Remember that part about us surviving despite our best attempts otherwise? Yes they saved us from all dying and are traveling with us for a while. We are trying to track down those missing children from town.

Well I’ll have to leave that to my allies to relay some of the story, first time I was fighting some creepers and skulls down in Jezerene and I was overwhelmed and knocked unconscious. I awoke to strange elves fighting the enemies with us and I lept up to move away and help from afar. A short time later we were attacked by some spiders and as I moved into the room to attack them I was ambushed by a third spider and next thing I know I awake to my allies cutting me out of a spider webbing cocoon and I was groggy and recovering from spider poison. That was when we decided to come back to town to regroup. This stone was found on a dead skulk we cut out of another cocoon in the spider room.

(At this point anyone can jump in and give more details. The more complete story the better. If you manage to get on her good side [might take several encounters with her] you will become one of her privileged clients).
“Hey, speak for yourself! They didn’t save us ALL from dying,” Tyris exclaims. “I happened to be doing just fine, and was in the process of advancing in a different direction when I ran into these two!”
He turns to Skie. “These three,” He indicates Shadow, Oreus and Laladak, “charged headlong into a room full of Skulks and other enemies. I was on my way to find reinforcements when I ran into the two ‘rogues’ as you called them. They helped Alben and I get the others out of trouble after they were all knocked unconscious and half-dead.”

"I like a good story as much as the next man, but most people in this town are just interested in how we can help or what we are buying or selling, we are not adverse to telling you everything, is business that slow right now?" Alben is trying to discern her motive for inquiry as she almost immediately starting asking about our story. Insight:13
"I like a good story as much as the next man, but most people in this town are just interested in how we can help or what we are buying or selling, we are not adverse to telling you everything, is business that slow right now?" Alben is trying to discern her motive for inquiry as she almost immediately starting asking about our story. Insight:22
Alben senses that while she is no longer sn adventurer herself, she longs for the adrenaline that comes with adventuring snd live vicariously through Adventurer stories.
Alben smiles, letting the preformer in him rise up "While the story is not yet long, it has been a doozy." Alben leans slightly over the counter and uses several small illusions via Prestidigitation to show what happened. "Shadow and I visited the locksmith trying to find some clues to the missing children from the orphanage. Unfortunately we were ambushed and knocked out. When we woke up, we were tied up in Jezerene with 2 guards. We barely managed to slip our bonds, attacking our captors, wounding one and scaring the other one off. We were both badly wounded and managed to escape and get back to our companions. We geared up and set off to take down the skulks and other nasties in that abandoned city." Alben manipulates the illusions to show the party heading down into the darkness, looking quite a bit more heroic and badass then we actually did. "We ran into several groups of skulks in the tunnels, fighting through the fiends, taking our share of wounds and dishing out our own. We have narrowly avoided traps." Alben shows the first trap we ran into, and Alben himself falling in and having the trap close on him, while clinging to the rope. "I must admit, the others are quite a bit better at traps than I am." Alben gives her a sly smile. "We continued on and found an illusion of a king and a throne room which was heavily magically trapped." Alben shows the king on his thrown and the bas relief. "After several more skulks, we ran into a larger room with 2 levels and we were ambushed by a grell." Alben shows the fight with the grell, attacking from its nest. "And that was only about the first half of it so far.
"But alas, we need to get our business done there and get back down there and find out what happened to the children. We can continue this story when we get back." Alben smiles at Skie.
"Wow your elf, that was a most stunning performance, and to end it so abruptly, please come back and finish it. You don't even need to make a transaction, just come by and maybe I tell you how it was done in my day. (Laladak and Oreus if you want to add something feel free and I will assume you spoke sometime during the other stories, but I have a feeling that Alben has been elected to by the group's storyteller.) "Now on to business, I Only deal in magic items and not in alchemical terms, I suggest you try Weer's Elixirs if you want to sell the Thunder Stone. As for the Ioun Stone of Sustenance, yes that does sound interesting. May I see it?." Alben hands her the stone. She pulls out a pair of spectacles and examines the stone, and then she cast a couple of spell. "Very nice piece indeed, you said it was found on a corpse cocooned by spiders?" She asks Shadow. Shadow answers in the affirmative. After a couple more minutes of muttering to herself and checking through a ledger of some sort, she says "I believe I can offer you 2,000gp. Is that acceptable?"
Oreus intervened here and there in the conversation but until a certain degree, he has no confidence with the woman, he actually doesn’t like his companions to tell all these details but let them be for the moment: what if she is a blabber mouth?
Finally, since she is so willing to chat, he asks:
”and what about you? Since you are an expert of magic and we told you our story, what can you make of this in your opinion?”
(Since the king spoke those words, I will have Oreus recite them instead of showing her a parchment.)
Skie listens to the dark rhythm and then she says "Well he talks about Jzadirune. I have heard the gnomish greybeards talk about "Lost Jzadirune", but since I am a newcomer, I am not considered CLAN." Under her breath you can her her say "Even after 17 years they still don't Invite me to the Gnome Day Party". I assume that if you have explored the ruins, that you know more about it than I do. Every few years I think about trying to find the city myself, but 8n reality my adventuring days are over".

"How about this, we sell you the Ioun stone for 2200gp, and we buy the want of cure light wounds as well. Since we happen to be clearing out Jezerene, which i believe the gnomish greybeards will be extatic about, we can see about doing what we can to give the city back to the gnomes. In doing so we will most likely be in good favor with them, and I can put in a good word about you. You are, after all crucial to the reclaiming of the city. It is a bit of a gamble, worst case you had one bad business deal, with much more to gain. What say you?" persuasion: 11

"I'm sorry, but you don't qualify for my Adventurers Discount yet. While you make so good points, I can't been seen as bending a establish pattern".
"Oh, so you have an established discount method. How would one get a discount?"
