Guile, on your way to check on Arnel, you spot Aegnor walking Shadow. You can have him come along on your check, if you choose. (Also, Rog is a possibility, if he is out and about.)
Bridgette, now done doing whatever she needed to get done, steps out into the night and with her insane darkvision immediately notices Gema being carried off. She quickly runs up to the pair as fast as her legs will carry her.
"What in the name of Luthic is going on here?"the half-orc demands, then, as soon as it becomes clear that Gema isn't actually in danger, Bridgette cracks a smile. "And why in the Nine Hells didn't anyone send me an invite?"
Noticing what's happening with the LizOrgy, Ravager says "Have fun, I'm not THAT interested in finding out if lizardmen have two di¿ks. Be SURE to call me for girls night though."
And she goes shopping for healing potions, magic (pirate-y) weapons and s-ex toys. Emboldened by the lizard lust, she looks for a girl with a nice azz.
Guile and Aegnor approach the old temple and see someone peeking out the window, who then withdraws from it. As you enter the unlocked, partial ajar door at the front of the temple of Oghma, you hear shuffling of feet, and the grunt of people lifting heavy burdens. As you enter the darkened building, you hear clack of flint being struck and a candle being lit. Arnel is revealed sitting on the north side of the 3rd western long table in the center of the great room. (will post picture). You notice there are quite a few unlocked fetters lying about and no slaves or prisoners (at least within you Darkvision range.)
Arnel then places a cask of grog on the table along with a few tankards. "Greeting my fellows! You are probably wondering what the hell is happening! Come! Have a drink with me while I explain the opportunities available to you!"
"Now, now, no need for the insults... yet...", quips Arnel. He snaps off the collar and casually tosses it aside. "But you should realize the situation you're in." The smiling elf then takes a swig from his grog cup and continues on, "You have just been set up to take the fall for an 'attempted' slave escape. The funny thing is, the one who planned it didn't realize that it would turn into an actual escape orchestrated by me." Arnel then picks up an arrow lying on the table and starts tapping it on the table in front of him, "I still have plans that I need to finish here. I can help you with your situation if you help me with mine. OR we can just end our conversation here and you can deal with the end result."
Telepathically, "Updates the group if any are within contact range. If it's still active." He'll continue to communicate telepathically or try to make contact.
"Are we expecting company Arnel", Aegnor asks? "No matter. You in the back show yourself."
Beast speech, "Guard." Shadow will stay by Aegnor and attack if anyone approaches them threateningly.
"I would choose your actions carefully Arnel. Guile and I might be interested."
OOC: by this time Bridgette & Gema are under a pile of wriggling lizard flesh, Rog is working his way throw a cask of grog, snuggled in with his wolves in the stables next to your hostel and everyone else is either off to bed either alone or with a new companion (Ravager), fighting at the training grounds or hunting prey (Kumiko, who might be available if "nearby" (read responds to this text)).
Arnel responds, "Never mind the clean up crew, they'll be gone in a moment... feel free to send your pet to watch them leave..." As he awaits your response he says to you, "There is a gold and 2 red banders who do not appreciate the new competition your group brings in for power, prestige and treasure. When they heard about your group being brought in, they created the fake prison escapee plot to ruin your group. I found out about it and decided to make it a 'successful' escape." Arnel chortles heartily then continues, "You're still going to get blame for it... would you like to hear my plan and how you can turn it around on those fools?"
Guile smiles, as he enjoys plotting nearly as much as battle. "Please, elaborate on your plan. Then I'll judge who is competition or fool. Some names of the gold and red bander would be a good start."
Guile raises his voice, "And please, have your friends join us in the light. I'll find it hard to concentrate on your plan when some are skulking in the shadows."
Brigette can be part of Gema's party! In fact any female can be invited, you all weren't too far away when she was "invited".

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

And thus Bridgette is introduced to the "wonders" of Reptilian mating.

Cause pirates love booty.
Guile tries to get Aegnor's attention "Want to come along and see Arnel? I am curious to hear how he came into Agnir's service."
Guile enters the old temple looking for Arnel.
