 A soft whisper of a lyre plays gently as the winds calm, the sound only she can hear. The wooden arrow slots smoothly in the dock of the bow, purring softly with the sound of the wooden shaft rubbing against the beautiful olive wood of the bow. As she fires, before her fingers even leave the string, she knows her aim is true. The arrow whizzes like a bullet, striking through the eye of the one Akakios speared, clean through into the pirate with the crossbow. The kill was clean- both fall dead to the floor.

The other three pirates look incredibly nervous. “ARCHER! GET DOWN!” They duck behind cover, the one at the wheel still commanding the oarmen to continue onwards.

 The weapon cleaves through the barrel one of the pirates was hiding behind, but doesn’t seem to hit him. As the pirate becomes exposed, he seems the fire forming and attempts to escape. DEX: 9

He screams as his feet erupt in flames, desperately trying to stop drop and roll, but failing to get the fire to stop.

 The bolt blows apart one of the oars near the front of the ship. The oarmen yelps in surprise and drops the remains into the swirling sea. The second bolt slams into the oarman  and he falls backwards. It’s hard to tell whether or not he’s alive or dead, but the smoke rising from his charred body seems to suggest the latter.

Tagraul is leaning against the secondary masts, seeming a little bit asleep against the wood. A shield is leaned up on the pole beside him, the leonin leaning on the shaft of a spear that's been stuck into the deck. His mane is the same dull golden yellow as the rest of his fur, but a mix of shaggy brown intersects the color. He's wearing a set of simple chain mail armor, his normal clothes on under it. As the commotion starts, he opens one of his green eyes, looking around

The bell arcs through the air with the accuracy of someone who has played trashketball their entire life, clocking the pirate who’s feet are currently on fire in the head. It makes a painful CLANG sound, and the pirate groans, rubbing her head. It knocked her pirate hat off as well.

 A wooden pirate ship with black sails and siren symbols is bearing down on the group. There are three pirates alive above deck, one stunned with her feet on fire, the other two behind half cover. Two lie dead on the floor, a single arrow shot seeming to have killed them both. One of the oars has been blasted to bits, the oarman’s remains smoking through the small window. There are four oars remaining and two oarmen, both hidden behind the full cover of the deck.

Screaming seagulls swarm overhead, watching the crew murderously. It could be just his eyesight, but he swears that the seagulls have serrated beaks.. resembling teeth.

The sea below is churning, the foamy waves crashing against the boat. It seems more agitated than usual.
