"Lam!!", Saoirse screams when she sees that the creature has grappled her friend. She was about to grab the crossbow, but the genasi stops mid movement and decides to attack her melee weapons instead. It may not be the safest of moves, considering the creature has other tentacles it could use to grapple her too, but she thinks that trying to hurt the Froghemoth the most is imperative so it goes down quicker.
Movement: 10 feet to reach the border of the lake, and another 10 feet into the water to be within melee range of the froghemoth. If I understood correctly, this is a range in which I can attack without disadvantage because I'm still not swimming, right?
Lam may have succeeded at grabbing the creature’s attention, but he failed to keep it from slamming into the roof, making a terrible noise and threatening to break the glass. Which means his friends are in danger. And he is about to get eaten. Lights dance around in Lam’s wild eyes and he begins to glow with rage. He flails around in the creature’s grip, but instead of focusing on freeing himself, he focuses on getting a good swing with his greataxe as the light begins to concentrate in his chest.
Bonus action: Go into a rage! The effect is as follows: A bolt of light shoots from your chest. Another creature of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of you must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 1d6 radiant damage and be blinded until the start of your next turn. Until your rage ends, you can use this effect again on each of your turns as a bonus action.
Action: Reckless attack with the greataxe. 10 to hit, 18 damage.

The void is washed away in brilliant light, and Sha-Gravis feels the night goddess' true presense more powerfully than ever. "REBIRTH" is the last word from the shadow, though it is not said with anger, but with an emotion that feels like hope. Sha-Gravis falls onto the floor of the lounge, and his mind falls back into the material plane, but not before he hears his goddess' true voice once again. "You have done well. Do not stop now." The sunlight does not follow him to the material plane, but the aura of twilight appeared in the material as surely as in the void.
In this moment, the full moon rises over the eastern mountains, happening to appear perfectly in a gap between trees. Sha and Hemlock can not see it just yet, as they are in the moonshadow of the hut, but they can feel its light. Everyone recieves 23 healing as the night goddess smiles upon you, and you feel her energy coursing through you. The divine energy infuses you with power and purpose, and you feel greater powers unlocking within you. LEVEL UP TO LEVEL 5!!
Hemlock sees, in the moment before Sha's mind returns to the material plane, a swirl of powerful conuration and enchantment magic, and even sees what looks like a struggle between light and dark. When the link is broken, and the moon rises, he feels the familiar evocation magic of a healing spell, but far more powerful than he has ever seen or felt before, radiating momentarily from the moon. He can also see the enchantment take hold of himself, Sha, and Lam and Saoirse, who are above him through the glass. His constellation shines in perfect harmony with the moonlight, from out the shadow of the hut.
Saoirse and Lam feel the light and the magic touch them, and Saoirse's blades both cut into the monster, searing it with burning light. It roars, but the huge beast is far from going down, and now is enraged. Lam's desperate flailing with his greataxe is doing nothing to free him from the Froghemoth's grasp, but the burst of light from his chest takes it by surprise, and its eyes all point towards him, unfocused and confused. It does the only think it can think to do: it tries to eat him. The tentacle lifts him, forcing him towards its maw. The needle-like teeth attempt to grab him and force him into its stomache. 25 to hit, 15 piercing; on hit you are swallowed:
A swallowed creature is blinded and restrained, has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the froghemoth, and takes 10 (3d6) acid damage at the start of each of the froghemoth’s turns.
The froghemoth’s gullet can hold up to two creatures at a time. If the froghemoth takes 15 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the froghemoth must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate all swallowed creatures, each of which falls prone in a space within 10 feet of the froghemoth. If the froghemoth dies, any swallowed creature is no longer restrained by it and can escape from the corpse using 10 feet of movement, exiting prone.
Hit or miss, the froghemoth also swings one of its three other tentacles to bash and grab Saoirse.9 to hit, 21 bludgeoning, grappled on a hit.
Even as Hemlock himself glows with starlight he marvels at the display of power in front of him, even as he feels a wave of relief as Sha-Gravis drops to the ground healed. He had been about to heal the tabaxi himself, but with that task achieved by an obviously higher power, he turns his attention to Saoirse and Lam.
"Good to have you back, Sha. Now we must help Saoirse and Lam, before this place becomes one with the lake", he says pointing at the hulking monstrosity that is cracking the glass.
He rushes outside to see Saoirse grappled in a tentacle, but no sign of Lam. He is wise enough to make a pretty good assumption as to where the bugbear is.
Fear and anger rush through, and it does, storm clouds over the head of the Froghemoth. He reaches out towards the monster and an arc of lightning is ejected from the cloud, striking at its back, away from where it has Saoirse grasped. He actually looks a little surprised as it happens, not really realising for a moment that he had summoned the storm himself.
