A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Sail-E sticks her tongue out at Necyra, but as the other two try to talk her into joining them, she waffles a bit. But she gives Siszhu a strange look, "My parents? I don't have any parents, I'm an orphan. But no, I'm not lost, you want to get out of here? You go back the way you came." She says that last part to Nephvir, "and your friends are already heading that way."
She sighs and rolls her eyes really big, "Okaaay I'll show you the way out if you really want to know." and she follows Necyra.
Myles:
You don't see anything else of interest in the room. The balloons appear as though there might be some things in them? Hard to tell.
To'Kurr:
As you float above the dunk seats, you swear you hear Siszhu, Necyra and Nephvir below the floor.
Finding no clues to the whereabouts of the missing children, Myles decides to keep focusing on finding his way back to his team, cautiously climbing into the rotating man-sized tunnel.
"An orphan, eh? You kill your parents when you were young?" Siszhu asks, conversationally. "That's what I did. Didn't exactly mean to, just didn't know any better, really... Hey, you want some parents? There's loads of them waiting for us to rescue their kids. I bet you could have your pick of any that don't get their kids back, eh?"
"What you doing down here anyway though? We came to find kids... I guess other kids than you. You looking for kids too?"
Necyra continues to flutter south, shaking her head at the bratty kid, and thanking the gods that Siszhu is masterfully taking better care of the kid than she ever cared to. She never liked kids, anyway. They’re always filthy, germ-infested fleabags who manage to get in the way and even worse, spill something on her immaculate outfit.
((But quite tasty once washed and properly prepared. Much like potatoes, boil 'em, smash 'em, put them in a stew and with a little seasoning you can get great results!))
You enter the rotating tunnel and it turns you over like a pancake, but you curl up just in time to only get 1 bludgeoning damage. You now need another acrobatics check to see if you can stand up to walk out. As you lay there and peer down the tunnel, you see a solid landing surface, then it turns the corner to ... gulp... another rotating tunnel.
To'Kurr:
As you look closer to the water tanks, you see that there is some water leaking to the floor below. Holding your breath? in your vapor state, you plunge your translucent body through the seeping water to the floor below, seeing the backs of Siszhu and a girl walking south down a tunnel.
The rest:
Sail-E stops walking for a moment and considers the yuan-ti. "No... I did not eat my parents." her face contorts to a disgusted grimace but continues walking, "Who does that? Do I want parents? No! Who wants people to tell you what to do, give you chores, tell you what you're doing wrong, blah blah blah. Why am I here?" her face goes sad now and she looks down as she says much quieter, "Jack didn't want to play with me anymore."
To'Kurr's smokey gaseous face smiles at the sight of Siszhu.
He moves to talk but stops when he remembers he can't in this form. He also won't be able to keep up as even if the girl slows them down, they'll be walking much faster than he can float along.
To'Kurr floats down closer to the ground and then breaks his concentration. The wispy, smokey vapour solidifies and solid To'Kurr reappears.
"Hey Sisz, man," To'Kurr calls after Siszhu. "Who's your tiny friend?"
"What? Who? Nobody! I presume... would be... wrong?" Siszhu responds to Sail-E about the eating of parents.
"Well sure," he agrees with her about the assigning of chores. "But some do other stuff as well. So I hear. Some teach you things... Like how to hunt... or, um, read? They protects you when you needs it. Tuck you in at night. Bedtime stories? I hear those are real good... Lots of kids seem to like having parents is all. Someone to watch out for them and all... Like family..."
Siszhu pauses and looks at Sail-E seriously at the mention of Jack. "And just what kind of play did he do with you?" the Yuan-ti asks suspiciously. "And where did you play? We be looking for Jack..."
Siszhu then snarls and almost jumps at the sound of To'Kurr's voice. Siszhu had let his guard down and totally wasn't prepared for someone coming up at him from behind like that. Not that he was about to instinctively eviscerate To'Kurr by accident or anything... Oh no. Of course not.
"Her? She's Sail-E. She doesn't want no parents who would never run out on her like Jack did. She prefers people who are only there for the fun then abandon you when you get bored... Sail-E, this is To'Kurr."
To'Kurr completely misses that he probably shouldn't have come up so quickly behind Siszhu without warning the barbarian first.
"Oh wow, man, that's heavy," To'Kurr says as Siszhu describes Sail-E's lack of desire for parents. "Couldn't you, like, have both the fun and the sticking around, man?"
"Sail-E, Sail-E," To'Kurr tries out the girls name a few times. "Nice to meet you. Oh, where's Myles, man?"
As the investigator finally gets out of the rotating tunnel he groans as he realizes there's more of them ahead. Severely annoyed with the place he starts to climb through the next rotating tunnel.
Necya grins ear-to-ear at the sight of To'Kurr, and loudly exclaims "YEAH! The gang is ALMOST all back again! Good to see ya, buddy 'ol pal!" as she lightly punches To'Kurr on the shoulder. She then takes a deep breath in, and whiffs the familiar herb aroma of To'Kurr, and starts to flutter to the side, nearly bumping into the wall before catching herself. "Just like good 'ol times, man..." she mumbles, as she turns her attention back to Siszhu and the brat, as the party continues to walk south down the hallway.
"Wait...anyone seen my main man Myles? Where'd he run off to? He better not beat us to finding Jack first!"
Myles makes it through, barely, the turning tunnels and finds himself in a room that holds a smaller room with a glass door, and standing face to face with a bicyclist wearing a cape and a top hat beyond the glass door. The man is pedaling his heart out on the stationary bike and staring at you with a crazed look in his eyes.
The rest:
Sail-E looks up at Siszhu all serious like, "He didn't like that I wasn't fun, so he made me leave." she pouts heavily at this, "We play around the big tree, its pretty there. Much prettyer then here."
She's startled by the sudden appearance of To'Kurr and momentarily hides behind Siszhu, but then comes out and reaches a finger towards him, touching him to make sure he is real. "Who's Myles?"
As you finish walking down the corridor, you find yourself back in the large room with the big hole in the middle and the small 5 holes on the west wall, with doors on the north and south walls.
"Maybe you just think you're real," Siszhu snorts. "But truth is the only real that is whether you think it or not..." Siszhu has no idea what that means but he heard someone say that before and everyone else shut up for a while so he made a point of remembering it.
"Ahhh, home sweet home! Back to the big hole again. Say there, Sail-E, you think the big tree is down this hole?" Necyra adds with a hint of annoyance in her voice. Let's see who has a bigger chip on their shoulder...Sail-E or Necyra.
"Almost forgot to ask...hey kiddo, are you hungry or thirsty? Wants some snacks? To'Kurr there is full of goodies!"
The investigator realizes he is completely lost now but keeps moving, opting for the eastern exit from the room, although fearing he will be squashed by the first hostile creature he runs into.

He floats right to the floor and looks for any openings, like the one he used to get away from the snake ball room.
