"No offense to you Alethra, but perhaps you shouldn't go to the store? People tend not to sell to people who have hit their child." He looks at the group, considering. "Maybe we can split up? Some of us go to the store, and the rest go around town looking for some work for us?"
So split the party? Whos going to the Shop and who is going to find work?

Clarity nods at the two. "I'll go with you as well. Don't know how well people here'll take a tiefling running around by themself," she mutters through a bite of egg. After swallowing, she gestures at Logan. "Not to pry, but what were you writing there a second ago?"
"Hmm?" he looks back to her and quickly finishes the mouthful of cheese, "Oh, just some notes.. more like thoughts.. on new spells I could attempt at some point." he swirls his drink, "I don't book learn this stuff.. it sort of just comes to me." he pauses, "Sometimes explosively."

Logan gives Clarify a bit of a smirk in return, "Well, it has been somewhat destructive in the past. So much so that I had to leave civilization for a time." he raises the hand closest to her, turning his wrist and moving his fingers as if he's feeling something in the air, "Sometimes it just wants out." a very slight spark travels between his fingers before he closes his fist, snuffing it out.
This close now, Clarity would have a pretty good look at the very fine, shiny pattern on the back of his hand and fingers. It looks a bit like scales.

Clarity's eyes slowly trace the morning light playing on the scaly surface on the back of Logan's hand. After a minute, she responds without looking back up, "Something....that acts on its own...Have better ways of controlling it now, I assume?"
Logan lowers his hand to the table, "There's no independant action there, but it is power. Raw power, inside," he taps his chest, "wanting to get out. To be weilded. It can take effort to contain sometimes. But you learn."

Samson, Logan and Clarity. One of you make a Perception check with advantage because of the aid of the others to find the shop Cas had spoken about the night before.
Alethra, Geoffrey will be accompanying you. Make a Investigation check to look for work around the town.

Thanks to Alethras directions. Samson leads Logan and clarity to a small, Brick building. Quaint but definitely different from the surrounding wooden buildings. There is smoke billowing from the stone chimney and the door is open.
Alethra and Geoffrey, asking around town you find a few people looking for help with building a storage room or finding a lost dog. Nothing of extreme importance jumps out to the both of you. You do come across a notice board, similar to the one you met in front of. There is currently no postings on the board other then the one concerning Red Hood.

"Hit her with the door." Alethra pauses. "On second thought, I'll wait outside if we go."
Logan tries not to smirk too much as he shakes his head, "Yes, or just let someone else operate doors."

Logan shrugs, "That's alright with me." he munches on some bacon with a happy look on his face.

So split the party? Whos going to the Shop and who is going to find work?
"That's reasonable. Just remember me when splitting the cost."
Alethra will find work in the city.
"I think I'll go to the shop. I need to pick up some warmer clothes now that it's snowing anyway." Samson looks to see who'll join him.
Logan lifts a hand for a second, "I'll hit the shop too, I suppose."

(If he finds it)"Not too hard to find. Alethra's directions were quite good."

Samson goes in to the shop, knocking on the door. "Hello? Pardon the intrusion."
Logan peers into the shop, giving his boots a kick outside to knock off some snow before walking in.
