Faelan fights and fairy flutters, and though Navi manages to shake off some of the caked clay, she and Faelan remain stuck. Flynn however manages to wriggle his way out of all the dried vomit at once, as the mephit he whispered sweet nothings to just crumbles at his words.
The two mephitis that Zeg stroked with a moonbeam, and the one that Flynn whispered to death splat into the marsh, creating large bubbles of mud that pop and splatter all over the two.

Side note: I just discovered that I can create and run encounters within the campaign page itself, which allows me to make creature rolls in the game log, which I've done for this round. Some rolls didn't show up, but I've figured out now how to broadcast them to everyone by default.
Out of 9 mephits, five of them managed to roll a 6 on their mud breath recharge. Five 6s in 9 rolls... what a shame I wasn't rolling character stats.

Navi’s eyes narrow. She was not amused. They almost knocked out Hot Daddy! “That’s it.” She tries to throw her arms down at her side. The metaphorical gloves were coming off. “Nobody beats on my baby daddies!” The little fairy flutters her wings as hard as she can to break out of her muddy chains. “Ooo you’ve made me mad.” She flutters and flutters as if spinning in place, trying to roll up her muddy sleeves. It was time she saw red. She holds her hands up the best she can, and flames erupt from her palms.

Somehow through the never-ending gouts of mud, Zeg manages to angle the moonbeam to illuminate not only the remaining mephit in front of the owlin, but the two accosting Navi. The exertion is too much for the three wicked elementals, and each crumble to the dust, with yet more mud exploding from their corpses. Flynn issues yet another verbal tirade, and it seems this is the last straw, for the mephit and its remaining three cronies decide to cut their losses and flee. All four sink back into the marshy ground, and with only a few ripples to mark their passing, they are gone.
Mud. Mud. Mud. Both wet and dry, but all with the heavy smell of decay mixed with the noxious odor of bad eggs. Faelan alone remains free to move, and is able to help the others to shake off the remaining filth. But even then the residual grime coating the entire party makes them appear like mud monsters themselves, and there isn't a clear pool of water in sight to wash in. Looking at each other, mud-covered and standing in a marsh... this certainly doesn't match the Prismeer advertised at the Witchlight Carnival.
The caged fairy dragon was impotent to help in the fray, despite being affected herself, but apparently observed the whole ordeal. That was some impressive magic. Thank you all, she says to all the group, and then addressing Navi she adds: I sense your powers come from a deity. Whom do you worship? I myself am a devotee of several gods from different worlds, all of whom uphold Truth as their reigning virtue.
Navi would inspect the egg for any cracks, the best she can in the muddy aftermath, and mend any rips or tears in the blanket she’s using as a carrier. She’d also bloom some flowers to braid some matching crowns for her and the egg.
”I’m still practically fresh as a daisy!” The little mud ball of a fairy states as she adorns her crown. “I may not have the mighty sneeze left in the tank, but I got plenty of gas!” She flexes. The ripples and mud bubble pops weren’t her. This time.
When their little dragon friend would speak up, Navi would beam from her praise. “Oh!” She tries her best to show her Holy Symbol, only for her to keep smearing mud around. “Celestian, god of stars and wanderers.” Her smile was a bit sheepish. “I was the light that’d guide the way for the lost.”
Oh dear. I am sorry, but I still cannot understand you. I do hope that wears off soon. Mercion apologises as she realises she asked a question of the fairy who is still under the effects of the marsh gas. Flynn on the other hand can still converse normally with Navi and understand her reply. The faerie dragon bows its head toward Navi, then again to the rest of the group. Thank you again everyone for your protection. I am sorry to burden you. Let us depart for this hill of which has been spoken.
Shaking off as much of the mud as possible, the group continues on their way. The damp ground, gnarled trees, mist and low scrub continues for another hour or so, during which time the effect of the marsh gas wears off and both Flynn and Navi are able to converse again. Mercion repeats her question to Navi and receives the answer given, to which she replies: A guide for the lost... we could certainly use that. Well then, on your behalf I praise this Celestian also, and pray we will find our way.
Soon the ground begins to rise in a gentle upward slope, and the soft marshy ground is replaced with a damp, downy, blanket of silvery-green moss, and the scraggy trees with graceful willows. The ground continues to rise and the trees become more numerous, until the group find themselves following what appears to be a wide game trail climbing the slope, with soft whispering from the gently swaying willows (although no breeze can be felt, not does the thick fog lessen). Certainly this seems to be the first sign of anything like a hill that the travelers have encountered so far.
As the group climbs the trees become more dense, the trail narrower, and the whispering grows more insistent. In fact Zeg gets the impression that the change in density of the willows is greater than what one should expect from this kind of tree, and Flynn gets a sense that he can hear the odd word or two among the whispering. Faelan gets a sense of being watched, while Navi... senses nothing but just flitters along on her merry way.
All of a sudden the trail seems to simply end in a dense thicket of willows, too closely crowded to be natural. The whispering takes on clearly audible sounds, which whisper in the Common tongue (rather than Sylvan): Welcome, travelers, to Telemy Hill. What is the purpose of your visit, and how long do you intend to stay?

Jingle-Jangle. Jingle-Jangle. Jingle-Jangle. The willows all seems to whisper the same phrase over and over, speaking over the top of each other so that the sound becomes like one continuous hush, as the rustling of the branches by the breeze. Gradually this dies away and the singular whisper returns:
Jingle-Jangle is our friend. Bring peace and comfort, and you may pass. Bring harm or grief, and you shall not depart alive.
Then without any hint of movement from the trees, the trail ahead appears once more, as though it had been there all along but just overlooked. Following the trail, the ground begins to become rocky, until the path winds through some deep crags. The trees continue to throng the trail, even apparently growing amongst and out of the rocks, and looming over the trail from the higher rock faces like vigilant guardians. Inside the cave entrance, worn stone steps lead down into what feels like a cellar. The air is colder inside, and carries the subtle scent of iron. Clink-clink-clink. The sound gets louder, and there is a sense of an approaching presence. Clink-clink-clink. A figure emerges from the gloom: a small humanoid wearing chain mail armor? no, it's a goblin wearing a coat made from metal keys, and carrying a flail with padlocks for heads.