"Hold on, Sha and I are here now. Is Lam..inside it?", he calls out, looking for all the world like a beacon of hope.

Saoirse hasn't been able to see what has happened under the lake, but she has definitely felt its results. She feels rejuvenated, blessed, and energized in a way she has never felt before. Shamust have definitely triumphed, and his goddess seems to have smiled upon them all! Unfortunately, she can't dwell on this for long, as she sees the Froghemoth swallow Lamentirely and a giant tentacle grapples her soon after. Despite the big chance that the creature will swallow her too, she decides to keep attacking instead of trying to dodge her way out of the monstrosity's mouth. "GIVE..." , she yells as strikes with the rapier, " ... OUR BUGBEAR ...", she manages to strike again (since when can she attack twice in a row with the same hand?),"... BACK!!!", she finishes, this time piercing the tentacle with Swordbreaker.
It is after this that she realizes that Shaand Hemlockhave started attacking the creature too. She manages to reply "Yes, Lam is inside this thing!"

The froghemoth (using the [monster] tag linked to the legacy statblock, not the updated modern one) is beginning to truly show signs of the beating it's taking, bleeding as it is now from multiple stab wounds from Saoirse's shining weapons. Alauptram made a sickening, squelching noise against its thick, moist skin, but even that seems to have done some damage. When the lighting bolt crashes down on it, the monstrosity convulses momentarily. Saoirse is shaken wildly at the end of its tentacle, and Lam feels the spasms from inside its stomach. Sha can feel the electricity disappate across the surface of the water, a tingle in his legs and all of his fur stands on end. All three of the creature's eyes turn in rage to aim at Hemlock, though for the moment they are still unfocused because of Lam's wild burst of light.
Speaking of, Lam is raging inside the monster's belly, where it is difficult to move at all (restrained), all the moreso to get a good swing of the axe. The belly of the beast is filld with powerful acid, and he will take 7 acid damage from them at the start of his turn. He has nevertheless felt this new surge of power in him, and if another bolt of radiant light erupts from his chest, there is no way that it could possibly miss.
Lam feels a surge of power and healing rush through him. He isn’t sure what happened, but it reminds him greatly of Sha’s magic. He doesn’t have time to think about it, though, as the froghemoth unceremoniously pulls him into its mouth. In all his fury, he does not intend to be eaten today! Even with the light coming from his chest, it is impossible to see from inside the monster. He can only vaguely hear the muffled shouts of Saoirse without any idea what she’s saying, and moving around is also much harder in this space. His desperation to get out manifests in another burst of light from his chest, and he tries to lift his greataxe to swing it at something, anything in here.
Let me know if I’ve done this right!
Bonus action: Another burst of light from the chest. 1d6 radiant damage, and blinded until the start of its next turn (which admittedly is now).
Action: Two attacks with the greataxe! He can do two now! I think he’s at disadvantage because of being blinded and restrained, but I can cancel that out by making them reckless attacks. I think. I’ll do this differently if I’m wrong. First attack: 21 to hit, 9 damage. Second attack: 18 to hit, 16 damage.
The froghemoth shudders in pain, and from outside you can see light flash momentarily from its mouth. Its eyes seem to unfocus, then refocus on Hemlock. Despite the intense pain from inside, and the blood beggining to well up through its throat, the monster attempts to hold Lam down.
The froghemoth vomits blood and a drenched bugbear into the lake behind it. Lam lands in the water, and looks to be sinking. The lightning has it spooked, so it decides to move this fight to a more friendly environment. It lashes out to try to grab Hemlock with one of its 20-foot-long tentacles 25 to hit, 16 bludgeoning, and grapple. Then it grabs at Lam, hoping to hold him under the water; 24 to hit, 26 bludgeoning, and grapple. Finally, it bends down to enwrap Sha-Gravis in its needle-lined maw, to pull him into its stomach 26 to hit, 14 and swallow you. Dragging all the prey it can, the Froghemoth moves back off of the roof of the glass room, and into deeper water.
Hemlock feels the tentacle wrap around him with significant force, knocking the air from his lungs and bruises his ribs. His concentration wavers but the magical blessing he had received grants him the strength to maintain his resolve and his focus.
"Oooph".
Seeing the Froghemoth start to retreat into the lake, he attempts to send down another bolt of lightning onto it, avoiding his friends. Speaking of his friends, he sees they are also taking a beating, and sends healing energy to Lam if he can see him, or Saoirse if he can't. He uses the power of the Chalice still illuminated across his body to also heal Saoirse (if Lam was visible and benefitted from Healing Word) or himself if not.
He then bathes in the twilight provided by Sha, as he wriggles about in the tentacle.
