Brutal? Perhaps, logical? By all means. The encounter is hard, yes, but we kinda rushed into it. We didn’t scout the place before hand, we went in without the slightest idea of the number of enemies that could be inside... we didn’t picked into the room and saw how many goblins were there, we didn’t prevented them to run for aid... the thing is deadly beacause in 5e the mosnters has a decent damage vs player lvl ratio. And we got the healing potions that could level the balance a little bit in our favor... I mean, we kind of deserve to get our asses kicked but the fact we didn’t do all of those things? We are unexperienced guys!! XD
Learn from our errors... scout ahead, be prepared.. and don’t leave the spellcasters behind without protection XD

tbf it RPs very well, we are a group of pretty rookie adventurer who are quite cocky or trying to prove themselves and have never worked together. i just love that this all started from little Elsara poking her head in and trying to Elsa the first goblin
(edit: though tbf it could have been halted until Folki launched a stick through one of their faces, my bad...)
To be fair, you guys are pretty well coordinated as far as I've seen. One time, I lost a battle that I had in the bag because my team mate refused to stay hidden. "We are honorable warriors! Hiding is for Rogues (I was the rogue). We ended up getting blasted by powerful sight based spells.
I do understand that sentiment. But it was still frustrating hiding under a table with full HP (Multi-classed into cleric so the damage I did take just went to temp HP from False Life) waiting for the 5 enemies to overwhelm me while the rest of the party was unconscious. Especially since it seemed that being tactical would have ensured victory.
Imagine Gym, both hands clasped together, slamming them into Val's chest, "It's! Not! Yer! Time!"

I just remembered that we're getting paid 30GP for this, and we didn't even need to leave the village. I think out PCs will learn quite a lot from this adventure
Agreed. The moment you delivered Trucy to her father, your quest was technically complete. You could've just take the money (or not. Your choice) and left the goblins alone.
we have managed to have three deaths so far.... i'm loving it :)
3 Deaths?
unconscious
Considering that there is a boss fight left, calling in the goblin reinforcements may have been too brutal...

I respect someone who sticks to their character even though its not tactical

Imma gonna make this canon.
Just a reminder, there are others with potion of healings if they want to get Val up quicker.

We've still got the two greater ones but lets keep those for when shit really hits the fan
You have 1 Healing and 2 Greater healing potions left. The way this is going, I'm really worried about the ensuing boss fight.
I guess it also depends on whether the group wants to attempt a short rest or not. Hit dice are your friends.

**** we never actually got the money! I actually love how clueless our guys are, makes for a much more fun story
