The pirates take position behind their leader, ignoring the team to their own demise. As the IronMaiden spews out their caustic acid, neither pirate in front of her is able to dodge out of the way seeing they had their eyes on Tarina. Dripping with acid, they are most bloodied.
When Wilfred's chair hits the floor with a bang, the pirates near him start to turn to see what the noise was all about, but too late. The one next to him gets a glaive to the carotid and Wilfred smiles realizing what Virro was talking about! The man drops like a stone.
His next swing goes wide as he looks for another target, but hits #4 solidly with the back of it.
Virro steps 5 feet to the northeast and points his hand at the Pirate Captain, he shows his teeth and a vile look appears on his face as he shouts “Rictis”! An ethereal hand shoots out of his glove, seeking to attach itself to the Pirate captain and a second hand (with his reaper ability) seeks out the pirate right behind him, #5.
Chill touch to Captain : 24 to hit 1 necrotic damage. He can’t regain hit points and the hand attaches to his shoulder.
Ironmaiden standing up and still clutching their stomach sees the two pirates covered in burning poison and decides to turn attention toward pirate #3 instead, whipping out their Light hammer the Ironmaiden strikes down with a healthy Bonk on the dudes head (NAT 20! For 24 to hit, 5 bludgeoning damage)
Their breast plate is still emblazoned with the word 'EVACUATE' and their pauldrons still flashing as they ready themselves for the next attack.
Pirate #3, turns and looks at the suit of armor after they hit him over the head with a hammer. He takes his scimitar and attempts to slice at them, but it just bounces off the armor that is telling him to EVACUATE.
Pirate #1 covered in acid, is about to try and remove it... but its too late and it has eaten through enough skin to kill him.
Hearing the solid pound of boot on stair, Corlith takes no chances. He retrieves an orb from his belt pouch, speaks some words of magic and sweeps it from his head to his toe. A brass-like sheen can briefly be seen before it disappears.
And then so much happens at once. The pirates appear drawing swords as Ironmaiden, Wiflred and Virro all go on the offensive. Hi is a little taken back, but tries to recover.
"It is unfortunate you bore arms against us, I would have given you the option to turn yourselves over to the Flaming Fist unharmed, it is true", he says confirming what Wilfred had told them whilst he moves around the table to stand next to Roo'Stor.
"Drop your weapon, order your men to do the same, or there will be no-one left standing to take into custody", he says to the leader, lacing his words with vicious disdain.
Movement: 5ft North West, placing the table between himself and the pirates. Action: Cast Vicious Mockery against the leader - DC 15 Wis Save or take 1 psychic damage and have disadvantage on the next attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.
Reed looks up into the private dining room he's found, with windows to the outside. He's about to call back over his shoulders to the others to keep the noise down or they'll attract attention before they're ready when he realizes that the noise is the pirates. Before he can even get himself turned around the others appear to be already engaged in the battle.
He quickly draws his bow, and nocks an arrow. Reed is about to let loose on the loud-mouthed pirate captain, when he notices the three pirates near the Ironmaiden.
"Well we can't pass up that bit of distraction now, can we," Reed says as he shifts his aim to that group and lets the arrow fly.
(Hit: 25, Damage 5 + Sneak Attack (within 5' of ally) 6 for total of 11 on Pirate 4)
The pirate captain looks at Corlith briefly, his eyes definitely glued on Tarina for the most part, and just as he is about to retort what a ridiculous idea that is.. he winces at the little pain you gave him.
First #4 gets hit with the butt of the polearm and then before he has time to recover, he is dropped by Reed's arrow.
The Captain turns back to Tarina and storms his way to her. Doesn't even see Roo'Stor as he does. With his head still ringing, he misses his first attack. But the second attack with his scimitar hits. (dam 9) Then with his dagger in his other hand, he plunges it deep in her stomach and glares at her in the eyes as she crumbles. (dam 4)
He then spins around to his buddies smiling broadly. "Alright fellas, head on out!"
Wilfred's Glaive swings out when the captain leaves his range, giving him a nasty wound, but doesn't stop him. He watches as the scoundrels blades cut down Tarina "Damn! Medic!" He rushes past his new allies, and and attacks him again with with the glaive, followed with a swing from the butt.
Reaction: Glaive To hit 19, Damage 9 Slashing Action: Glaive To Hit 12, Damage 10 Slashing Bonus Action: Glaive Butt To Hit 17 Damage 5

"WILFRED!" Roo' Stor admonishes, clearly not happy when the warrior doesn't attack the Pirate Captain immediately. "What are you doing?! Is it not common knowledge that the only way to become the dominant rooster and gain control of the hen house is to take out your toughest opponent!? Get....yes! That one! Get that one!"
He leaps into action, running past Wilfred and attacking the Pirate Captain...but not in time to save Tarina.
"Tambourine!" He shouts as he comes leaping off the ground and drawing his short sword. "Hey you! Cluck you! Cluck you! How about you pick on someone your own size you motherclucker!"
He's still shouting obscenities and being obnoxious as he lashes out once, then again, taking advantage of the Captain running past him.
