Class: Druid (with a possible dip into a martial class because he’ll go through his ‘getting jacked at college’ phase.)
Background: Strixhaven Initiate, Silverquill. (More than happy to allow the story to take Knap in other directions.)
Backstory: Knap grew up beside a beautiful frog pond surrounded by symphonies of the natural world. He and his family have deep Druidic connections to the surrounding lands. One day, not too long ago, machines of destruction and development swept through these lands leaving Knap and his family displaced. In an effort to attain some upward mobility, Knap’s parents, aware of his poetic tongue, began preparing him for Strixhaven, potentially as a student of Silverquill college where he’d strengthen his rhetorical skills to one day hopefully make a case for the return of his homelands.
Traits: Knap believes in the infallible nourishment and power of the natural world. He brings together druidcraft and thaumaturgy, interwoven with words to express the ineffable knowledge embedded within the natural world. Knap is perhaps a little too dreamy, he knows it and is terrified he won’t fit in at Silverquill college.
"Beyond the eyelid’s flickering light, strange how you teeter. Marsh frogs in their homes shake the shallow waters of these hours. Their song across space naked spills through an opened window."

I am intrigued with your idea. I want to try a dragonborn sorcerer of draconic bloodline (I know, two dragons?!), so first I'll see if I get good rolls and if not, I'll do point buy.

Hi there! I'm also very interested in a Strixhaven Campaign, in fact I've already cooked up a character for it and posted it elsewhere for it in fact.. But i wasn't chosen, so I;m just going to put it here. Would that be acceptable? If you'd rather I just make a new one, or edit this one, I can do that too.
Traits: Vokurith is a contemplative, quiet, soft spoken Dragonborn, that seems to find himself doing things for others rather than himself quite often. In fact, he's developed a bit of a silent temper for it, ruminating too much can do that to you. Whether that's doing your schoolwork, or picking up a sword so your father will get off your back about doing something "tangible" for the clan. Whether it's contemplating, or seething... The Dragonborn tends to find himself doing it silently. Overall, he'd supposed he'd found himself rather alone in life...
Backstory: Vokurith was always a curious sort. Even as a child, when he'd find himself training in the yard at the behest of his elders, he'd find himself distracted by questions. Who had made the weapon he wielded? What was it made of? And how had they shaped it and why? Questions such as these that left him with a stern look on his face as he pondered life and it's complications. Had earned him the nickname "Coldglare." He was much more interested in pondering the world around him than spending his life on a battlefield anyhow.
So when the chance came to learn more about his world and himself; to go to Strixhaven... How could he resist? Sure, he didn't know much about Magic, or how to perform any at all in fact. But why let little details like that stop him? He could learn... why limit himself or let his father limit him? And hey, if this doesn't work out... maybe that scowl of his will help him look scary on the battlefield? (Touched this up too so it was less of a chore to read and even added some FLAVOR.)