Concentration (with Bless): 6+2+3=11 Action: Activate Call Lightning centred on Froghemoth but away from his friends, which has to make DC15 Dex Save or take 4 [lightning] damage. 2 on save. Bonus Action: Cast Healing Word on Lam (if visible) or Saoirse if not - 5. Chalice healing Saoirse (if Lam was visible) or himself (if not) - 8 Special: Starry Form: Chalice, Concentration: Call Lightning, Twilight Sanctuary - 4+5=9 temp hit points
(OOC: Wow, poor damage roll. Not sure why it rolled a fourth d10 either, just ignoring it. @Polaris - please let us know if Lam is visible. If so he heals 5, and Saoirse 8. If not Saoirse heals 5 and Hemlock 8)
Watching the huge monstrosity vomit up Lamis something Saoirsewill not forget for a very long time. She's relieved that the bugbear is finally free from the monster's stomach but, unfortunately, there's no time for celebration as the froghemoth manages to grapple Hemlocktoo and begins to submerge. The blood hunter barely gets a mouthful of air before sinking into the clear waters. Desperately, she continues to attack the creature, switching one of her rites to lightning, as it seems the beast is particularly averse this magic.
Bonus action: Crimson Rite (Lightning) on the rapier. Saoirse takes 1 point of damage for this.
Action: She attacks twice, at disadvantage. #1 is a critical failure. #2 is 16 +1 from Bless = 17 to hit, 17damage (12 piercing + 5 lightning).
The froghemoth shudders again at the lightning strike, but the convulsions are much more minor this time. Sha isn't quite able to get his paw on the monster in the water. Saoirse gets in one very good hit, and feels the shock of the crimson rite spreading out through the water, though focused on the beast, of course. The monster is still up and fighting, though badly injured.
Lam is barely able to take in a gasp of air in the second that he is deposited into the lake. Out of one awful, wet peril and into another. He cannot breathe. He can barely see. Everything is moving. He thinks they’re going deeper into the water. He hears the muffled voice of Hemlock, and briefly he feels a surge of relief as his Firbolg friend’s magical energy reaches him. He is still holding his greataxe. He takes a couple of swings, focusing mostly on making the greataxe move through the resistance of the water and just hoping to hit the large creature dragging him further down.
Action: Two attacks done recklessly, but at disadvantage because of the water- so cancelled out. 1st is 21 to hit, 7 damage. 2nd is 12 to hit, 9 damage.
Bonus action: Another burst of light. Con save or 1d6 radiant damage, and blinded. Still raging.
The froghemoth is terribly injured, and will soon fall. It is savage and desperate. It tries again to lash out at as many of you as it can. It squeezes Hemlock to try to break his concentration, and drags him off of the roof of the glass room and into deep water.12 to hit, 19 bludgeoning, still grappled. Then it pulls Saoirseeven deeper underwater, while trying to squeeze the life out of her; 16 to hit, 21 bludgeoning, and grapple. Finally, makes another attempt to swallow Sha-Gravis;30 to hit, 23 and swallow you. Lamis also still being held underwater.
Hemlock opens his mouth to scream in pain, only to find it fill with lake water as he is dragged under. Just as his focus is about to drop on the storm cloud above, he feels a jolt that helps him maintain it.
As that happens, a wave telekinetic energy flows from the sapphire gem he holds towards the froghemoth.
Seeing Sha swallowed and knowing that he himself can't take another round of punishment like that, given that he is likely not strong enough to escape, he does the only thing he can. Tries to end the life of the froghemoth before it ends his.
He once again calls down lightning from above, directing it to where it only connects with the froghemoth.
With the last of the air in his lungs, he speaks a word of healing, directing the curative energy into Lam and himself, whilst bathing in the twilight sanctuary provided by Sha-Gravis.
Concentration Save (with Bless): 6+2+2=10 (Fail - uses the mind sharpener this time to succeed) Reaction: Gift of the Gem Dragon - Telekinetic Reprisal - DC15 Strength save or take 16 [force] damage and be pushed 10ft away. 8 [force] damage on save. Action: Activate Call Lightning centred on Froghemoth but away from his friends, which has to make DC15 Dex Save or take 20 [lightning] damage. 10 on save. Bonus Action: Cast Healing Word on Lam - 5. Chalice healing on himself - 6 Special: Starry Form: Chalice, Concentration: Call Lightning, Twilight Sanctuary - 3+5=8 temp hit points

It squeezes Hemlock to try to break his concentration, and drags him off of the roof of the glass room and into deep water. 12 to hit, 19 bludgeoning, still grappled. Then it pulls Saoirse even deeper underwater, while trying to squeeze the life out of her; 16 to hit, 21 bludgeoning, and grapple. Finally, makes another attempt to swallow Sha-Gravis; 30 to hit, 23 and swallow you. Lam is also still being held underwater.
