Surprise turns into a flash of recognition as Ratsy's face lights up at the sight of Syzygy next to him. He spins and yells, 

"This one! It's this one! Preserve its head! Booooonaaaah you idiot, get out here! Where..."

Then Syzygy's spell tries to take effect... DC15 WIS Save: 19

Then Ratsy seizes up with a strangled gasp.

"On a skewer it is, then," grunts the orc archer as he lets fly another arrow at Syzygy's chest (who has half cover from the orc from his position behind the boulder. +2 AC):
Bow Attack vs Syzygy: 5.  Hit: 7 piercing damage.

Ratsy grunts again as he tries to overcome his arcane paralysis. DC15 WIS Save: 7

Gundred runs forward and feigns a charge at the gnoll, trying to distract her. (Advantages to next attack against the gnoll, but likely makes Gundren her next target.)

Bryony and Quinn may act next!

Bryony follows Gundren, taking advantage of his feint against the gnoll to lash out with her blades.

Dagger - Attack: 8 Damage: 3

Sneak Attack - 9

I will use my new Puncture feat to re-roll the damage die of Bryony's shortsword attack: 4 So that would be a total of 8 damage for the shortsword attack.

Quinn moves to follow Gundren's lead, just like old times, but Bryony is too quick! She darts in front of him and sticks the mangy gnoll. Quinn sets his sights on the gnoll, marking them as his prey, and he attacks with his battle axe.

Move: 5 ft into melee range

Bonus Action: Hunters Mark on the gnoll.

Action: w/ADV due to Jurgen's Draconic War Cry. 17 to hit for 17 damage (stacking damage from Hunter's Mark and Colossus Slayer)

Bryony drives her blade deeply through the gnoll's stained tunic, and then Quinn steps around from the other side and cleaves her in two with his axe. The gnoll falls hard on the dirt, quite dead.

"Buh! Buh!" barks Ratsy, trying unsuccessfully to call out with a paralyzed tongue.

The sunburned soldier flexes his shoulders, scowls, and lifts his blade high, ready to take down Bryony, next. The orc nocks another arrow.

There is a rythmic thudding sound from the woods behind Syzygy and a massive figure crashed out of the trees,

" Sorry, Boss....my boot got stuck...who?"

" These the bad ones? The ones.....Shrik!! You killed Shrik!!"

"BAD PEOPLE!  NO MORE KICK PUPPIES!"

The huge woman almost 10ft in height pulled the enormous maul from her shoulder and swung it at Syzygy menacingly, as she did so the head of the maul began to shine with a greenish light and vines began to grow around the haft.

Attack: 13 Damage: 14 + Divine Smite 2

The situation has dissolved into chaos.

Shrik the gnoll lay cloven in two in the middle of the road.

Ratsy continues to sputter, paralyzed, near the boulder.

The orc sharpshooter aims another arrow at Syzygy's torso.

A massive goliath(?) stumbles out of the woods.

And the sunburnt guy with the longsword steps forward and attempts a powerful slash at Bryony:
Longsword Attack #1 vs. Bryony: 6 Hit: 7 slashing damage.
Longsword Attack #2 vs. Bryony: 7 Hit: 5 slashing damage.

Jurgen & Draco, and Syzygy may act next!

Syzygy feels a warm electric tingle through his chest and face. 
Somehow, the mind of the hulking mass didn't seem 'so far away', so to speak. 
And so he for no other reason but that he just felt it, whispered a word in undercommon (used in children's games and roughly translates as 'boo!').
As shred of his own will lashes out across a psychical pathways of impressions and reflections to pierce the attacker's mind.

Action: Tasha's Mind Whip Int Sav: 16 Damage: 8 Psychic 
Movement: 30 feet west, regardless if they make the save and I risk op' attack.

Jurgen moves up next to Bryony and attacks the sunburnt guy

13 to hit for 16 damage

Draco follows suit and attacks 24 to hit for 8 damage. 

Boona is lashed by Syzygy's mind whip; she is unable to stop him from crossing to the other side of the road. (No opportunity attack possible.)

The orc archer, still laser focused on Syzygy, admonishers Boona. "Don't let him go, you idiot! Get him!" Then he releases the string.

Bow Attack vs. Syzygy: 18.  Hit: 8 piercing damage.

Jurgen and Draco rush forward, tearing into the grizzled soldier. (Both strikes hit, seriously wounding the man.)

"Buh! Buh!" studders Ratsy. DC15 WIS Save vs. Hold: 15

Ducking and weaving with his blade, Gundren again makes a feint against the sunburnt soldier (advantage on the next attack on him.)

Bryony and Quinn are up next!

Quinn is stunned by the massive figure that stumbles out from woods. This...orc, goliath, or whatever it they are is absolutely huge! He mutters to himself "Bloody hell, this must be Boona".

Quinn takes a stab at introducing some chaos to the picture. In the Giant language, Quinn yells out. "Boona, are you gonna let them talk to you like that? Smash that bloody Orc!" He laughs out out and then turns his attention to the soldier. He measures up his prey attacks with his battle axe.

Bonus attack: Transfer Hunter's Mark to the grizzled soldier

Attack: 23 (w/ Advantage) to hit for 16 damage.

Quinn cleanly separates the ragtag soldier's head from his shoulders. He falls nearly atop the dead gnoll. 

Bryony may act next! Three foes remain: the orc archer hiding behind a tree, stammering (and arcanely "held") Ratsy, and the newly arrived giantess, "Boona".

The archer shrieks at Boona with exasperation, "The bald one! Get the bald one!"

Bryony heads for the archer hiding behind the tree and stabs at him with her blades.

Shortsword - Attack: 17 Damage: 9

Dagger - Attack: 22 Damage: 3

Bryony will use her Puncture feat again to re-roll the damage die for her Shortsword: 8 is the new result

Bryony races into the brush, behind the dead tree, and sticks two blades into the orc archer, wounding him very badly.

"Boooonah! Forget the bald guy! Get this halfling, you dunce!"

Boona is up next.
