(*ooc: just an idea but since everyone didn't pick a specific watch we could go by the order in which they posted their perception rolls... so Garmuk on 1st, Violet on 2nd, Gromedark on 3rd, and Namor on 4th. Only need 4 watches so Xis can sleep in or double up with Namor?*)

Violet cries out in surprise as one of her eyes catches sight of the drake... and she reacts without thinking.
With her action, she casts Mind Sliver on the Drake (INT Save, DC 15. On failure, the drake takes 5 Psychic damage and must subtract 1d4 from its next saving throw... and it's definitely about to make another saving throw).
Almost simultaneously, she unleashes a Quickened Dissonant Whispers with her Bonus Action (WIS Save, DC 15. On a failure, the drake takes 9 Psychic damage and must run as far away from Violet as possible. On a success, it takes half damage and doesn't have to run).
With her movement, Violet will hide behind Gromedark (assuming he's on his feet at this point).

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

Yep just the one we will say for the sake of this encounter the raptor speed is 40 ft he’s now can’t attack so is the the raptors turn rage full he will charge at Xis ad swop at him with his claws
Garmuk will wake up from all the noise. Sitting up (if he is close enough, if not he will use half his movement to stand then the other hald to get as close as he can) he will channel divinity: Nature's wrath on the raptor.
Channel Divinity: Nature's Wrath
Channel Divinity: As an action, you can cause spectral vines to spring up and reach
for a creature within 10 ft. of you that you can see. The creature must succeed on a STR or DEX saving throw (its choice, DC 14) or be restrained. It can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, freeing itself (the vines disappear) on success.
Garmuk's hands glow a pale green as he invokes the name of Silvanus. He then slams his fists into the ground the vines reaching up as he does to grab the raptor.

Namor raced toward the raptor, drawing his glaive as he did. Using his momentum to assist, he planted his feet and thrust toward the creature to slash at its neck, while speaking an eldritch word of power to invoke his spell; the sailor then swung his weapon around and struck the target with the backside.
MOVE: Close to within 5 feet of the raptor ACTION: Cast Booming Blade targeting the raptor * Glaive Slash - Attack: 19, Magical Slashing Damage: 10 (plus 3 if crit, plus 1 thunder damage if it hits & raptor moves) BONUS: Use Polearm Master to strike with backside of glaive * Glaive Backswing - Attack: 12, Magical Bludgeoning Damage: 7 (plus 3 if crit)
After the Gar tries to bind the creature down with the strength of his oath the raptor in a quite a bit on strength breaks the hold and it seems out of breath before the rest of the party murders it
you still have time to make the rest of the long rest

Garmuk a veteran of many an ambush is already back asleep.
Namor grumbled a bit.... he'd been hoping for a bigger fight, but didn't actually voice his desire. Instead, he sullenly returned back to sleep.
