Spike:
Suddenly deciding that maybe getting thrown was less objectionable than being sliced in half by a sword the size of a lumber mill saw, Spike is out of position and nearly gets cut in half—but Enoch’s stout shield saves him before that regret is his last thought this side of Moradin’s mighty forge.
With the giant going down from his allies’ other attacks, Spike roars his approval for both the save and the kill, directing a kick at the groaning creature!
Kick on giant (nonlethal damage): Attack: 16 Damage: 10
Swaying unsteadily on his feet from his many wounds, Spike turns towards the Magmin to his east and starts whacking at it with his spiked armor!
Tavern Brawler Strike: Attack: 27 Damage: 8
If that attack hits, Spike uses his bonus action to spike it!
Attack: 15 Damage: 9

Essendrum moves to the giant and looks for the item, retrieving it if he finds it. While rifling through the giant’s pockets, he whispers in infernal, “Fee-fi-fo-fum, #%@$/!”
((OCC: Odd, I was sure I had posted something after Enoch's attack of opportunity.))
Bjorn's spell causes the Magmin to explode in a ball of oozing fire. The fire scorches a 10 ft. radius around it, catching Bjorn, Enoch and Essendrum. Bjorn and Essendrum take 6 h.p. of damage, while Enoch only takes 1/2.

Bjorn's spell causes the Magmin to explode in a ball of oozing fire. The fire scorches a 10 ft. radius around it, catching Bjorn, Enoch and Essendrum. Bjorn and Essendrum take 5 h.p. of damage, while Enoch only takes 1/2.
Enoch attacks another fleeing Magmin. The Magmin explodes into another firey ooze that scatters around where it once stood. Enoch,Spike & Essendrum make a Dex save DC 11.
Spike's attack missed.
In this world of exploding Magmin, the Giant's body does not go unharmed. The two explosions of oozing lava have covered the Giant's body head to toe. Coupled with the inner heat of a Fire Giant that has been released, Essendrum risks severely burning himself if he starts rummaging through the Giant's belongings.
The two remaining orcs snarl turn their Axebecks north and flee in that direction. Kiza may take an attack on one of them if she desires. The remaining Magmin have fled, and combat has ended.
The party stands in the midst of a few bodies and burning, scorched earth, some worse for wear than others, and takes a look around. Burning homes dot the landscape, forming a cloud of ash and smoke that hazes the vision and causes more than one party member to cough. The sounds of battle have faded, with only a couple of angry shouts, and noises from beasts occasionally filtering through, replaced by the crackling of burning wood and the cries of the injured from the surrounding community. From the south, the march of more than one footfall can be heard and a loud female voice yells out. "Arn, Flan, get to the fire wagon at the tower and start getting these damn fires out," she yells out in a commanding voice. "We have to get them under control if we want to save anything in this town." Out of the smokey haze steps a woman, 5'7" tall, with brown hair, wearing studded leather armor and holding a shield and broad sword. She is followed by a group of men. The men tower over her physically but, you can tell she holds the authority here. She stops and surveys the scene before her and addresses the party. "Looks like you lot have been busy." she says in a flat tone.

(OOC: The 5 points of fire damage are cut to 2 by Absorb Elements and evaporate harmlessly on the 2 points of Ward added by the spell. The second explosion: dex save: 10)
Essendrum bobs around the giant, as closely as his magic will allow him, looking for the item.
Over his shoulder he says to the woman, “We’ve been busy indeed! I hope your crew has not arrived too late! This giant must be extinguished and we must retrieve what the giants came for if he still has it! I fear sorcery! Quick, now, to work!”
Kiza fires. True to its mark the arrow lodges into the back of the fleeing Orc. The creature cries out in pain and falls backward, hitting the ground. It does not move after that. The Axebeck seems to pick up speed as it flees north into the smokey haze.
Realizing what she said, Essendrum turns with a look of exasperation. “Arn and Flan will be too late again with this water wagon of yours! They must put out these fires with blankets from those wagons over there immediately! It is imperative we learn what your town has had buried beneath it, I tell you!”
Essensrum gestures to the wagons he incinerated while obliterating the orcs and then pauses. “Well, blankets from some other wagons. These are in poor condition.”

Spike:
Spike’s Dexterity Save: 16
Recovering from his rage as the enemies flee, Spike’s wounds catch up with him as he is barely standing. Still, he says, “The brute dug up something,” as he kicks the giant’s body over to see what might be trapped beneath.

(( Enoch takes 2 damage and makes a DEX Save of: 5 ))
The paladin straightened his posture as he looked the woman up and down, then looked towards the men behind her. "Yes," he replied simply with a shrug, refusing to acknowledge his injuries at the moment. "We have."
It is then that he noticed Essensrum's yelling. Turning to the mage, it eventually dawned on Enoch that he was trying to put out the flames surrounding the giant. He rushed to the wizard's side, dropping his sword and doffing his shield, only to then desperately try to use the metal plate to shovel dirt upon fire.

The 5 remaining Magmin, seeing their master fall, start to scatter to the winds, each running in a different direction, away from the party.
(Spike and Enoch may make an attack of opportunity on a Magmin.)
Essendrum may act if he wishes.
(( Enoch's DEX Save: 19 ))
Seeing the giant fall, Enoch turned his attention towards the Magmin. With a sober grimace, he took a swing at the closest one that turned to flee.