I do not see a problem with recycling a character if you wish!
Name: Godfrey Drystan. Race: Dragonborn (red). Class: Sorcerer draconic bloodline (bronze). Background: Haunted one (but custom for the skill and tool proficiencies). Backstory: Godfrey was born in a small cult that wanted to create a dragon more powerfull than the Four Founding Dragons of Strixhaven through the forced inbreeding of dragonborn people. Thankfully his mother managed to escape while pregnant from another dragonborn (the inbreeding didn't start yet, Godfrey would be force to inbreed). The cult was dealt with after she contacted the authorities. However, the damage was done before he even started to live outside, all the kids bullied him for being a red dragonborn of inbreeding and the adults didn't help either. One day he started to have bronze scales and develop magic, so his mother decided to send him to Strixhaven to learn how to control it and prove that he was more than "just a dragonborn from inbreeding". Traits: He is introverted and tries to not be the center of attention, yet he will fight when he gets pushed around or someone is getting hurt even if he gets beaten up. He enjoys carving small figurines out of wood when he is alone. Even though he tries to be alone, he does want to make friends that won't judge him for what he is, but for who he is. Character Sheet:https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/80588340
Think that instead of white is bronze and less prominent than the red.
Backstory: Observer was created to do just that, observe. They were commissioned as a wedding gift for the soon-to-be royal, gnomish newlyweds. Their marriage would bring together two smaller kingdoms, one Druidic in nature and the other comprised of tinkerers and smiths. Observer was built by some of the greatest crafters from both sides. One day, they will serve as an advisor to the royal couple, but since their creation they have been practicing. Observer spends theirtime learning about nature and mechanics in equal measure, taking a keen interest in the patterns and laws that appear in the natural world.
Traits: Observer is a bit socially awkward, but overall a kind person. Endlessly curious, they love studying and experiencing as much of the world as they can. Observer loves their people, but they are excited to meet people that aren’t gnomes (maybe even someone as tall as they are.)
I have a Kender Divine Soul Sorcerer. Before I write the backstory, let me know if that's a problem and I'll change the character.
ALSO: Could her Viol be her Arcane focus?? Like pluck a few strings or play a few chords for the spell effects?
I am completely fine with Kender. And the viol as focus is ok as well.
Thanks.
Name: Frieda Gomam.
Species: Kender
Class: Sorceress (Divine Soul)
Background: Entertainer
Backstory:
“What’s THIS button do?”, Frieda asked. But she never got an answer because she suddenly appeared….here. Transplanted from the Gnome Tinker’s lab to another world. She’d gone to Cognomen the Tinker, to find out what had happened with the star gem. The missing gem that the wizard Astrocetem said had come from the stars, bearing celestial powers. “You mean THIS gem”, she asked, pulling a glowing orb from her pocket. "I don't know HOW it got there." And ever since, she’d had magic powers, uncommon among Kender. Before she had the chance to become a bard, Frieda found an artifact that gave her Divine Soul Sorcery. Now she’s able to use her Viol to cast spells. Plucking strings sounds like a dolorous bell (Toll the Dead), while a chord sounds like thunder (Thunderwave), and a Lullaby causes Sleep. All she’d wanted to do was play music. She sat on a nearby rock and played a few of her favorite tunes to calm herself down. Still, she found out this world had a college of magic. Maybe THEY could help her figure out her new powers. She began her trek to Strixhaven. (She's just heard of Strixhaven but would fit in Prismari)
(I realized I had duplicated :"Cure Wounds" as a divine ability and a sorcerer spell, so I changed it to Mage Armor, which appears on my character sheet. But it does NOT appear on the PDF when I save to PDF. The PDF still has two Cure Wound spells and not Mage Armor.
I'm torn between two characters so might offer both, but one is a sorta plant medusa as she hair is flytraps. They bite but she doesn't have the medusa gaze because OP and would use hexblood stats because hair is curse. The other one is a feywarlock with older sorcerer siblings. Will post proper application soon.
Chara was born under a bad sign... the daughter of a warlock who made a dark pact with some infernal abomination. And because of her father's dark pact, she was born cursed, with the form of a fiend herself. No sooner was she born than her mother fled in terror from the "monster" that was her daughter.
Yet in spite of everything, Chara was a sweet, gentle girl. She wanted nothing more than to escape the infernal legacy that her father left her. She wanted to be able to bring some light and happiness into the world. And so she made a pact with a Celestial spirit, who saw that light in her soul and wanted to help her achieve her noble goals. But she knew that even with the blessing of a Celestial, she wasn't ready to strike out on her own to change the universe. She needed to spend some time learning to hone her new powers.

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

Name: Xaszanael of house Ferro Tructa (formerly Eldan Delanus Peacebleeder of Baldur's Gate) Race: half elf Class: draconic sorcerer (may multiclass warlock if i can somehow access GOO) Background: noble (baldurs gate patriar) Alignment: Neutral, he tries to do good, according to his warped perspective, he does right by those he feels are important and tends to forget others exist except when they remind him, which he finds irritating. Backstory:
born to the prominent Peacebleeder family in Baldur's gate Eldan was brought up wanting nothing, nothing but a sense of adventure that is. he was taught the ways of politics, of having enemies disposed of in the dead of night, he was taught trickery, and bribery, and how to send orders through so many intermediaries that it becomes essentially untraceable. but when he tried to learn magic all his teachers reported the same thing "your bloodline is clearly there, you should be able to cast, but something is blocking it" they spoke to sorcerers, to wizards, t hedge mages, and to priests, eventually they ended up speaking to a traveling warlock. he informed them that it was a Spark of Yokhothrholb'Imh'iogr'must that was blocking his sorcery and, at significant cost to the family, set up a ritual to speak with it. the Spark had several demands, Eldan must give up his Name and he must travel to strixhaven and learn there (an important part of the Deep One's schemes), in return the Spark would not only unblock his magic, it would enhance it and even give him visions if he chose to bind himself closer to it, after much deliberation and negotiations it was decided. Eldan would lose his name, but not his title. he would learn at strixhaven and grow in power, and perhaps even directly aid its plans in the future. thus decided, agreed upon, and sworn to. Eldan Peacebleeder, a young half elf of sound mind and uncertain magic was no more, in his place stood Xaszanael of house Ferro Tructa, a man with whispers in his mind and magic that burns with the flame of dying stars, no longer did he plan to squabble over power in baldurs gate, now he intended to own it, to ascend in power untill he reached, and surpassed the strongest of archmagi, he intended to forge a country in the flames of the void, and to leave all who joined him with power, wealth, and land.
Traits: he beleives it is his duty to protect and care for those beneath his rule, he tends to forget those who he feels unimportant exist, he tries to think about everything twice before acting as a way to prevent the whispers and his own insticts from causing problems, he tends to be somewhat vengeful, and beleives most people are beneath him, but he strives for competence and virtue despite his many flaws, and studies with a good attitude and work ethic.
this campaign seems really cool, i know very little about strixhaven, never having played it before but i look forwards to playing in it if chosen!
if you are wondering about the wierdness of one of the spells, i took shield and customized it so i had silvery barbs, one of my favorite spells, and apparently from strixhaven.
