(OOC: Essendrum’s Ward was back to full strength when the Giants appeared because his Dispel Magic, an abjuration spell, added 6 points, maxing it out. He took 1 hp for walking through fire (no saving throw mentioned), he was hit for 5 hp (2 more damage to Ward due to resistance from spell)(no saving throw allowed), then he had to save (failed) for 9 hp from the explosion of the last Magmin (4 hp to his Ward). So as I tally it, his Ward is at 7 strength (14-1-2-4). Did I miss something?)

Essendrum's Raven flies overhead and lands on top of one of the wagons in the northwest corner of the camp grounds/market area.
The Fire Giants look at one another and the 1 under Essendrum's spell extends his hand to the second.
When Essendrum speaks the 2nd Fire Giant appears to bow his head for a moment and shake it. He reaches down and picks up something from the hole he has dug. As he does so he says two words in Draconic: "Osk Fel" Translation:
"Liar"
Then he says "Otta" in Giant and he turns and starts running north.
"Fear"
Suddenly the head on the pole seems to awaken. Its eye open, shining with an eerie green light and the mouth opens wide in an inaudible scream. A wave of fear washes over the party. Wis Save DC 12 ( I believe Bjorn's Bless is still in effect so add it to your rolls please)
Essendrum throws his arm up to protect himself from the gaze of the bodiless abomination, but in the back of his panicked mind he is already eager to learn its secrets.
“Corr ap Conflaga Sacrud, et dicten Majestrin portul…broren bravundum gnosen! Pos… Voca Direcca po cap nulik?” he hisses through clenched teeth to the obedient giant.
Translation from Giant:
Run towards the setting sun and then report directly to our Lord…word of your bravery must be known!Oh, and what is the command word to silence the head?
He then runs after the Giant carrying the Item while taking care not to approach the Head Horribilis.
(OOC all that assumes he is simply frightened, not otherwise debilitated)
Essendrum and Enoch are Frightened and flee to the east, toward the inn the party had come from. The head upon the pike dissolves into an ooze that slides down the pike and puddles at its base. Kiza, unaffected by the spell, starts to follow the Gaint as it starts to run from the area. Spike is unaffected by the spell (what does he do?)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Spike:
Already headed to the pike with the head on it, Spike is about to grab the head as he goes past when it dissolves into goo. With a curse, he turns to the giant who is running away with the dug-up item and shouts, “How dare you defy the master!”
Flying after the fleeing creature, he slams into it with his full body weight, trying to impale it on his many spikes!
Move up to 35 feet flying to catch up to the giant.
Attack 1 Unarmed: Attack: 24 Damage: 7
Attack 2 Unarmed: Attack: 12 Damage: 10
Bonus Action Grapple: 20
If the grapple success, it deals 3 points from the spiked armor. Note that if the giant is classified as bigger than “large”, Spike is not big enough to give the giant the “grappled” condition, but he may be stuck on him like an irritating burr…

Esssendrum: You yell out the best you can to the Giant you have enthralled. You can tell the spell is still active. Essendrum's Giant, hearing the wizard's "suggestion" looks a bit confused but, starts running west. Essendrum runs east.
Enoch: run to the east.
Spike-the flying dwarf: Spike, seeing the Fire Giant head north, takes to the air and tries to attack it. He makes a couple of passes but misses. Frustrated the dwarf makes one more pass and manages to hit the Fire Giant.

(I'm not part of the bless spell, so it was not added to my saving throw.)
Bjorn will move 30' after the fleeing giant and cast (as a 3rd level spell) guiding bolt at it. Attack (+8): 25 Damage: 23. If it hits, the next person to attack the Giant first will get advantage on their 1st attack against it.

Kiza's determination allowed her to not be effected. She also follows the giant with the item.
(OOC: hopefully ‘giant’ as the giant with the
footballItem is heading north and Essendrum sent the other one west. We want thefootballItem!)OCC: Sorry for the evening post gang.
