The claw slashes the zombified dragon directs at Sae are much slower this time, and she twists away from them with no more than a shallow graze across her right arm. She steadies herself in the water and looks over the situation. Areleo had followed up superbly on the distraction she'd created, and the beast they'd been fighting looked like it was more than ready to retire back to ... wherever dragons go when they die. The second dragon was still fighting, but their other comrades had gotten in some telling blows against it too and ... Who was that by the rock?! Sae's attention suddenly goes into full alert as she realizes a completely unknown factor has somehow, from who knows where, now entered the battle.

His mind was focused on the battle. So much so that he failed to notice any sign of new presence. His mind was filled with thoughts about what would happened if they had thought the dragons later. Whatever waited for the group in the cave, Emrys was sure it wouldn’t be easy. It was likely they would be hurt and tired on the way back and fighting those two undead in such conditions was far from a good idea. Maybe, just maybe, the battle now was one they could not afford to leave for later. It’s still happening because of my mistake.
Goldenleaf wanted to say something, anything, to his companions. Compared to them he was in complete safety. It was not fair, but then again, life rarely was. In the end he could not find useful words, at least not beyond his incantations. Whispering in an incomprehensible tongue he raised the focus once again, repeating the same tactic used from the start of the confront – Eldritch Blast and Tentacles from the Deeps echoed each other, targeting a single enemy, the one that looked weaker.
“Really?” Emrys complained as only the first of the three offensives hit the mark and even then with little to show in the way of potency. Who said that halflings were lucky?
Notes: Emrys spends his bonus action to attack the "most hurt" dragon Tentacle of the Deeps (12 to hit and damage not even rolled). He then spends his action to cast Eldritch Blast, aiming both beams on the same target (22 to hit and 6 Force damage, 12 to hit and damage not even rolled). He then ducks behind his cover (no movement used). All attacks against the same target, all dice rolled on the campaign log.
With a mighty swing, Areleo brings his red-hot blade down on the undead dragon! With one final screech, its brittle bones finally give out. Its spine breaks in half, and the two pieces fall to the cave floor. Both halves twitch for a moment, but the damage is two great. The dark spirit animating the bones leaves, and the cadaver goes limp.
But Areleo isn't done! No sooner is the first dragon slain than he darts towards the second, slashing at it with his red-hot blade! The water around the sword bubbles from the intense heat, and the cut is enough to very nearly sever one of the dragon's rotten wings!
Emrys, seeing one dragon dead and the other taking several vicious hits, follows up with his eldritch powers... one of which hits the creature!

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Maira takes a deep breath, letting the fear she's been feeling for so long now fade away, and reaching for the magic she can feel pulsating all around her. "Hey ugly!" She barks, projecting her voice like her music teachers had taught her. She waits for the last dragon to turn its eyes on her, and when she does she lets out a scornful, maybe even slightly deranged laugh. "You think you're so strong? You think your master put you here to guard his tomb because you were the strongest of his servants? I hate to do this to you, but I feel I must tell you the truth--he put you out here because he was saving his strongest servants for the tomb itself, and he left you, the scrawny RUNTS of the litter, out here, to be first in line to get slaughtered!"
Almost forgot Yevelda... the frenzied half-orc barbarian attempts to strike the remaining dragon three times with her greataxe (attacking recklessly to murder it fast as she can...)

Sayyida looked well chuffed, " Nicely done folks.....though if we could manage not getting ripped up quite so much next time......still, Dragon Slayers....thats a notch on the belt."
" Ok....not so much slayers as they were already dead..."
She continued smiling but turned towards the newcomer with her blade drawn, " And you are?"
(OOC: I'll go ahead and try to keep things moving... I haven't heard from Faselina in a couple of days. Hopefully she'll tell me what's going on soon, but in the meantime you guys have a sunken dungeon to explore)
The newcomer is an aquatic half-elf. She looks scared and bedraggled... but she does her best to explain quickly what happened. She happened upon this cavern while exploring the wonders of the undersea and decided to check inside, only to be set upon by the two undead dragons that you just defeated. She was forced to retreat deeper into the cave to avoid them, only to find that the rest of the cave was also full of undead abominations. Since then she's been huddled inside of a leomund's tiny hut hoping that she could find a way past the zombie dragons before she ran out of food.

He approached fast as the battle ended, faster than anyone there, even Arleo, was likely to be. An strange inversion of speed in comparison to his battles on land. The history of the half sea-elf was unbelievable, until he looked at the two skeletons. A compared to them what was coincidence. Besides, Sae would have told something if the tale was inconsistent.
“Normally I would say for everyone to treat any more serious wounds but it may be better to reach a dry point before touching a potion so unless someone has experience harvesting game and wants some scales or bones…” He then took the magic coin given by the Admiral from his pocket. “Do you recognize it?” Emrys asked the newcomer. If she was working for North she was sure to react. Otherwise… Why would Hailstorm send someone alone there, before them? “We are moving deeper inside to retrieve an item. You are welcome to help and will be given a fair share of any loot we may get besides it. That said we do not trust you so if you come, you’ll be surrounded by us and should you try anything suspicious you will regret not letting the rotting boys eat us. If you cannot agree to the terms leave now, as we watch.”
Whatever her answer he agrees with Sayyida suggestion of moving ahead.
Maira speaks up at last, swimming into the middle of the group to get everyone's attention, although she immediately shrinks into herself in embarrassment once she has it. "Before we go on...I would have died down here if not for you. Thank you, for saving my life." You can clearly see tears shining in her eyes and hear the lump in her throat as she speaks, even though there is water all around you already. She would go up to each person individually and say in her sweet, soft voice, "I'm Maira (MEe-ruh). I am so, so happy to meet you." And gaze at you with deep gratitude and admiration while extending her hand for you to shake. If you let her, she will also clasp your hand in both of hers, squeeze it, and murmur a choked, "thank you" again before she lets you go.
She turns to Emrys and shakes her head at him. No, I have never seen anything like that before...I'm sorry I can't be of more help." She pauses, bites her lip, then continues, turning to include the rest of the party in the conversation as well, "I...actually came here in search of treasure of a very different kind than most." A self-conscious smile screws up her face as she continues. " I am...very interested in the people who came to this region before us. How they lived and worked, and how they saw the world and the things they knew. I wonder...I hope...if they might know more than we do about our own oceans, and might even be able to tell us how we might solve the ever-present problems all our civilizations--" turning to Areleo with a nod of respect--"must contend with right now." She smiles shyly at everyone, as if suddenly recalling she's being watched by several pairs of eyes, and murmurs "I just though you all deserved a thorough, honest, explanation after everything you've done for me." And falls silent again, staring distractedly around her at the cavern walls and humming to herself when her input is not required.
