In the celestial palace of Tyr, the god of justice gleams with an otherworldly radiance. Golden pillars stretch towards the sky, and divine energies pulse through the air. Tyr, adorned in majestic armor, sits in his shining throne, contemplating.
Thud.
The sound of a footstep echos through the hall, and then all is quite.
Tyr hears all. This step is not from any mortal, nor any god. Nor does it yield from this plane. It comes from a demiplane, one that's been long dormant. It rings through the halls, carrying enough presence and resonance to reach mount celestia, and bring a worried look to Tyr's face. "No."
In the depths of the Abyss, where shadows dance and demons dwell, Asmodeus, the god of evil, the devil himself, sits upon a throne of obsidian. The air is thick with the essence of malevolence, and the flickering flames cast eerie shadows upon the visage of the demon king.
Thud.
For one, brief second, fear flashes through the evil god Asmodeus's eyes. At the awakening of this creature, even the devil utters. "Shit, he's up again."
"Those kids have gone and woken him up."
"The Lockkeeper stirs..."
╠══════𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔾𝕣𝕖𝕪𝕃𝕠𝕔𝕜══════╣ ⊱Unravelling⊰
After a period of dormancy, the Lock is back... and because of this, the man himself is awake. The children have disturbed the Locks purpose and the Keepers goal, the ruined castle has had its trapped being of radiance stolen from it. And someone has to return it.
Sam, Moon, Yadz, Raf, Kasha, Lock.
You're just where we left off, in the GreyLock. It's been quite the journey. You first gathered at the base Charlie found, regrouping and understanding what was to do next. You fought Flashes, the dark creatures of this realm, and grappled with having the want and the will to get out of this place, but difficulty knowing what to do or what you were up against. The base was then left, as you journeyed out to a light that could be seen on the horizon. You came across a tree growing gleaming red apples on your way, and discovered a hut with a crystal above its door, which was creating the light you saw. In a series of teleportations, caused by the crystal, you were all taken to the ruins of a castle, where Yadz almost met his end. Fighting flashes and reading inscriptions, you held your own, and survived for the time. The monument rose, the wind swirled, and Sam absorbed a being of light, angering the lock. A dark, mist like creature attacked, easily holding the children back and taking a hold of Moon. But Sam's absorbed light was able to destroy it, with blinding energy, but at the cost of exhausting its host. And Kasha had disappeared too. The rest of the team made a plan, tracking down Kasha to a Flash's nest. Skillfully distracting and infiltrating it, they were able to rescue their friend, and with some very high intimidation checks, scare the Flash's off.
Now, if you remember, you find yourselves in a dangerous place. The knee deep water that has appeared throughout the visible forest is entrancing to all the look into it, and a demon made of a grey cloud, which almost never appear in the sky here, seems immune to attacks. After the Flash's dashed into the trees, you were met with another problem.
[Throwback to what happened]: Your toes suddenly feel wet, as if you're standing in shallow water. It feels weird, like you're sinking, how it feels when you're dizzy and think you're going in a certain direction but you're not. Although, because of good saves, you all still feel pretty clear headed, not dizziness, just a slight bit of that moving vertigo, in your knees mostly.
You also feel a rush of wind, and a slight chill as a shadow comes over. From what you can see, its most likely the shadow of a cloud, which as you know, are very rare here.
Be honest to what your character would do, do you look up first, or do you look down?
You're all close together, dealing with what you face and the change in gravity that's occurring- or maybe the grounds tilting beneath you. Feet in the water, the demon making its way towards the children, its hard just not to be disorientated, let alone make a plan or know what to do. But, you're not dead yet. This part of the adventure is called unravelling, as truths may be uncovered, and paths discovered. These kids have shown themselves to be strong, I have faith. But keep in mind, unravelling also refers to the fate of you and this world, who lives, who dies, and the dawning of the god of this realm. Watch each others backs, the kids around you might be the only support you have. I have faith, we'll have to wait and see.
Thud.
The trees bend as a booming footstep rolls forth through the lock. Its enough for you to have to brace yourselves to stay where you are, and to ripple the water around your feet. For the purposes of what is about to happen, you are all conscious, and sane. The demon looks towards the boom, a slight look of displease in its eyes. "He is woken."
*For anyone who can no longer play in this, or doesn't want to, no worries! Just say, I know I didn't say this was coming back, I only decided when people asked for it over the last few days. Things may be slower then they were before, which I hope works for people.*

I want you to know. You are going to lose. You are going to lose badly. You’re going to lose badly and it’s going to be awesome.
Kasha steadies herself, then looks to the demon. “You can speak common?” She steadies the now awake Moon on her feet next to her leaning on the tree. She then shifts Charlie on to her shoulder. “Are we on something’s back or what?”
*three things. 1, I guess the demon forgot its fear of Kasha when he heard the sound. 2, Kasha would say that second line because it is completely within the realm of probability in a magic setting. 3, should we have the benefits of a short rest, a long one, or none?*
Yadz grabs hold of a nearby tree to steady himself, keeping his eyes locked on the demon. "Tell us what that noise was, or piss off. The choice is yours."

The demon thing turns its head, looking at you all. Its red eyes glow, it looks serious, but not angry or hostile. It nods, and promptly dissolves into a ground covering cloud, and then into nothing. "This isn't mine to do anymore." It plainly states as it vanishes.
Everyone, make a perception check.
