Looking into the western hallway, Nightblade (and Boona, dimly) can make out a few Dwarven characters above the large dial on the far wall. The dial has a faceted indentation, like a socket. Fourteen carvings cross the dial, which has a fixed arrow pointing downward at its top.
Looking south, Bryony sees very little, while Jorzu examines the blackened pillars from afar. Bryony does hear something, however, a subtle bubbling sound. She also notices a faint green glow emanating from the west end of the room.
"No," Bryony shakes her head at Jorzu. "I wish I had keener eyes like you. Wait, a puzzle door?"
Curiosity piqued, she turns her attention toward the other passageway. Motioning to Boona to bring over the light, the little halfling approaches the door with the carving and the dial. She glances up at the inscription above the dial, trying to see if it's written in a language she understands.

Headed to the other door where the cultist vanished, Nightblade says, “I’ll keep an eye out for the escaped cultist so he doesn’t come up behind us.” He keeps watch there, scanning for any movement.

Boona and Bryony enter the short (but ornate) hallway and examine the odd carving and dial on the far hallway. The dial’s center has a faceted indentation, like a socket for a gem. Above the dial is a phrase, but in a language neither of them understand (presumably Dwarvish.) The dial, which looks like it can turn, has a fixed arrow pointing downward at its top. The carvings depict a faceted gemstone in various stages of completion, ranging from a handful of marks to a completed, emerald-cut stone. Bryony: make an Arcana or Investigation check (with Help from Boona) to try to understand what it all might mean.
Nightblade keeps watch on the southern door with Jorzu. Like Jorzu, Nightblade can make out a faint green glow from around the corner to the west, together with a faint bubbling sound.
