"I don't know why they grabbed me! They haven't said a thing just hung me here and tortured me...." He trails off looking more hopeless by the minute.
Klim looks at Corlith, "Please, I will pay you. Handsomely if you get me out of here..please." He starts to look panicked when it seems you may just leave him there. "At least, let me out of these shackles!"
As Wilfred removes one of the gauntlets... it flies out of Wil's hand as well as the other one off the suit of armor and attacks!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Roo looks up halfway through another dip of his backside as the gauntlets spring to live and attack Wilfred. His eyes, always wide, focus on what is happening, before he comes splashing out of the sewer water again and moving toward Wilfred.
"Wilfred!" He shouts in near hysterics. "Hold on, Wilfred! I'm coming! Oh by the love of Gallus! The Man in White's oven mitts!"
Roo goes scrambling up Wilfred's back to try to get some reach...
As they are suspended right above Wilfred, he attempts to slice at the offending gloves with his glaive, but apparently does his best work with the butt.
Ironmaiden whips a 180 from looking at the prisoner to laying her attention on Wilfred and his glove troubles. Like a quickdraw cowboy, Archie's light hammer comes rocketing out of its holder and it gets thrown, spinning across the room toward the offending gloves, (11 to hit, 5 bludgeoning damage) whether the hammer throw hits or not, the hammer flares with flame and returns to Archie's outstretched hand as she yells out, "what the hell Wilfred? What did you do!?"
Virro ducks behind Klim, saying to him “Whoa, hopefully those gloves won’t hit you in the nuts, they look like they will pack a punch!” He points his hand at the gloves, and a skeletal hand shoots out and splits in two, trying to smack each of the gloves.
Chill touch to glove 1 : 24 to hit for 2 points of necrotic damage.
Chill touch to glove 2 : 25 to hit (Crit!) for 10 points of necrotic damage.
Virro ducks back behind Klim saying “Hell of a thing, quite a situation we’re in, huh?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"I've got them, Wilfred! I'll save you! The Man in White shant have you this da.....ay." Roo' shouts in the moment before both of the gloves are literally iced by Chill Touch and fall out of the air. His beak falls open, and he studies the gloves at they hit the floor. His last word sort of sputters out in disbelief. "Well. You're saved! We're saved! Well done, Virro! You are a featherless with the skills of a scale-legged warrior!"
He hops down finally, landing on the floor next to Wilfred, and shaking out his feathers as he looks upon the work they've done. Finally he notices the guy strapped to the wall and begins to sidestep his direction.
"Oh ho, what do we have here? Virro, do you need help interrogating our prisoner? Bawk!"
Once the gauntlets fall to the floor, Ironmaiden rushes up to prevent anyone else touching them. "Can I have a moment to take a look around at these things? We need to know if this is going to happen again, no one touch anything!" with that said she stands before the rest of the headless armour and goes completely still like a statue...
After ten minutes or so her head snaps back, looking straight up as two burning orbs appear in her visor just like back at the bar, she begins looking over things in the room
Looking around the room, the Ironmaiden focuses on two main points, "these were enchanted" she says nudging the gauntlets through the water with her foot, and then turning around she points "so are those..." She points directly to the shackles holding Klim to the wall, "enchantment covers a lot of things, curses, magic suppression, traps... Be careful"
Klim finally lays eyes on the rooster once he addresses him, "Interrogate me? For what? I thought you were the Flaming Fists! I'm not your prisoner, you're here to free me! Right?"
Corlith is contemplating Klim’s statement that he would pay them handsomely and his subsequent request to free him of the shackles when the furore happens behind him.
Turning around he watches the gauntlets that were at one point animated drop to the floor with two skeletal hands clutching them.
With everything seemingly taken care of, he just shrugs and turns back to the prisoner.
”You heard the Ironmaiden, we can’t touch anything”, he says to Klim motioning to the shackles and shaking his head.
Looking to Roo, “Best keep an eye on those other passages Roo, we don’t want to be interrupted”.
Once Archie is done, which seems like an age, he will motion to Reed. “Fancy trying one of those keys? Then Klim here has a choice, follow us or make his way out alone”.
