The attack misses Thalron. His barbarian senses are on high alert. He tries to perceive anything noticeable about the creature, especially to his advantage (even though it is already outlined in a glow that makes it easier to strike.)
Progo sees the monster fall back at Fred's attack after watching the monster wounds heal "Drats, well lets see you heal from this." Progo will retrieve a flask of Alchemist Fire from his bag of holding (which I believe takes a full action) and will move within 15' of the creature.
(Figured that stuff might come in handy against this one, plus it's prone so I would lose advantage shooting at it. Now was as good of time as any to waste an action)

I follow your logic. But if allowed, would you go for it with a straight roll - faerie fire adv cancelling out prone dis?
(Gah, upon reread, you’ve already considered that.

Yeah, I’ll say with the glow of the færie fire it would be apparent that the wounds that were inflicted on it are closing and healing.

Fred/Dire Wolf attacks
Attack: 14 Damage: 10
D&D since 1984
Should have advantage due to faerie fire, no?

For advantage: Attack: 16 Damage: 15
D&D since 1984
Sheesh, I just looked…Dire Wolves have pack tactics. You’d have advantage even without faerie fire as long as one of us were within 5’.
If that second roll hits, the demogorgon is prone unless it makes a Save, yes?

Yes, Strength 13 save
D&D since 1984
In that case, the spell says concentration so Fred should roll a check for that too?
Hits
Strength save: 18
Demogorgon takes the hit from the Dire Wolf and is knocked prone.

((In the rules:You can also interact with one object or feature of the environment for free, during either your move or your action. For example, you could open a door during your move as you stride toward a foe, or you could draw your weapon as part of the same action you use to attack.Oh nvm, taking any item out of the bag of holding is a full action 😁))

Okay, so that’s Progo’s full turn?
(Yes, a rather uneventful turn for him)
