once out of the pack Amanita gives all of you that glassy eyed stare showing it is thinking really hard. "You can let me off here. I am sure I can find a new friend or home. I am resourceful that way"
After bidding farewell to Amanita the party continues onward towards Loomlurch making haste as they have a deadline.
By days end they reach Loomlurch.
The forest is at its darkest here. Up ahead, a colossal dead oak lies on its side. Three living trees grow naturally out of its fallen remains. Their shapes resemble towers, with candlelit windows twinkling in the gloom and wooden balconies encircling gnarled branches. On one side of the fallen tree, firelight spills from a pair of quaint storefront windows, illuminating a clearing filled with merchant stalls.
