The bearded Elf says while searching for something from his robe, "Ah yes, I think everything seems to be fine. I don't hear much commotion from outside, at least, nothing out of the ordinary anyway. Ah here it is!" He hands you sack with gold in it. "I couldn't really tell you much about outside. I heard from some of my patients that the goblins are building a guard post here."

Elyza quietly leaves the room.

Elsara waves to Elyza as she leaves. "Oh that. Yeah, the goblins are making trade links with the town. Hopefully it means everyone will get to live together happily."

"Most of the people seem happy. They really appreciate the extra help on field work with this being seeding season. Also, we've had much less trouble with the Bronze Leaf since the goblins showed up. I haven't heard about any injuries caused by bandits. Though I have been getting a few goblin patients with injuries inflicted by guys in dark masks."

"Guys in dark masks..." Elsara echoes. 

(Don't suppose a History check would reveal anything about perhaps any cults that have such attire)

History: 10

“I say that we could pay a visit to Evans and see how things are. And that farmer, what was his name? The father of the girl we came to aid in the first place?” He says to the group.

”Thank you Sir” he says to the Master as if realizing that he is still there. “We and the Guild appreciate your patronage.” 

"Oh yes! Don't mention it. Ah! Where are my manners. I'm Dr. Elias Chronomane. Pleasure to meet you all." He looks at Val for a moment and says, "Young man, have ever saw the guys with handsome facial hair and got envious because we elves can't grow facial hair? If so, I have the solution for you. I developed a magic potion that causes hair grow for people who can't grow one naturally. I used it myself centuries ago. Though it may not look like it but I had a very handsome beard in my youth. Now I don't have the time to trim it and maintain it so my beard looks the way you see it now."

Gym (who has been NPCd until Wibbly gets time to post) sort of feels satisfied (or however a person would feel in this situation) since he has heard about the old Plague Doctor all his life but has never seen him. Elias is regarded as the wisest and the oldest of all the village Elders. He has heard that Elias was around even before Father Torelgen was born. However, Elias never participates in any of the village meetings and rather keeps to himself in his house. Neither Gym nor Hunin has seen Elias. Usually no one in the village got infected by any illness that the local Clerics of Lathander couldn't cure. They very few people who had, Young Torelgen being one of these people, caught something that nasty were the only ones to see the old Elf. So this is the first time Gym and Hunin have seen Chronomane.

Elsara, you don't recall ever hearing about a cult that wears black masks.

Elyza returns to the room at this point with a large old tome in hand. It is very old and appears to be 200 years old. She hands the dusty tome to Elsara and says, "This is my copy of the Plague Doctor's Encyclopedia 8th Edition. I have the latest one so I don't need it. You can have it."

Elsara's eyes beam at the gift. "Really!?" She says with childish glee, taking the book. "Thank you very much. Umm..." Elsara gestures to give Elyza a hug, but doesn't immediately jump on her due to the whole plague doctor garb and not wanting to accidentally rip anything.

Elyza just stands there and doesn't give Elsara a hug.

Seeing Elyza's unwillingness to have a hug, Elsara just holds her hand out to shake instead, trying to play it off cool. but internally sad that she didn't get a hug.

Valwarin seems surprised by the old elf offering.

”Ehhm hum no thanks... I am fine... thanks” 

Elias looks outside and says, "It's quite dark now. Would you like to spend the night here? I have plenty of room."

"Dr. Elisa thank you for all that you do. I know we have never met but you were great an influence in my mothers life. I am thankful that you are sharing you wisdom with others and Elyza thank you for learning this trade."

Hunin will be on the look out to see if he sees a particular goblin in and around the area.

Will Hunin leave the house to look for the Goblin or is he just scanning the outside from the window. If it's the later, all you see is trees because Elias's window faces the forest. When you and the party were walking around town, Hunin did not see the goblin he's looking for.

Hunin will stay with  party in the house. Just curious if he saw anything as they were headed in. Not going out of his way looking more of a curious thought as he sees Goblins doing work around the town.

“It is ok says Val I will prefer to sleep in the forest but thank you anyway... “ he says and goes out looking for Evans before actually going to sleep to the forest, but not too far from the doctor house and his friends. He just want to check in Evans before call it a night. 

Val, after looking around, you are told by the goblins patrolling the village that Evans is still back at the Goblin base in the forest. The operations in the village are being managed by Lieutenant Vladimir. He's in the new, shabbily built hut with metal windows that's located at the edge of town. You can talk to him since he's in charge.

Val will go to see Vladimir.

Val knocks on the door to the hut. A goblin opens the door and says, "Yes?"

”Greetings!. I am here to see Vladimir. Could you guide me to him please?” 

Val, you hear a stern voice come from inside the hut. "Who is it?" "Sir, it's an elf who wants to see you." "Well, open the door." The door opens wide and you see at least 6 goblins in the hut. All of the goblins have weapons and armor. At the back of the hut sits Vladimir. He looks at you and says, "Hey, aren't you one of the guys who got the villagers to trade with use? What can I do for you?" All the other goblins seem to relax a bit as Vladimir says this.
