*aight lads I'm really sorry, I've had a lot going on irl and haven't been able to run this properly. I've got the time now, so feel free to make moves and get this ball rolling properly.
As you wait on the far side of the ravine, wondering what steps to take next, you catch movement down at the fortress. Bodies moving away from the walls, seige weapons being dismantled. They're leaving? In a matter of just half an hour, the palace is abandoned, empty of the gang who'd been prepared to defend it. The gates lie open, welcoming you all in.

Aovin spares pretty much 0 thought to this odd happening, entering the palace.
Beyond these walls lies the courtyard. Bones from the crumbling wall are scattered across this space & as you pass through it you spy two smashed statues of flinds. A few ashes of campfires smoulder, still warm
Set into the cliff is a keep, formed of a series of great halls with a turreted tower to its eastern side. Much of it is in a sorry state, stonework falling away to expose the exoskeleton of the building.
Entering into the halls, through another huge carved door, they see a plastic frog chair up on the dais of the high table. Smashed flagstones in the room's centre reveal a trapdoor leading down and into the cliff. The great hall has a doorway behind the throne, which leads to the turreted tower. There's another door at the back which leads to a hallway.

Aovin hums to himself, seeming more relaxed ad he heads down the hallway in the back
In the hall a disguised staircase leads down to the kitchens and servant quarters. Archways open onto a huge war room, with maps of the Abyss, Styx and Avernus rolled up in one corner, and another leads to the attached barracks. A destroyed staircase would have led up to a second level.
The trapdoor passageway leads into a maze of tunnels carved into the rock. A soft thrum of magic buzzes in Aovin's chest, from deeper into the maze.
