Corlith looks at Roo and frowns, "Finding it difficult wrangling the others as well. This group may be effective, but efficient we are not. Chaos circles us like vultures over a corpse, and every one of us just follows every whim we have, no matter the consequence. I do not exclude us from that sentiment either, although my whim is to try and bring a little order to proceedings".
He waits as Reed wanders around and organises his skeletons, before continuing.
"Anyway, give us all time, we are new to each other and will learn each others temperaments soon enough. If we stick together of course. And remember, you are as much a common chicken as Wilfred is a monkey or Archie is a camp fire", he says with a smile as he taps Roo on his shiny new breastplate before letting him passed.
He then wanders into the room where the others are resting.
"I think someone pissed Roo off", is all he says on the matter before changing the subject. "Learn anything new whilst you were splashing around in blood?", he adds, a look of mild disgust on his face at the state of the others.
Taking a short rest, Archie falls asleep, sat up against a wall, her legs still covered in the dried blood making a stink. As she snoozes her flames dim and the heat from her becomes less intense, the lights inside the armour shell flicker and sputter, then flare up but this time blue. "WHERE AM I?" a tinny voice booms out as she sits upright, though the voice is not Archie's.
The suit of armour looks around and quickly stands up, observing it's surroundings, looking at the face of each and every individual in the vicinity "DANGER!, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, UNKNOWN, INTRODUCTION, ARE YOU HOSTILE? STATE YOUR BUSINESS!" It looks at their clothes and down to its own feet, booming out once more, "BLOOD! SIGNS OF HOSTILITY, LIKELY FATAL, HEALING REQUIRED?" as quickly as the blue flame flared up it extinguishes and Archie collapses to the floor motionless.
Roo doesn't have much to say to Corlith when he addresses him in the hall. He instead just nods and rides on, getting a little distance between him and the others while he decompresses. He doesn't mean to be rude, and tries to nod as Reed pats his shoulder, but he remains silent for a good fifteen to twenty minutes before he brings Glory of Morning back around to the rest of the group.
"Apologies, Corlith." He says, his head moving from side to side in that jerky fashion he has. "You are right. I haven't exactly been a sterling example of discipline myself. I will do better. I really appreciate your kind words. We don't have many things to say to one another, back home. It is refreshing to hear something like that from time to time. And yes, Reed. Thank you as well. Things are alright in the hall."
He takes a moment to study the rest of the group.
"We have done a lot of damage to the denizens of this dungeon, but it's quite apparent that there is more information to be gathered here than we are taking advantage of. I know I have answers I want. I know that Wilfred has answers he wants as well. And I suspect that, given what we've heard so far, and the nature of this operation, there are answers that everyone can benefit from. As you all may or may not know, I find killing to be easier than...well. Waking up, sometimes. But perhaps we can all agree to kill only after we've learned what we're after."
His wattle wiggles as he looks around quickly. His comb quivers.
"You know what? I don't even care so much about the rest of the information. I'd like Wilfred to learn what he needs to learn. After we have our answers, you're free to do with the rest of these sad featherless curs as you wish. Buc."
Corlithcleans a spot and sits back against the wall. He looks to Mortlock, and then to the others in the room.
"So, are we happy Mortlock here has given us all the information we want? And all he has?", he asks, looking closely at Mortlock when he adds the second bit.
When Archie's armour jumps up and her flames turn blue, and she speaks with the different voice, he watches closely without engaging.
"That's the second time that has happened. It is as if something else takes over whenever Archie is not conscious", he muses. "And she doesn't seem to be aware of it either. Her armour certainly isn't all it seems".
When Roo returns and gives his speech, he completely agrees. "Well spoken Roo. And remember, killing is only an option, not a certainty", he says, once more looking at Mortlock.
"Uh, is your friend alright? I mean, honestly when I heard a girl's voice come out of that thing I was surprised, but now this? Hostile? I'm glad they went quiet, hopefully they are ok?"
Mortlock stands after his rest, feeling a bit better. "Alright, if its ok with you lot, I'm going to head on out of here. I helped you with Nebra, damn she sure did a number on me, and gave you the information I had." He looks to Roo'Stor, "As for information you are looking for, I do not have any more, I am sorry. I am doubting Vaaz has what you want, but my brother might? He has always been the mastermind behind these things." he shrugs, "I was just always the muscle."
"I wish you all luck in whatever it is you are trying to do." and he heads out the door.
Virro finishes with the finger then comes to join the rest of the party, sitting down to meditate and rest. Totally oblivious to the matters previously noted and only seeking death for Nebra, he is unaware of any offense or issue that Roo might have. After the discussion, he is made aware and starts nodding repeatedly. “I’m sorry if I offended anyone… I thought that she was so deadly, I wanted to see life terminated. Immediately! Did you see, she turned invisible! Excellent idea all of making her outline visible with the blood, grabbing her and pushing her into that container of blood. I wanted to finish her, I apologize for any offense… but … no, I’m not really sorry about it. Another finger for the bag. And, I wouldn’t have believed a damn word out of her mouth. But going forward, yes, I will hold on ending someone’s life if one of us gives a clear, verbal halt and a reason why. I think we are quite a team, together. Do let us continue, yes?” Virro looks up with a smile, wiping his hands, hoping to make amends.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"You're weird when you sleep, Ironmaiden." Roo says when she wakes up from her catnap, but his eyes don't leave Mortlock. "I'm done with you. But if you make us regret this, I'll kill everyone that matters to you and destroy everything you value before I find you. Ta-ta for now. Buck."
