Virro quickly packs away the yuan-ti snake woman construct into his backpack, he seems all to eager to do so. “I’ll look at you later..” he mutters under his breath. He gathers his things and heads over to the Low Lantern with the rest of the group, in the most jovial mood that you’ve seen him. He skips along on the cobblestones, stepping only in the middle, avoiding the cracks. “Step on a crack, break your mother’s back! Especially if her bones are like paper! Hah!”
After they arrive, he bends down and examines the gulls to see why they are dead…

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Corlith listens to Reed explain their purpose at the Low Lantern, and chimes in to elaborate.
"Our task was to put a stop to the murders and wipe out the lair of the Cult of the Dead Three, and although by those terms we achieved our goal, the instigators of those murders could be defined as the ones employing the cult members. As Reed says, if Mortlock's family were paying the cult to commit those murders, then I want to know and make sure they don't just pivot to paying another bunch of low-life scum to cause the same trouble", he explains.
With that he puts a hand on Reed's shoulder, helping him focus.
Roo slept all night in the rafters before it was time to rise and create the stir that was the way of his people. He leaped down onto a tabletop and began to strut and puff himself up and crow, crowing so loud that it woke up pretty much everyone sleeping there and one of the attendants came out of a back room to hurl a stein at him.
The rest of the morning is a quiet blur for Roo. There's clearly something on his mind, though it's unclear if it's anything to do with the hurled mug. He spends a lot of time with Glory of Morning, standing back, watching, observing...
All the way up until Virro begins to examine the dead gull.
Roo rides Glory of Morning closer, taking his chance to lean over and look at the body of the bird as Virro tries to decipher what has happened. He recoils some, trying hard to distance himself from the horror of something so similar to himself being dead, then wheels his steed away. Fog has begun to bead on Glory of Morning's fur as Roo looks at the side of the Lantern...and then spurs Glory of Morning up the permanent gangplank...
"These people down there make me feel sad," Reed says. Then he continues. "Three people are playing dice at a table. Elven bartender and two customers at the bar. One looks human and the other is more my size. And three very bored looking bouncers."
He shakes himself a little and his smile returns then he notices Virro examining dead seagulls.
"My mum always told me to avoid dead birds," Reed says. "Winged harbour rats I think she calls those ones."
Archie is looking down at her hands finally noticing some difference in the armour she is wearing, "hey, did this thing change, guys. Hey guys did this get better? Just what the hell is going on, I gotta check this out, they'll have a mirror in the bathroom right?"
Frustrated and confused Archie doesn't hesitate and heads to the tavern door, stopping just Infront of the bouncers she hurriedly speaks, "hey I'm a paying customer but could we hurry this bit up, I gotta use the restroom real quick, is it over there? Wheres the John?"
The man looks at the suit of armor, visibly perplexed that not only is it talking, but has a teenage female voice. "Customer? Restroom? John?" He scratches his head as he tries to understand the question or questions as he sees it. Then finally "Yeah, that way." and he points to a door at the end of the tavern area.
Archie dodges around the bouncers and quickly wanders off into the restroom, only for a moment before her voice echoes out loudly from the bathroom, "OH WHAT THE HELL!"
"Well, better quiet for our purpose I guess", Corlith replies to Reed, before watching Archie rush off. He frowns a little, "She is certainly unpredictable. Although most of you lot are'.
He follows Reed but stops at the bouncers, looking one up and down. "Amrik in?", he says directly, trying to make it sound both casual whilst leaving no uncertainty about the fact he expects a reply. "Where is he?".
The bouncer looks bored as Corlith approaches, using his fingers to try and dig something out of his teeth. He pulls out his finger and looks at it, frowning as nothing is there. Then looks at Corlith as the tiefling speaks and straightens up.
"Amrik? Why yes sir, he is downstairs in his er, office. Here, I'll take you to him." He gives an awkward little smile to Corlith, then spins on his heel and heads down the stairs that are located in the middle of the tavern. Not waiting to see if you are following or not, he descends to the lounge section of the ship.
Holding is arm out with his hand pointed towards the front of the ship, "Over there sir." and you see a man sitting on a couch with his feet up on the coffee table, he notices you right away as he is keeping his eyes on the open area of the lounge. Opposite him sits another couch, perched on the back of it is a spined devil.
There are three more bouncers walking around this level as well that look equally as bored as ones that are surveying the tavern area. There is an orc behind the bar at this level, a sleepy-eyed human man with a long pony tail at the end of the bar closest to Amrik, and at the other end of the lounge are two drows deep in conversation at a small table.
Reed follows along after Corlith and the bouncer. When they get down to the hold below, his eyes fixate on the spined devil.
"I'm not sure which is a clearer sign that Amrik is a crap person," Reed whispers. "The spined devil working with him or that he hangs around thugs with ponytails. So we ask him about the spa and the culties first?"
Roo saunters on down to the subdecks with the rest of the party, one hand tight around the reins of Glory of Morning, the other resting easy on the hilt of his sword. His eyes settle on the spined thing, and his head stops its usual jerking from side to side. He blinks once, fast, and absorbs the sight of the thing.
He listens intently to what Reed has said, but doesn't take his eyes off the fiend or the man it's associated with.

