“Spirit. In every language in all the Realms, surface and Underdark, in every time and every place, the word has a ring of strength and determination. It is the hero's strength, the mother's resilience and the poor man's armor. It cannot be broken and it cannot be taken away.”
"Hold Alexander," Liathana shakes her head at the paladin's suggestion. "I can hear 5 or more people in that eating cave. Sildar could be devoured in the time it takes you to figure out if the eating cave is accessible by that bridge or not. Even if it were, we'd need a single to know when to spring an attack. I'm not sure if you noticed, but Eniallis and I aren't quite vanguard material. No offense, Eniallis." She cast the spellcaster an apologetic smile.
(Liathana can be convinced to go along with Alexander leaving. She is just worried there won't be any communication between the main group and him.)

Eniallis: You hear someone approach, rambling in a language only you can understand
“(-Do this and that. Yemik only likes to boss around and do nothing! What do I care if those bozos don’t do their job properly!)”
A relatively small Goblin comes out from the entrance of the Eating Cave, who lets out a gasp and paralyzes immeadiatly after spotting Liathana and Eniallis.
“(Uoh-oh...)” He starts slowly taking steps back, attempting to make a tactical retreat “P-please don’t hurt me, I am just… You want to- You want to beat Yeemik, Not me, Grinbo!)”
It seems Grinbo isn’t really looking for trouble. He flais his arm in the air, surrendering, even throwing his Scimitar onto the floor. But will you believe him? He’s a goblin after all.
"Er, sorry, don't speak goblin!" Liathana raises a brow as the goblin seems to completely give up. "I assume he's surrendering?"she asks to the rest of the party.

"He's claiming it's some 'Yeemik' we want to beat, not him. He's trying to coward the way out of here." translates Eniallis. Stroking his chin, as if deep in thought he continues: "Not sure whether we should believe him, but he doesn't seem to be trying to deceive us." He turns to Alexander "If you want to vent your frustrations with the goblins even further, interrogating this one might not be a bad idea."
Nodding to Eniallis, Alexander draws his longsword. "Ask this goblin if it knows the exact layout of the cave and the number of goblins currently inside. Stress the fact to him that if he lies or is unwilling to answer that we will feed him to the wolves."

Eniallis turns back to the goblin "The big scary guy here isn't too keen on letting you go. He says that you should tell us the layout of what you call 'Eating cave' and how many goblins and other creatures are currently inside. The other option..." he shrugs and points at the wolves "... is becoming their lunch."
Grinbo gulped and trembled as Eniallis introduced to him their wolf companions, Char and Mae.
“(Th-the “Eating Cave”?)” Grinbo repeated “(Y-yes, of course! Well, there’s not much to tell! It is mainly a cave where we… Eat!)” He joked, but just as soon as he smiled, his grin faded. Grinbo cleared his throat before continuing “(Ehem, w-we were about to eat, us goblins, I mean, the human, the kitten, and the lizard are not. Cannot, they are bound below. Below from where we eat, yes, yes. We eat on the above part, yes, yes.)” He scratched his head, and started counting with the other hand; Murmuring numbers “(Grinbo believes there to be 5 other of us. Some cook in lower part, some other guard. Grinbo was made to check outside, but then Grinbo ran into friends! Grinbo and you 5 are now friends)” He nodded “(One of them is Yeemik. Yeemik is the ugliest of them all. Yeemik treats everyone badly. He thinks he’s important enough because he is second in command. But Yeemik is cruel, bad, and smells. Friends should squash and bash Yeemik, yes, yes)”
What you gathered from Grinbo’s rambling:
-There are 5 goblins inside the cave, Grinbo being the 6th one. The goblins inside don’t seem to be aware of your presence, even though they heard the cave’s sudden flood.
-Yeemik seems to be in this cave, and the second in command. This may mean he is a powerful opponent.
-The goblins have 3 prisoners. One Tabaxi, one Dragonborn, and a Human; Which is most likely to be Slidar Hallwinter
-The Eating Cave seems to be divided in two, a lower area, and an upper area. The prisioners are held in the lower area.
“(G-Grinbo delivered as friends asked!” He beamed “Is Grinbo allowed to go now? Grinbo is a good guy now, Grinbo will run away, never to come back. Never do evil again. Grinbo will never steal again… Well, maybe to eat, but Grinbo will never hurt friends of friends again!)”
The goblin continues rambling about him being mistreated by the others, and how he just hung around because he wished to eat. You stop paying attention by now...
"Let's deal with this one and move on, we've spent enough time with this one. I'll leave what to do with him up to you two though I suggest we knock him out and secure him before moving on."

Grinbo: It seems your new… Friends, aren’t exactly as trusting as you expected, and before you can even react, a horrendous pain on your head knocks you out cold.
This large cave is divided in half by a ten-foot-high escarpment. A steep natural staircase leads from the lower portion to the upper ledge. The air is hazy with the smoke of a cooking fire, and pungent from the smell of poorly cured hides and unwashed goblins.
Alexander: Despite the racket your armor is doing, once inside the cave, no goblin seems to pay attention to you. From where you are, you can see 2 out of the 5 Grinbo warned you about. Behind them, you can see three people bound to a ledge… Slidar, the feline, and a dragonborn. All three of them look weak and beaten up.
Char and Mae: The smell of food makes you both start panting. Whatever the goblins were preparing, it still fills the cave with its odor.
Char and Mae lowly whine, but Liathana puts a hand to their heads to hush them. She whispers to the group, "How's it looking? Any ideas, or should we run in screaming?"
