Navi was happy where she was, and didn't feel the need to 'look into her future' by following the mirrors. She could understand why they were enticing, and the fact that it was a long line kind of felt encouraging in a weird way. This Navi's reflection may look a little lost, but somewhere along the way of trying to find herself, she's met so many new friends. They even helped to show her the way! The little fairy's wings would flutter and she'd reach forward to boop the nose of her reflection (touches the mirror).
Faelan performs his duties as he has done for as long as he can remember. He is just waiting for the exact moment to turn off the spotlight to cause the most embarrassment for the bosses. Well, at least that's the plan at any rate.

Zeg and Flynn do their thing. Having received the nod of agreement from the raven, Zeg launches from the peak of the Big Top and out into the open area at the back, just beside the river. Even though most of the carnival-goers are inside the Big Top watching the show, there are still several milling around outside and throughout the grounds, so the area out the back seems the least public. Turning back, Zeg looks to see if Flynn-Raven actually followed, and whether he will follow Zeg's instructions...

Navi touches the mirror, and the image flickers briefly. But her attention is drawn away for a moment as she discovers the eerie silence broken, and she hears a voice from further within the Hall. It sounds like two children talking softly, although too muffled for Navi to make out the words.

Faelan waits until after several brave audience members take the offered opportunity to perform their own acts. Several of the imprompty performances are less than impressive, with some clearly lacking any talent but simply stealing their moment in the spotlight, but the audience generally responds in a good-natured way. Two acts do in fact show some merit, with one young elf creating some impressive illusions and interacting with them in novel and realistic ways, while a middle-aged gnome woman garnered lots of laughs by repeatedly vanishing in a small puff of smoke and reappearing at odd places throughout the arena, including amongst the audience as well as high up near the trapeze stands. But Faelan knows that the Grand Finale is the moment that would cause greatest consternation to the organisers, and so he patiently waits.
Finally Mr Light appears in the ring one more time, with Mr Witch waddling out behind him, along with a somewhat subdued-looking Burly, who must have resumed his place in the order of events after carrying out Faelan's orders. Thank you, ladies and gentleman, Mr Light's magically amplified voice echoes throughout the tent. We hope you have enjoyed the show. Please join us again just before the end of the eighth hour as we gather to elect and crown our Witchlight Monarch - that guest amongst all tonight's guests who has shown the greatest zeal and energy, who has done the most to contribute to the joy of tonight's Witchlight Carnival.... And now, to conclude tonight's Extravaganza...