He spends a second digesting what everyone has said, but doesn't say anything further. He shrugs, halfhearted, but stays there with his friends.
“Did we really agree to let this one go whilst we take on his assassin without him? That doesn’t seem like the sort of thing we would agree to”, Corlith says motioning to Mortlock and shaking his head.
“And yeah, you did that blue flame monotone voice thing again”, he adds to Archie a little casually. She didn’t believe him last time, so he isn’t going to make a big deal of it.
Archie stops stretching, "weird when I sleep? Like I sleepwalk or sleep talk or something, Blue flame thing? What blue flame thing? I don't understand... You mentioned it before but I, I'm not sure what you meant, my flames are red. Always have been, explain what you mean." Archie sounds frustrated and confused, not paying much mind to Mortlock as he scurries away from a fight, coward like.
Archie produces the flame in her hand and watches it turn blue, "huh, that ain't right, and I was acting weird when this went on?... I really gotta find Master Thell once we're done with this cult stuff, she might be able to tell me what's going on with this suit, and also how to remove it... Thanks for telling me anyway, and if it happens again, well... I dunno what to do about it but u sure don't like it" Archie looks at her armoured hands, hands that aren't her own, she lets out a big sigh before resigning herself to whatever is gonna happen next.
While waiting for Mort to answer his question about where they can find his brother after this is over, Reed turns his attention to what seems to be going on with the IronMaiden.
"Hey Arch, say you flip a tortoise over on its back. Its belly is baking and it needs your help to flip over, but you're not helping." Reed begins then asks "Why is that?"
"am I in the middle of a desert or something? Because if I ain't helping, it's probably because that turtle is going to be a fine soup once I'm finished with it... Why'd you ask anyhow?" She tilts her head at Reed questioningly
Wilfred looks to Roo' as he makes his way out to be on his own. After getting answers from Mort, he was tempted to go talk to Roo', but figured better. Some times people need to be left alone.
Wilfred shakes as much blood off his hat as possible, then finds a corner to get a quick cat nap. He manages to let out a few snores before he is startled awake by Blarchie (Blue Archie). He jolts up, but still half asleep says "Jumpin' Jhannexydofalamarne! What in the nine hells is happening! Sophia, calm down, you're just having a bad dream!" Wilfred shakes his head and gets to his feet as Blarchie falls. "What just happened to Archie?" Wilfred will let those smarter than him take a look at the girl.
When Roo'Stor comes back in, Wilfred will smile at him. "Thank you Roo'. You are a good friend. I'm sorry we haven't found the answer you seek, but I will help you as best I can. I can get a bit of.... tunnel vision, when it comes to my quest. But know I will be there if you need me."
Wilfred watches as Mortlock goes to leave. He looks at the others, to see what they do, clutching his Glaive in case the others didn't want him to leave. After hearing Corlith's words, Wilfred adds to Mortlock's back as he leaves "That's true, these assassins' were meant for you, weren't they. Your brothers betrayed you. Your family betrayed you. And you are just going to leave? Don't you want some revenge?"
Virro looks up with interest at the line of questioning, holding his chin and cocking his head sideways. “A hornet lands on your arm and might sting you. Do you swat it? Do you shoo it away? Do you produce flame to consume it?” He gauges her response, but has difficulty in not being able to see her pupils…

Archie looks toward Virro, again her head cocked questioningly, "I uhhhh, I guess if I notice it then I ignore it, this armour is thicker than a hornet can sting through, though if there was a real chance it could sting I guess I'd raise my temperature and it'd either fly away or perish, but that would be it's choice... Reed mimes hopping around like a monkey when Corlith finishes speaking.
After they've rested, Reed goes and checks on the skeletons to see if they're still where he left them.
"Hey Roo," he says as he passes the small warrior, "thanks for keeping watch."
Then he stops and looks directly at Roo.
"Big folk don't usually understand how much their words can cut," Reed says. "But as my mum says, they can sod right off."
He then continues on to the skeletons and takes a look into the water room behind the secret door, listening carefully for any noise that way.

Reed listens for a long moment at the entrance to the watery secret corridor where they met Morty.
"Nope, don't hear anything. Wonder where that guy got to," he says to the skeletons.
He's about to say more to them when he hears the outburst from back at their rest stop.
"I'm sure that's nothing to worry about," Reed says as much to himself as the skeletons.
Finally he calls back down the hall to Roo.
"What's going on back their, Roo?"
Roo doesn't have much to say to Corlith when he addresses him in the hall. He instead just nods and rides on, getting a little distance between him and the others while he decompresses. Archie begins stirring once more, her flames flickering the usual red, illuminating the joins in her armour.
"What's... What's going on? Did I doze off? Bloody hell this place must be getting to me."
Archie stands and stretches, she then gives her light hammer a few practice swings before sheathing it and looking around, "we ready? Where to next?"