“If I were you, I would head out the way we came in, perhaps with a quick bath along the way. You can find your way. It’s through 2 feet of shit and fetid water. Good times!” Virro smirks and looks over at Roo, saying “Thank you, Roo. Glad to help.” He turns back to Klim as the keys are being hunted and sorted out, saying “You know, Roo loves to peck the heck out of toes. And other things. You sure there isn’t anything else you overheard? They didn’t talk amongst themselves as they were doing there .. work?” He looks at Klim with an emotionless face, hearing a search for the right key in the background.

"Yes yes, quite right!" Roo says as he backs up, positioning himself so that he can see down the nearby passage as well as the back of the room. He looks side-eyed at Klim. "All Sir Virro has to do is ask me to intervene and I swear by Gallus I'll use my razor sharp beak to rend you to shreds. Yes, you're right, and most observant you blithering dolt, we are Flaming Fists, but we aren't here for you. You're simply not that important. We're who they call when they want everything in a given location killed... Everything, Flim. Everything. I'm sure you understand what that means."
Roo makes a series of low, trilling noises in his chest as he keeps his guarding position. His comb and wattle are starting to look a little pale.
Reed sighs after the short lived entertainment with the gloves. With them flying high he hadn't even bothered getting too excited about them. They had seemed far more interested in Wilfred. Maybe they had a height bias.
He looks from the keys to the prisoner and over at Corlith and nods.
"Now the safest place for you would be to leave you chained up here," Reed says. "We could find your family and let them know where you are. Perhaps after they make their donation."
He looks around at the others.
"Just because these two," he gestures at the dead cult members, "are evil pieces of crap doesn't mean this one deserves to be free. He could just as well stick a knife in our back."
Reed looks more closely at Klim.
"I'm for leaving him here," Reeds says with a smile.
"um guys... We gotta help people in need though right?" Archie stammers out quietly "like, if we leave him to die aren't we just as badxas the Dom and Buckethead? I think he'd be stupid to attack one Vs five" she looks to Roo and then to Reed "...technically six, I ermm suppose. Help me out here Wild, you can't think he deserves to rot here, right?" She makes to take the keys from whoever has them currently
Corlith looks from Reed to Archie and back, then to Klim in nothing but a loincloth.
"He'd have to be pretty talented to be hiding a knife on his person", he says to Reed with a little chuckle before becoming more serious again.
"I am tired of merely standing around, free him or not we need a decision. The question posed is if this person deserves to rot here. I see no reason that they should. Reed, if you are giving your word that you will find this man's family so help can be sent, then give him food and water to sustain him and let's be on our way. If you are not giving your word to do that, then give Ironmaiden the keys so he can be released and we can get moving".
If anyone does attempt to open the shackles with the key, he will lay a hand on their shoulder and provide some defence against potentially harmful effects.
Virro smiles at Reed’s explanation and decision about the matter. “But, left to his own devices, he will likely get killed on the way out of here. Let’s give him some of our rations and fresh water right now, have a look at whatever else is down here, then take him with us on the way out of this place. If one of us splits off to take him up, that would be very dangerous and we need to stick together until we accomplish our task, right? I agree with Reed. We got him out of danger. But I don’t want him running around down here and warning whatever else that is lurking that we are coming, or have him run off on his own and get killed, or split our team in half to make sure of his safety.” Virro stops and stands beside Reed, looking back at Corlith and the Maiden, looking up and saying “Right?”

"You featherless are quite large." Roo says, jumping up onto the alter. He struts back and forth, still shaking the water from his feathers. His pale comb lays over to one side. "For all you know, he's got a knife in his...what's the proper term here...keister. Happens all the time, from my understanding. That's how you get them into your weird big prisons so you can stab each other and so forth! Big knives, some two feet long. We Gallus call those swords!"
He turns, eyeballing Klim up and down.
"There's only one clear answer here, gentlemen. We kill him. If we release him to his own devices he will surely die before the entrance. He's obviously wanted here for...whatever reason. Apologies, I was busy and didn't hear. They'll just capture him again. Or they'll come out of the shadows to do whatever to him once we're out of the way. And once he's outside, no telling what he'll have to say about us, or our operation, especially now that we've minimized the value of his life. Yes, I'm afraid that once you started the debate about letting him live or die...the only answer became die. Who wants the honors?"
Ironmaiden flares her fingers and turns to Roo, her hand ignites and the flickering of the flame reflects in the avian's eyes, "he is the enemy of our enemy... No one is killing him, we were sent here to protect!" She states with an unfamiliar air of decisiveness.