"Come on! Move on willya!" Faelan screams in his head about the folks that, in his view, should not even be allowed into the Carnival, let alone try to perform in the Big Tent. "Ohh... That's cute!" He thinks about the young end, and then. "Man, I gotta know how to pull that off!" about the middle-aged gnome. He gives a sigh of relief when the Grand Finale approaches. He gives the OK sign to all the folks manning the spotlights, then when Mr. Light finishes his speech, he screams. "Now!"
Right after all the spotlights turns off, he rapidly goes down to the Big Tent's ground from the rope attached next to his spotlight, and with a couple of hops, he's right next to Mr. Light. "Ah'm really sorry Mista Light, but we gotta go to the other side. You tell me the secret, and ah swear to mah mamah's soul, that you ain't gonna see me again. The conflicting thoughts of looking for shinies and of flying directly toward the ground, along with the novelty of being spoken to by Zeg in bird-speak, are sufficient distractions for Flynn-raven that he hits the ground with a painful thud. It would be enough to knock a normal raven out, but this is no normal raven. With a soft pop! and a bursr of black feathers, to Zeg's relief the original form of Flynn the non-composing-bard again takes shape, laying prostrate on the dusty ground.
Navi
Navi continues flitting down the hall, taking no further notice of the images in the mirrors beside her. As the corridor continues to bend, the voices get gradually more distinct, until finally the little fairy spies the halfling, standing in front of a mirror just ahead, with arm outstretched, apparently speaking to his own reflection. Tear-marks streak his face, and have caused his festive butterfly face-paint to run.
As Navi approaches closer, she manages to catch a glimpse of the halfling's reflection in the mirror. He looks like a much older and more mature version of himself, with a confident posture and fine clothing. But another image is in the mirror... the mature halfling is holding the hand of the girl in the pig mask! No girl can be seen on Navi's side of the mirror - she is only visible on the image within. The halfling doesn't seem to notice Navi, or if he does, he pays her no heed as he steps forward and through the surface of the mirror!
Navi reaches the spot moments later, and can see that the mirror holds no reflection of herself, but only an image of Sowpig holding hands with the young halfling (who now looks like his current self, complete with tear-streaked face paint. Both of them appear to be standing in a fine green meadow, bedecked with bright flowers in full sunlight. Both look back toward Navi as though seeing her through the surface of the mirror. for the first time. The girl betrays no expression but simply turns as if to walk away across the meadow. The halfling however pauses and remains looking at Navi, as if he is contemplating saying something...
Faelan
The lights go out! Faelan has barely begun to swing down from the rope when he hears a loud BANG! from somewhere near the peak of the tent. There are screams from the crowd, but nothing untoward eventuates, and Faelan continues on. He barely reaches the ground when another surprise occurs: Mister Light begins to glow a soft purple color, and no more than twenty feet away, he sees a slightly-confused Mister Witch also start to glow purple. It must be more of their elven magic!
Hopping up to the glowing Mister Light, Faelan delivers his desperate plea. Unfortunately it once again seems to fall on unwilling pointy ears, and again the slender elf dons a mask of rage. Scamp! Troll! Ingrate! he cries. He raises his weather-vane wand as if to cast another spell, just as he did to Flynn. Then suddenly... he falls down to the arena floor and begins to snore! Cries of alarm can also be heard from the nearby Mister Witch, who seems to be searching his pockets for something. The crowd watch with silent awe, wondering what manner of act constitutes this Grand Finale...
Jack the spotlight operator emerges from the gloom. Obstinate old bugger, aint he? he mutters in Candlefoot's voice. He walks over calmly, reaches down and plucks the wand from Mister Light's sleeping hand, then passes it to Faelan, along with the pocket-watch that Mister Witch always carries. Here! Zeg lands beside Flynn. "OK, that's done. Now lets get going, we need to head into the big tent and find Faelan and find out what's going on. Lets go!" Zeg helps Flynn up off the ground and guides him towards the entrance to the big tent.
"No, I don't know where she got to. We've all been split up since the encounter at the wagons. But I know Faelan will be at the big top tent so lets start there." Zeg says in reply to Flynn's question as he hurries to the entrance.
Navi’s head would tilt in gentle confusion at first when she wouldn’t see herself in the mirror. When her eyes adjust and she realizes what she’s seeing, she waves at the halfling almost immediately. It was more out of instinctual habit than her recognizing them. However, something clicks in her brain as she’s reminded that she’s looking for a halfling. Naturally, she smiles an inviting dimpled smile. “Hi there! I’ve been asked to find you and bring you home. Your other half misses you.” The little fairy absentmindedly reaches her hand out to offer it to them.
The commotion in the Big Top increases as the crowd begin to realise that the antics on the main floor are not part of any act. There are but two official entrances to the Big Top - one for the public, and one for the performers. Faelan considers leaving through the performers' exit, but knows that will take him back inside the hedge area. So instead of going out the public entrance, he slips in between the bleachers and tries to slide out the small gap at the bottom edge of the tent wall. The last thing he hears is Candlefoot's voice, raised to an unnatural level, taunting Mr Witch with all manner of insults to the mixed amusement and disgust of the crowd. It would seem that Kettlesteam the kenku is attempting to give Faelan a bit more time to flee.
Zeg & Flynn
Zeg and Flynn head toward the door of the Big Top, hearing unusual sounds from within. To their surprise however, before reaching the front entrance, they see a commotion at the side of the tent, as a small ball of light whizzes around two large rabbit ears, which are attached to a struggling harengon attempting to slide out through the gap between the wall and the base of the tent...
Navi
The halfling stays put, still holding Sowpig's hand, but looking back to Navi. With a quavering voice he says:
She asked me if I had any regrets... and told me she knew someone who could help...Tell Ween... I'm sorry...
With his other hand, he tosses something to the ground (it lands with a metallic 'clink' on the yellow brick path that divides the meadow) and then turns and walks away, hand-in-hand with Sowpig, across the bright meadow, the halfling and the pig-faced girl looking like two children. The image starts to shimmer and fade, but before it disappears completely, the discarded object bounces along the path and falls back out of the mirror at Navi's feet. As the mirror turns back into a mirror once more (with Navi's mature-age image reflected within) she looks down and sees a simple golden engagement ring.

Zeg also rushes forward to help pull Faelan from the tent. "Yeah, I think I got some leverage also, so now what? I don't know where Navi is either. She is a bit... flighty. Who knows what distracted her or where she has gone."
It seems like mere moments that Faelan emerged from the tent and reunited with Zeg and Flynn, but apparently that's all the time it took for word to spread and people to mobilise. Within seconds, spectators from within the Big Top come swarming out the entrance, spot the three companions, and surge toward them. Before the three have time to flee, they are surrounded on three sides, with more curious faces appearing from the underside of the tent wall, whence Faelan fled. The din of excited voices is almost overwhelming with jeers and cheers mixed with angry insults and jubilant hooting. Clearly the antics within the Big Top certainly made an impact on the crowd, for good or ill.
Presently the raucous begins to die down and the crowd parts as Misters Witch and Light stride toward Faelan, with Burly's bulky form trailing along behind them. The rotund Witch fumes darkly and glares at Faelan, but Light has woken from his brief magical slumber and has resumed his air of extravagant showmanship, and croons to the crowd as much as to the three captives:
Well, well, that was quite the show, wasn't it ladies and gentleman? My, my! Didn't our furry friend here save the best impromptu act for last! Bravo! I confess I've not seen the like in all my years. Thank you all for attending, and I do hope you will join us again at the eighth hour for the Crowning of the Witchlight Monarch! Until then...! He performs an exaggerated wave and bow, but if Mister Light was expecting that to satisfy and disperse the crowd, he was mistaken. Every last man, woman and child remains fixed and staring, waiting to see what happens next...
With a frustrated sigh and a forced smile to the crowd, Mister Light whirls back around and looks down at Faelan. In a much more subdued voice he says: Good show, Cottontail. But the fun is over now. Hand me back my Vane if you will. And with that he holds out one hand, gesturing for the wand to be handed to him promptly. Mister Witch looms nearby, and the crowd watches on with bated breath.

Flynn fills the bag and sets the pipes.on a steady drone. Then lowly "what this little thing? Pointing the tip of the want at Mr Light from under the bag
"Well that remains to be seen on how cooperative you can be you see I'm getting a bit desperate and I'm thinking ive.figured out how this works enough to get perfectly creative with you. Now do we want to take this conversation somewhere like say near the mirrors?"
While.speaking Flynn casts minor illusion on himself.causing the shadows around him to deepen
