(Right, my bad. Forgot it was already afternoon at this point.)

(It being evening doesn't really affect RPing that much so moving on.)

You all spend 30 minutes getting ready and Ian spends that time fixing some papers that Catherine will sign later. It is... awfully quiet in the Guild Master's room. As time passes, those on the ground floor, main hall hear a "thud" as something seems to hit the floor. However, before you have the time to think about it, Elyza shows up at the Guild. "Everyone ready? Let's go."

Before continuing further, I want to know what your mode of travel will be, Will you be going on foot or take a wagon like last time?

 (You won't need to use rations for this journey Because Folki and Val are both really good at hunting)

Gym will stop what he's doing to study the noise from upstairs, before greeting the doctor. "Well met, I'm Gymgier. Do yeh mind holdin' on for a moment? I'd like to check somethin' out." With that, Gym will make his way upstairs to check out the thud noise. He'll knock on which ever door was closest to the noise. He also doesn't mind if the doctor gets impatient and leaves without him.

Elsara looks as if she is about to go investigate the thud, but when Elyza turns up, she immediately just switches priorities. "Oh, hi again!" She says with a childish wave of her hand. "Oh right, so I guess I should say who everyone is. I'm Elsara, but I told you that before. These are Skiirod, Gen, Gym, Val, and Folki!" She gestures with her hand to each person respectively.

Gym, I think I wasn't able to explain the situation clearly. The thud was a single sound and it didn't come from the ceiling. It came from the floor. As if something hit the other side of the floor beneath you from underground.

Elyza nods and says, "Nice to meet you all." She waits for Gym to do his thing (whatever he does)

(Well, I knew it was a single sound. I guess I mean studying as in listening to see if it'll happen again. Is there a basement to go to instead?)

As far as you know, there is no basement that you've seen. If there is one, it's probably hidden.

(in that case, Gym will go to the general area and use the handle of his mace to knock back one)

"Sooooooooo...." Elsara says, looking to Elyza while swinging her balance back and forth from the ball and heel of her feet. "How much stuff do you need to take? We could rent a cart to get there a little quicker and have plenty of space to take things in."

THUD THUD Two more sounds come from the floor boards. Elyza stares at you confused by the situation. Does Gym have his ear to the floor?

Elyza says to Elsara, "We don't need to take a ton. We just need a jar full of the stuff for research purposes. Though... If we find some corpses, I guess we could take those as well."

[He does not, especially if the noise can be heard without the need to do so]

"Well thats certainly not normal. Does anyone want to alert Ms. Catherine? I'll stay here to see if it moves" He give it another knock for good measure.

(guys maybe slow it down a bit)

"Umm..." Elsara looks to the others. "I don't think that's normal."

(Perception check to narrow down a localised part of the floor the sound is coming from?)

BANG! A much louder sound erupts from the floor. Elsara tries to listen and narrow down the sound. It's coming from around the same area where Gym struck with his mace. Elyza stands there and wonders if she made the right choice. Elsara detects something else. She hears what sounds like giggling. A male and a feminine voice. The carpet muffles the sound so it's really hard to hear it. Especially since there's a much louder banging coming from the floor.

Folki is sitting on the floor getting more and more puzzled and panicked as with each thump the coins around him jump up from the floor

(Ian's still around right?)

"Excuse us just a moment." Elsara says politely to Elyza. She quickly looks to Ian. "Mister Ian, is there a cellar to this place? It sounds like there's a man and a woman making all that racket."

Ian winces a bit at the revelation. "D-Don't concern yourself with that Ms.Elsara. Everything is perfectly fine. The banging is nothing to... worry about. I can easily handle it myself. You guys shouldn't keep a young lady like Ms.Blackthorn waiting you know."

(Will anyone else try hitting the floor? Or Gym)

"Hmm..." Elsara stands on her tip-toes, looking Ian straight in the eye, obviously attempting to read his mind. She knows he hiding information, but what is it...

(Nope, looks like he's perfectly fine dealing with it himself ;-) )

"Well, if you're sure." She says, heading back to the others. "Mister Ian said it's nothing to worry about. Shall we get going then?" She looks to Elyza. "Oh, umm... Why would we want to collect bodies? Are we expecting any baddies to come after us?"