"Stupid motherclucker!" Roo' shouts, still on some fowl mouthed tirade even as he's swinging his sword. "How about I rip your clucking liver out and fry it!?"
He hops up onto the table next to Wilfred, his head cocking fast from side to side as he side-eyes the surviving pirates near the door.
"You dumb clucks better get out of here before I show you your guts!"
As the captain runs past Roo towards his quarry, the bird is able to hit him, but when the rooster jumps up on the table, he is too busy screeching and distracted by Tarina that his swing misses.
The other pirates look around at the situation when Roo'Stor attempts to intimidate them, and the one right at the top of the stairs slowly moves down the stairs, mumbling something about watching the front door.
Pirate #5 sees that the captain is still looking pretty good and after so many of his friends have fallen decides to be like #6 and dodges.
Virro moves forward 1 step to the northwest, and points yet again at the Pirate Captain, but this time, the peal of a low sounding bell happens all around the Pirate. “Last call…”. Virro says with a grim smile.
Virro casts Toll the Dead on the Pirate Captain. DC 13 wisdom save or he takes 5 points of necrotic damage.
As a bonus action, he casts healing word on Tarina for 4 hit points of healing. Virro looks at the pirate and glares at him, saying “Begone with you! Don’t make me drain your blood and defile your corpse!”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The Ironmaiden takes a wild swing at the 'front door checking' pirate as he passes.
(AoO 10 to hit, 6 bludgeoning)
Turning their attention toward the matter at hand, Ironmaiden produces a firebolt ans tosses it lazily at pirate #6 (18 to hit, 5 fire damage) the pirates clothes catch light too as Ironmaiden takes a step toward pirate #5 and taps the evacuate sign in their chest angrily, the pirate behind him screams in pain to punctuate the order. (Persuasion 12)
Corlith watches as the pirate leader strolls passed the group, shrugging off multiple blows and swings at Tarina. He watches as the first attempt misses, the leader was distracted by his words, that was good. But the second swing, that looks vicious. He reaches out with his magic to distract the leader, altering the formula of the universe to bestow bad luck on him and redirect the good fortune to Wilfred.
But it wasn't enough, the blow still connected with Tarina, as did another with his dagger. He watches helplessly as she drops down.
He is aware of the others acting, but his own focus is on the pirate leader, and him alone.
"You will regret that act. There can be no quarter given now", he says and reaches once more into the essence of order, speaking words of magic to manipulate it into a beam of pure cold directed at the pirate leader.
Reaction (previous round): Cast Silvery Barbs on pirate leader, advantage to Wilfred. Action: Cast Ray of Frost at pirate leader. To Hit: 13, Damage: 7 cold - speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of my next turn
Reed hums a simple popular folk song from this village that's usually sung during harvest season to keep spirits up while you work. He almost breaks into song as well but with all the magic being tossed around and loud noises he decides against it.
With his back still to his back up escape route, Reed swings his bow around to the pirate leader and takes aim, timing his shot with all the movement and attacks from his allies who are close to the pirate.
Reed finally lets an arrow loose over top of Roo' Stor's head. As he does he senses his hand slipping on the bowstring, catches himself, aims again and finally lets the arrow fly.
As fires he also suggests to Tarina "You might want to not just stand there and let him stab you again."
Virro tries to toll the bells around the captain but he shakes it off, barely looking at him happy that his job is complete.
Tarina gasps for air as Virro's spell heals her for 4 hps. She looks up seeing the captain and panics.
Pirate #6, attempts to dodge the fire coming from the Ironmaiden, but is unsuccessful. #5 looks at the IronMaiden, but then looks back at the Captain and holds still.
Hearing Corlith, the captain turns towards him, but is able to maneuver away from the frost. He doesn't even notice the arrow that goes wide.
He turns his attention back to Tarina and slashes at her, connecting with his first attack.. "Now stay down."
Wilfred moves to shove the Pirate Captain down to the ground, but he easily sides steps him. "You know, this would be easier if you just stayed still!" He will stumble into the space to the left of the captain.
Action: shoving him prone 7 vs 13 from pirate. Move: Left of the captain.
Pirate #6 finishes patting himself down to extinguish the fire and then turns his glare on the IronMaiden.
He corners them in and swings his scimitar at the armor, but it is deflected and he screams out in frustration, looks at #5, "Will you stop dodging and get this one?!"

"WILFRED!" Roo' admonishes again. He looks flabbergasted as the Captain refuses to go down. "That's not how you do it! Let me show you! BOCK!"
Roo' comes flying off the table, both feet out and aimed at the Captain's face as he aims to kick him in the head and knock him to the floor. He kicks off the Captain and lands back on the table, trying to keep the 'high ground'...
At the squawks beside him, the pirate captain turns just in time to see two taloned feet flying towards his face and quickly puts up his forearm and knocks him back down to the table. "Chicken fighting? Is that we're doing here? Ha!"
Pirate #5, bolstered by #6 tries to attack the Ironmaiden as well. The scimitar finally finds purchase through the suit slicing into them. (Attack 23, Dam 6) He turns to his friend smiling, "Like this?"