“Hey uh, guys? These birds, they were stung to death! That’s weird…”. Virro shrugs his shoulders, looking around, taking everything in, then follows Roo along the gangplank. He follows the group downstairs, eying the spined devil, saying to Roo, “Oohh, wonder if he hates gulls…”
Archie comes rushing up behind the group, umming happily, "hey geezers, you all ain't gonna believe this shit, I got some surprise upgrades from that goddamn night tinkerer... I think if this keeps happening then I can deal with the morning headaches, seems a good trade off. Oh hey what's happening here?" Archie doesn't need to move much to see directly over the group, but she leans forward anyway lifting up on to her tiptoes as she catches a glance of the spined devil, "oh what the hell is that thing, that looks cool as shit, let's go say hi!"
Corlith surveys the scene in the lounge area of the ship, from the spined devil to the bouncers and then the other patrons.
"It seems suspicious associations run in the family. Didn't Mortlock mention the other brother associated with Imps? That devil may look cool, but just be careful", he says quietly to the others as they start to approach.
He then addresses Amrik. "Amrik Vanthampur I presume. We have some questions for you on behalf of the Flaming Fists about your operation at the bathhouse, and your funding of the murders carried out by the Cult of the Dead Three who were residents of the hideout below it. Along with questions about items found in that hideout", he says directly, subtly glancing at Roo when mentioning the last part.
"We request your co-operation and that you accompany us so we can resolve this matter", he adds, hoping to remove Amrik from the Low lantern and all the possible allies he has here.
As he begins talking, Virro quickly looks at the lay of the land, alternate doors, passageways, looking to see where other enemies could attack them, cut off their escape, flank them, etc. He rubs his black right glove, squeezing the top of it, asking silently for guidance.

Amrik looks up to Corlith and smiles, “Why yes, yes I am. And who might you be? Hmm.. the Flaming Fists? They are still a viable group?” He looks a bit perplexed, “I don’t see why, they can’t do a decent job for this city.”
He looks utterly affronted when Corlith accuses him of funding the murderous group, “What? Me? Why who would tell you such lies? Ohh I bet it is that scar-faced hulk of a brother of mine. Despicable. That man consorts with the lowest of the low in Baldur’s Gate just to bring ruin to our family.”
He frowns, “Well, I am cooperating, I’m answering your questions. But if you think I’m going to accompany you anywhere, you are sorely mistaken.” He shakes off the frown, and waves his hand to the couch across from him. “Kasharra will move, come have a seat if you’d like.”
The spined devil gives a bit of a huff and looks to see if any of you are going to take him up on his offer.

Virro takes a little longer, examining their wings, making them fold in and out, reminded of the chicken wings…he looks for any wounds.

"It's a fiend, and I think it's what killed the birds outside."
His head turns away from Virro, his eyes resting on the spined devil, never leaving it. His feathers ruffle.
