The fire starts to roar, a beautiful flame against the grey. It warms you, and slowly the grey retreats and the logs that its burning revert to their normal colour.

She picks it up and lights the tip on fire, trying her best to make a torch. Checking the area around the flame for any traces of color, she'll hold the flame as close as possible (without setting stuff on fire) to anything and everything nearby that she can see. The ground, the bag, the knife and piece of flint, the trees... etc.

I want you to know. You are going to lose. You are going to lose badly. You’re going to lose badly and it’s going to be awesome.
Yadz is baffled by his sudden lack of treeclimbing ability. Maybe this place has drained his strength, who knows. He rips a strip off his shirt and ties it round the closest tree to where he appeared, and then begins to walk in a relatively straight line away from the spot until he reaches something worth stopping for.
*Ooo, tactics*
You walk, for as long as it takes. When you arrived here, you seemed to shine, the colours of you and your clothes standing out against the grey. As you begin your walk, although your clothes still contrast with the forest, you feel as though you're being absorbed into its lethargic energy. Your will, you feel, is slowly losing any kind of potency. Slowly.
Make a Perception check, along with a Wis and Con save.

*Here’s the problem I’m dealing with. You said you’d walk until you found something. But you got a nat 1 on your check to find something. But luckily, your bad Con save will make up for it*
As you walk, you feel as though your grey surroundings are sapping the energy from your limbs. Mentally you feel pretty okay, but after a while you’re forced to stop and rest. This is confusing for you, at the very least.
Yadz is frustrated. His body never just gives up like this, even after hours of training. Eventually though, he acknowledges that he can't keep going and sits down on the ground, back against a tree. He meditates for a few minutes trying to draw on the power of his god.
Make a new Con save, and add your wis mod to it too.
*Wis save mod? Or just the normal one*

Satisfied with this information, Moon tries to find some more sticks and some leaves. Using the torch to discern the color of everything, she'll try to gather as much of the most green twigs and leaves in her tiny arms as she can---the greenest foliage make the most smoke. She's turning the campfire into a smoke signal for other people.

Sitting around the campfire is a small eldarin winter elf child. She looks very young, about 9 years of age. Yadz, having now finished his rest and regained the majority of his energy, finishes his meditation. (Unless you don't want to, that is). Ahead, he can see a rising pillar of smoke, maybe a mile off.
Moon, sitting by her campfire, is waiting to see if anyone sees her smoke signal. But she's not fully aware of what other things she might be luring in too. A rustle and a scutter up in a nearby tree can be faintly heard. Make a perception check, along with any actions moon would take after hearing this.

Moon's Perception! 17
Moon looks up, peering through the branches for wht may have caused the sound, before shouldering the bag she found, pocketing the knife and flint, and running away.... only to stop as Yadz arrives. She turns just her head around to look at him with silvery eyes. Moving her head almost imperceptibly, she motions for him to follow her as she scurries off a little bit away from the campsite. Ideally, she picks a spot to sit down that still keeps the camp in eyesight, but is far away enough for her to hide among the trees if needed.

Hearing the sound, Yadz's training kicks in and he snatches up the nearest branch he can see, holding it like a sword. He tries to put himself in between the elf girl and the place the noise came from. Yadz says loudly, "Who's there? Show yourself!"

As you start your greeting, you hear a rustle and a scutter up in a nearby tree. Make a perception check, along with any actions Yadz would take after hearing this.
Long live the dragon slayers, long live the spider guild, long live the forums.
I want you to know. You are going to lose. You are going to lose badly. You’re going to lose badly and it’s going to be awesome.
*I'm just gonna quote this for now, combine two into one*
*also thank you ahahdkffkl*
Moon's Perception! 17
Moon looks up, peering through the branches for wht may have caused the sound, before shouldering the bag she found, pocketing the knife and flint, and running away.... only to stop as Yadz arrives. She turns just her head around to look at him with silvery eyes. Moving her head almost imperceptibly, she motions for him to follow her as she scurries off a little bit away from the campsite. Ideally, she picks a spot to sit down that still keeps the camp in eyesight, but is far away enough for her to hide among the trees if needed.
*oh come on, it was a 12 before*
*do you want me to roll again? I'm getting that cursed Manipulated Rolls tag*
*I'm assuming he doesn't have anything on him that can be used as a weapon*

Hearing the sound, Yadz's training kicks in and he snatches up the nearest branch he can see, holding it like a sword. He tries to put himself in between the elf girl and the place the noise came from. Yadz says loudly, "Who's there? Show yourself!"
