Wilfred hears the new guard yell after running through his field of vision. Then he hears some commotion from the large tent. He looks to Roo' and Corlith and motions that he is heading towards the large tent. He puts away his bow and takes out his new glaive.

He stares intently at the corner of the tent for a good 3 seconds. "Yea, that's just canvas." He will stand guard where he is for now.
A large man in studded leather holding a shield and spear, uses the latter to push apart the canvas of the large tent as he bends over to not hit his head. He stands behind his row of halflings and surveys the situation.
Seeing the fire, what seems like ashes from former guards and the one that is now pinned against the pole next to him, he frowns. Seeing only Reed and Virro, he glares at the two, but then focuses on Reed. "One of these is your mum? How sweet. And now either she will live or you, you'll have to choose."
"Now. You've had your fun, and if you two know what is good for you, you'll turn and leave. I'll be sure to send mum home promptly."
Virro turns to the man in the leather armor and grins, saying “I’ll take that armor off you after you are dead. You see, we have friends… and don’t you DARE threaten his mother. In fact, I want you to shut the hell up and FREEZE!”
Virro casts hold person on the man, DC 13 wisdom save or he is paralyzed. He turns to Reed’s mum and says “When he freezes, you tie him up then whack him on the head with that frying pan!”

Corlith can't see past the tents in his way, but he can certainly hear what is going on. He moves to the south to get visibility on the situation whilst remaining in sight of Roo, his concern growing now he knows Reed's mum is in the mix.
Seeing the row of three halflings arrayed as a frying pan version of a shield wall in front of the large bandit, he shakes his head, "Oh this will not do".

The large man takes the hit from the sudden appearance of Roo, but then dodges quickly to avoid the second attack. He grins at Roo, "That was a neat trick."
The remaining bandit sees Corlith appear from behind the tent and drawing his scimitar rushes the tiefling. He slashes at Corlith, but at the last second Corlith moves enough so that just his clothes get a rip from the sharp tip of the scimitar.
Reed sees Roo appear and draw the attention of the brigand by his mom and her friends. That draws a smile to his face. The other bandit though takes off and Reed loses sight of him. Not wanting to lose track of the situation, Reed moves forward, hopping up onto the wagon in front of Virro. He uses the goods on the wagon as a bit of cover to observe both bandits now.
He draws back another arrow and lets it fly at the one who is now dealing with Roo.
The arrow flies off course immediately but, as luck would have it, it hits the frying pan that his mom is holding and ricochets back towards the bandit.
If it hits, Reed directs one of his ghostly companions to go out a bit of fear into the bandit attacking Corlith.
Reed then slips between two of the crates on the wagon to minimize how much he can be seen.
Movement - On to the wagon

Archie sees things begin to happening and giggles, this is the fun part, she thinks as she rushes forward planting herself nicely between the halflings and faces the bandit that Roo is attacking.
She winds up, both fists crackling with energy and let's loose like an ill trained boxer.
(Two hits both for 23, for 12 and 9 thunder damage)
"Well hello there Reed's mum! We've heard alot about you, infact the boy won't stop talking to you! Haha"
Reed pierces the man after his arrow ricochets off his mum's frying pan, but as the man looks for who sent the arrow, Reed has successfully hidden amongst the supplies on the wagon. The other bandit screams as the ghost inflicts his damage.
Archie attempts to bust through the canvas that has been tied to the posts in the tent that she has been hiding in. She rushes forward, stretching the canvas taught... and then gets sprung back to her starting spot within the tent. Anyone outside of the tent can see an Archie shaped figure press against the canvas and promptly disappear.
After bounding back there is a crash and a bang from within the tent as sarchie scrambles to her feet once more and then a ripping sound as her dagger makes a nice little doorway, "lets try that again"
After Archie makes his door within the tent canvas side, another bandit comes waltzing out of the opening of the mine. "Well, I think Ms Verna is going to have a hard.." and he stops as he registers what is going on. He pulls out his scimitar and rushes straight over to Wilfred. Completely whiffing his attack in his rush and confusion of the situation.
The halflings continue to shake and shiver with everything going on. Reed's mum gives a small smile to Reed, but it definitely looks strained. They all tend to gawk at Roo as well, seeing that well he is a fighting rooster and he appeared out of thin air. They seem more scared now then before.
Wilfred, hearing the commotion in front of the tent, didn't want to be left out. He gets ready to slash through the infernal canvas, when someone comes rushing towards him. "Oh, well then, that works." He positions his glaive so the bandit runs right into it. "You couldn't have said hello first?" Wilfred twirls his Glaive and goes for a viscous strike, but it gets caught in some of the canvas and goes wide. He quickly follows up with the butt of his glaive.

Before the newcomer even realizes what is happening, he is slashed, butted over the head and goes down like a sack of rags.
The leather clad man takes hold of his spear and three times attempts to hit Roo. Missing on each and every one. He scowls, "What are you? Some magical thing that appears out of thin air and cannot be hit?" He pounds his spear on the ground in frustration.
Virro looks down at his black gloved hand, almost confused as to how he is still moving, still talking. “Fine.” he says to himself, he points his hand forward again and a dark ethereal hand shoots out across from him, over the nicely roasting bonfire, and reaching out to strike the man in the leather armor, grabbing onto him if it hits. “Just give up and stop wasting our time!”

Reed lets an arrow fly through the gap in the crates straight towards the bandit by Roo and his mom. It's only after he releases the arrow that he realizes the bandit isn't moving. Then he spots the other one isn't either.
He bobs his head from side to side, impressed with whomever pulled this off, suspecting Corlith but not ruling out Virro.
"What are you waiting for?" Reed says to the air. "He's not moving. Should be easy to scare him this time."
Reed then hops down off the wagon and moves to the center of the camp.
"Hey Mum," Reed calls. "I hate to ask, but it would be a grand help if you and Missus Barleywillow and Missus Longglade would uses those frying pans to give that bandit there a good whack. That should finish him off nicely."
Actions:
Shortbow: (14, 19 + 7) = 26 to hit for (6+5 + sneak attack of 2 + 3) = 16 piercing on center bandit
Wails from the Grave = 5 necrotic on the bandit by Corlith
Now free from her fabric prison, Archie comes steaming out of the tent like a woman possessed, her gauntlets still crackling excitedly with lightning energy. She positions herself nicely opposite Roo and between a couple of the halfling women where she then takes her time and swings two sucker punches up at the bandit that Roo and Reed just bloodied, (23 to hit for 12 lightning dam, and 19 to hit for 6 lightning damage) "good afternoon folks! Hey are you Reed's mum? We've heard so much about you!"
As an onslaught of attacks occur against the leather clad man, the blood starts flowing profusely. He is looking in really bad shape now. The remaining bandit has boils upon his skin that is exposed as Reed's ghosts attack the paralyzed man.
Seeing the fight swing solidly in their favor, the women halflings look at one another and then at Reed. Silently communicating between themselves, you can see the scared faces turn to hardened determination. They grab their frying pans with both hands and swing for the fences...
The beat down comes hard and fast as the women surround the man, Reed's mum dealing 4 hp, Susie dealing 6 hp and Alba with another 6 hp. The man's eyes roll in the back of his head as the paralysis leaves his body and he crumples to the ground.
The women cheer and bang their pans together in triumph. Reed's mum turns to Archie, "I... I am, nice to meet you."
