Falkas blocks the tail swipe with the butt of his pike and makes a sign with his left hand to channel energy into his weapon which he brings around to stab into the drake. As the pike stabs into the beast, the energy pours into the creature giving it a very slight glow. He laughs and shifts quickly around the beast to the southwest of it he moves fifteen feet back and then drops darkness after the creature reacts. "Get them!"

Falkas hears in his head “Why did you drop the darkness, that drake was ours. I have already been telling the other Immortals that you are fighting a dragon and you let someone else kill the other one. Stop running away from it and get back in there and just kill it already before someone else does”

Back in the temple dungeon. High Priestess Lashaera Thindol is escorted into the next cell along. She looks around the cell with a disapproving look on her face, this lot seem even worse than the last set of retrobates. She clears voice, stands tall and says to the room “As you may have overheard from my last discussion, you are all considered responsible for your actions last night which caused a significant loss of income to our casino. You can either pay off the debt with gold, which will be several thousand gold each, work in the casino for a few years or perform more unusual tasks for me.” She gestures to the large Dragonborn “Do you happen to have the gold?”

Sorith had been silent as the High Priestess had practically lambasted the group in the cell next to hers before they had been ushered through a... something. Still, seeing the guard who'd been practically assaulted by bread had made it pretty difficult for the barbarian to keep from just bursting out laughing every time she would look at him, so she'd focused on making herself practically invisible by keeping herself still and silent. The cerulean-scaled dragonborn blinks when Lashaera's question addresses her in particular and, in response, Sorith uttered the first thing that came to mind:
"Wait. You can see me? I thought I was doing a good job being invisible," Sorith replies before she ever so slowly reaches down to grab a tiny pouch from her belt before (also slowly) raising it up and giving it a jingle. "I have exactly ten gold."
High Priestess Lashaera Thindol gives Sorith a look, like they are just the latest in a series of trials sent to test the Priestess. “Well dear, that isn’t really enough now is it. Your options are therefore to scrub floors for the next few decades or you can join the group that I just sent through the portal to help retrieve my statue from those Beshaba worshipping fanatics and their vile casino”

The dragonborn just shrugs before putting the pouch away before Sorith pulls herself to her clawed feet and dusts herself off. The thought of scrubbing floors for practically the rest of her life didn't sit right with her, since it was a chore she had to do back at the village and definitely not a favorite. She'd left home to become an adventurer, so the choice was obvious.
"As long as I can have my weapons back, I'll take my chances out there in the great unknown."
The high priestess looks you up and down and says "Well yes, I'm sure that you will be invaluable in any situation that requires cunning or stealth. I will also grant you one healing potion and one potion of Guidance. Please see Hodon and he will return your weapons and help you with other equipment."
Chrys calls out to Twelve, "Oy! Look alive! That drake'll give you a nasty bite if you aren't careful. Let's finish this thing off and get to the casino!"
"Very much so. I've mastered the art of invisibility, after all," Sorith replied, moving a few steps closer, though she paused to wait for the high priestess to open the cell door. "It was a while before you noticed I was here, after all." She gave a single nod, both at her own words and at Lashaera's offer. "Sounds good to me."
Sitting in the dark in his cell, there is the sound of movement as a knee is lifted, a foot slides, and then the slim figure slowly stands. “I’ll take that deal.” The words are thin, tired, but hopeful. The figure steps forward and you see a dark elf, taking everything in, looking at faces and listening to the names and conversations bandied about. “That first crew needs help, don’t they?” he says to the high priestess. “I have skills, magical powers given to me by my lady, the Raven Queen. I can help you, in your quest. If you get me out of here. I don’t have 10,000 gold, and I’m not a fan of scrubbing. But I can help. If you give my things back to me and send me there, I’ll get that statuette and bring it back for you. And another thing….” He pulls his hand back over his long, black hair, he says, in gnomish, “I can translate. I can get them in the door. Please… let me have a chance.” He stand and crosses his arms, looking at the high priestess with a grim set jaw, hoping that she agrees.
