Randaler looks at the basket Freda has. "You made that? It looks great."he says. "How many of those do you make for a season?"
He will continue to chat with Freda for a little while, order food, have a few drinks. Eventually he'll make his way to his room for the night. "H...hopefully, I'll see you yo around town."he blushes as he says goodnight.
I throw open my cloak and doves fly out. ”After taking out a goblin horde along the trail to town, we found some of your supplies. They’re currently in a safe place. The crates are heavy so it’s got to be expensive, whatever’s inside.”
Linene looks to Chad, unimpressed. "Your flourishes don't mean much." She tells him flatly after the doves disappear. "I ain't some country bumpkin. However, you mentioned procuring some of our wares. I'd heard that some shipments were being waylaid but didn't know what from. Goblins, eh? Please, tell me more."
Stonehill Inn
Randaler has a little chat with Freda, ordering a bit of food. There's some stew that'll be available in a while, but they can do some bread and cheese for now (4 cp). Freda tells Randaler that she's been in Phandalin all her life, and picked up a couple of skills from her parents. She makes baskets for the harvest, but she's also been getting hastle. "The Redbrands have been a nuisance to everyone in town." She tells Randaler. "They mess with all the businesses. Well, all but one." Randaler can feel her animosity for the Redbrands, though she keeps her ladylike composure. "They don't mess with Plandalin's Miner Exchange. I reckon Halia Thornton is too much hassle for them, she can be pretty scary when she needs to be."
“If you’re not impressed by my magic, you won’t be impressed with my tale.” I say deflated. “How about you tell me something. What am I going to get for getting these crates back to you? I’m assuming whom ever you I trusted these good with aren’t around to get paid.”
Realgâr downs his ale, purchases a room for the evening, and says to anyone of his companions remaining in the bar. "Well, Randaler and I found out that there may be some information to be had at the Lionshield Coster. I'm makin' my way there."
He leaves the tavern (with any companions that choose to follow) and makes his way through town to the Lionshield Coster to follow up with them as Elmar suggested.

Randaler says to Freda, "The Redbrands, huh? M...maybe we can look into that... Once we finish our current business." He gives her a quick smile and blushes again before heading to his room for the night.
"You'd do that?" Freda says to Randaler as he tells her that he might look into stopping the Redbrands. "That's mighty kind of you, stranger. I'm sure you'd bring happiness to the whole town if you did." Once Randaler gets up, he realises he hasn't secured his room for the night yet. Perhaps he should join Kres, who is talking with Tolben, the owner of the establishment.
Realgâr negotiates a room for the evening, "If you're wanting a room for the night, it's five silver." Tolben tells him. "There's also food in the evening, which'll be another three."
Lionshield Coster
"Well, if what you say is true, then there will be payment in it for a successful delivery." Linene replies. "And the pay will be dependant on the quality and quantity of missing stock that you've managed to bring." She walks around from her post to the front door, taking a large iron key to lock up. "Lead the way, oh practitioner of the highest magic."
I take her to Barthens where the goods are. On the way, I’ll ask her what type of business she is in and who was responsible for the cargo. “Anyways, these goblins ambushed us on the trail here. My group chased them down to their hideout where they were quickly taken care of. Your loot was inside the cave.”
Randaler bids farewell again to Freda, and joins Realgar. "I agree, we should get the rest of the cargo taken care of."So he tags along through town to the Lionshield Coster.
Along the way he tells Realgar about what he discussed with Freda. "Once we finish up freeing Gundren, maybe we should head back here. Sounds like there is a rough group in town called the Redbrands. They are causing trouble for the locals."
Realgâr and Randaler head out from the inn and into the main square. As they are headed off, they see Chad coming across from the opposite direction, a human woman in tow.

"Whenever they feel like it." Tolben tells Kres. "They seem to have free reign at the moment, going unchecked."
Realgâr says to Randaler, "The Redbrands you say? Never heard of 'em. But, if there is a group harassin' the locals as you say, then we should do somethin' about it. I need to test out my new Morningstar anyway!"He says with a boisterous laugh. He continues in a more serious tone, "Are you sure she was bein' truthful about it? Don't need us setup to be robbed if she works for 'em."
Once we see Chad and the woman following, he says, "Oh there you are Chad. Didn't see you in the bar. Where are you headed off to and who is this?

We were just headed there since we had supplies to deliver that had your emblem on it. Some fine looking ore and whatnot. Is that where you were headed—to fetch them?"

Randaler give a slight nod of greeting to Linene. "Nearly died clearing out those goblins. Hope this ore was worth it." he grumbles in her general direction.
Linene nods. "Yes, and I suppose if you two were there as well we should go check on the wares. There may be a reward in it for you yet." She says. (Assuming the four of you would like to head over together.)
