Syzygy tries the key in the locked door at the north end of the short hallway, as Bryony watches through the (open) secret sliding door. Alas, the key is much too large to even fit in the lock.

He walks carefully through the crypt and into the cell block to the east. Trying his key on the padlock of the north cell... pop! The cell door opens. He gives his cloak to Mirna. ("I'll go first," she instructs her two teenage children.)

Mirna walks nervously into the crypt and looks around, hesitating. The skeletons do not move. Looking back at Aros, she mouths, "Which way?"

Aros brings Mirna into the north hallway. “Wait here and I will bring you the children.” 

He takes the cloak and brings it back to the cells. “One more, quickly please.”

Mirna is led to the middle of the north hallway to the north hallway, where she removes her red cloak to return to Aros.

Crack! Suddenly the skeletons stir and turn aggressively toward Mirna and Aros, shaking off a layer of foul dust. Mirna flees north in alarm, pushing past Bryony into the storeroom, where she freezes at the sight of Quinn in his red cloak. "The dead!" she exclaims in alarm to Quinn.

But then, just as quickly as they sprang to life, the skeletons become inert again. Frozen, they all seem to stare at Aros. Aros gingerly returns the spare cloak to the cells, where the young woman, Nilsa, is prepared to wear it next. 

Kimberleys head whips around north, but when nothing bad eventuates she turns west again..

Bryony waits in the storeroom while Quinn, Syzygy, and Aros help the Dendrars escape.

"Mrs. Dendrar, hi!" says Bryony, still quietly in case the skeletons decide to get up and move again. "It's me, Bryony. How did the Redbrands capture you?"

"Bryony...Jurgen...keep an eye on Mirna. I'll help escort the others. Anyone who isn't wearing a cloak, stay here."

Quinn walks past skeletons and into the holding cells, with his hand on his axe.

"Who's next? Do NOT take off the cloak until you make it out of view from the skeletons. Mirna is safe with my friends. Let's get going."

"They killed my husband in the street, and then they came to kill us," replies Mirna to Bryony. "But I promised them that my 'wealthy relatives in Neverwinter' would pay a substantial sum for our safe return. So the Redbrands have kept us here while they develop a ransom plan. But our time was running out. We need to get out of here..."

Nilsa exits next, escorted by Aros and Quinn, while cloakless Syzygy hides in the cell room, out of sight. Thirteen-year-old Nars is ready to go next.

Kimberley hears a door open. Voices. A door shuts. Then a single set of approaching footsteps, in the hallway below.

Aros hands over the cloak. While Nars puts on the cloak, Aros produces Goodberries and gives the boy 3. “Make sure to give one to your mom and sister. They’ll help you get your strength back.”

Once they are ready, he leads the boy to his family.

Quinn escorts Nilsa out to Bryony and Jurgen. Once she's out of sight of the skeletons, he asks Nilsa for the cloak and tosses it to Aros to pass along to Syzygy. Quinn will stay and stand guard with Mirna and Nilsa.

Kimberley slipped around the corner and waited with her fist ready for someone to emerge, she dare not call out to the others, just hope that she took whoever this was by surprise....

Nars takes the berries and allows himself to be escorted through the crypt and into the storeroom. Aros is given the extra cloak to return to Syzygy. Syzygy continues to hide.

Meanwhile, the clueless Redbrand never even knows what hit him. Kimberley's necromantic touch fells the man before his eyes even focus upon her. She finds herself in a short hallway, flanked by two closed doors, a dead Redbrand at her feet.

Jurgen lets them know he's going to check in with Kimberly. He moves over to her.

Kimberley begins dragging the dead bandit towards the pit to feed their new pet aberration...

Bryony's eyes widen in horror. "That's awful! I'm so sorry," she says to Mirna. "We are here to take care of these Redbrands once and for all."

"Be careful," replies Mirna to Bryony. "Their boss is some sort of wizard, although we never saw him. And he has some sort of tall, furry monsters with big ears working for him - we saw a couple of those for a moment yesterday. I think it's best if we just get out of here. Which way is out? They blindfolded us coming in."

Meanwhile, Kimberly drags her victim up the stairs and out into the cavern. He's a dead, middle-aged, human man with cheap leather armor, a sword, and a red cloak like the others.
Jurgen joins Kimberley.

If it is a short sword Jurgen will ask to use it

Kimberley dumps the dead Redbrand into the eye-monster's ravine, but not before Jurgen takes his poorly-made shortsword. The goon appears to carry little else of value or interest upon him.

“Yes, I think we should get you all out of here right away….what tha…hang on one moment.”

Quinn turns to Syzygy and Aros and calls for them in a hushed voice.

”Come on, we have to get outta here. Close the hidden door behind you.”

Quinn runs down to Kimberly and Jurgen to access the situation.

(Unless Aros or Syzygy have other ideas, we'll presume that Aros brought the extra cloak back to Syzygy, and that they both returned, closing the secret sliding door behind them.)

Quinn joins Kimberley and Jurgen.

The Dendrars are eager to leave. "How do we get out of here?" asks Mirna again. "They'll be back soon."

“That’s a good question.” Aros looks to the others. ”We need to get them out. You do have a safe exit, right?”
