Clarity shrugs in response. "Why not, doing it now saves us precious time later. I'm a rogue by trade, consider myself pretty adept at sneaking around and making use out of the environment, don't mind sticking knives in a few heads if it comes to it," she says between mouthfuls of food.
"I got a small crossbow, an ax, a small hammer, and a fine-tuned, well-crafted device called a thunder cannon. It's a gun in the barest sense of the word but its so much more. I also have repairing magic and can detect magic, along with identifying artifacts."
Geoffrey places his elbow on the table, "As you've no doubt guessed by now, I spent some time with the Legion." He taps the blacked out vambrace on his arm, a rose with two elongated thorns piercing it stitched into the leather. "So I've the tools of trade of the solider." He rests his hand on the longsword on his hip and knocks on the shield resting against the bar next to him. "But I left the Legion because I felt called to something bigger. Greater. Than any of that. I'm still not sure what it is, but I know something out there is messing with the balance of this world and I've got to play a part in maintaining the balance."
He runs a hand through his short cut hair, "I know it sounds kinda crazy. But ever since leaving the legion for this new calling, I've gained some abilities I didn't have before. I can heal some minor wounds and I can sense out evil. It's why I am going after this Red Hand. And don't worry about the reward. I'm not in this for the gold."

I've been lenient with the 1 to 2 posts per day rule up until now as It is a new Campaign. I wanted you all to get comfortable with each other and Figure out what exactly is going on. I understand that everyone has different schedules and Live in different Time zones. However as of Monday, august 13th 2018 I will be enforcing the 1 to 2 posts per day rule.
If you cannot commit to this because of your schedule let me know and the proper actions will be taken. Up until now I've only really gotten a true sense of interest in the Campaign from 3 of 6 players. This is not a number Im happy with, I want all players to be genuinely interested in telling this story with me and experiencing this world I've put time into developing.
Rules are available for your Viewing in the campaign page and have been for 4 days now. I apologize if this is coming off as mean or arrogant that is not my intention. I simply want Players who are willing to participate and show interest in not only the world but the other players as well.

"As your friend here states, I don't think we need to take any time to worry about going out to speak with the 11th. We aren't going to get anymore information from them that I didn't already get from Fredrick. I think we should begin to head up towards the thicket." he yawns stretching out his stiff shoulders from a night stretched out in a chair. "Besides, we'll likely run into more members of the 11th and maybe the 6th on our way there. They should have heard one way or another. Though you might want someone other than me doing the questioning. Unless it's an old comrade, they aren't likely to greet me with open arms. Leaving the Rose isn't something that is normally done unless you are dead or retired."

"It'll be fine," assures Samson. "If need be, I can usually be quite persuasive. Well then, if we know where to go, let's finish up breakfast and head out!" He goes back to his food, eats it like the basic meal it is, and when everyone is done, he heads to the door humming a marching tune.
Scooping one last spoonful of food into her mouth, Clarity makes her way out the door. Turning back to Geoffrey, she gestures at the town before them. "You might not want to talk, but you sound like you know where you're going. Lead the way?"
The breakfast is on the house, an apology for the night before. Opening the door to the inn you are met by a Sea of White. With the storm raging on until early morning, Everything is covered in a good 3 inches of snow. Your breath still clings to the air and clouds are still blotting the sky but they are beginning to move west with the early morning winds. patches of blue sky are visible with rays of sunshine poking threw.
The ground has a hard crust of frost on it as you move together, heading north to the Shallow step Thicket. Footsteps of the early risers of the town are appearent in the snow, Smoke from various chimneys is all you can smell. Walking to the bounty board and making a left, you follow the road north and out of town. By now the sky has cleared and the Sun is shining on this cold day. The rays catching the snow every so often, Making a slight shine to it in some cases. The snow is bright and hard on the eyes, you find yourselves squinting from time to time just to readjust your vision.
3 hours of walking north along the rock laid path and you finally come to the Shallow Step Thicket. A Burnt forest, the trees while plentiful are long dead. There is a path threw the Thicket but it is in severe disuse, Fallen trees clutter the path. The sun is still able to poke threw the bare branches but the air is colder in the thicket.
Silas you feel much more at home among the trees and begin to step into the lead of the group.
Make a Perception check Silas.

Samson slowly stops humming, and if anyone's paying attention, they'll see that he's very uncomfortable on this path. His hand also hovers quite close to his sword as he walks.
Geoffrey frowns as they begin to enter the forest, their footsteps crunching through the snow. With their frozen creaks and groans the dead trees reminds him of so many dancing skeletons. "This seems is a place of great imbalance," he mutters.
Clarity steps over near Logan, eyes narrowed against the bright white snow. "I wouldn't discount the possibility of magic. If it was natural you'd think someone in town would've noticed the fog of smoke moving towards them."
