Aros slowly walks towards the wizard, pretending to listen to his ramblings. Once he is within range, he waves his staff, sending a thorn covered vine at the manipulative magic user.
Bryony was waiting for someone else to make the first move. When she sees Aros unleash his magic at the wizard, she will unleash her arrow at him as well.
(OOC: per the spell I cast, my movement speed is increased by 30 ft, I gain advantage on a single attack plus add 1d8 force damage on the attack and movement doesn't provoke AOO)
Quinn attacks with the group in unison. His attack is unnaturally quick and unlike anything the group has seen from him thus far. He brings down a vicious, double handed attack with his battle axe and the impact comes with a booming thud of force.
Attack:23 (w/advantage) for 11 damage (7 + 4 force damage)
Movement: Quinn will use any remaining movement speed to create distance between himself and Glasstaff.

Aros conjures a thorny, vine-like whip that lashes out at Glasstaff. Bryony takes his cue to fire an arrow. (She has advantage on that attack, being unseen. Bryony bow attack reroll:14 )
The youthful wizard dodges both attacks (apparently aided by a shimmering protective sheen evident on his skin.)
"Hey!" he shouts, and vanishes. He reappears, standing atop of a 15-foot wall nearby, his glass staff raised high. "Do NOT test me!" he booms. "Lay down your arms and LISTEN," he adds. After a pause, peering at his feet, he nods his head in the affirmative and mutters to Syzygy, "Crows," then winks at him.
He is out of normal melee range with no easy way to climb the wall. Quinn may rejigger his turn. (Sorry about that - Glasstaff had a turn, first.)
Everyone may act. Everyone except Aros is now about 20' of Difficult Terrain from Glasstaff, who is 15' off the ground. Aros is still 30'+20' of Difficult Terrain away, back near the stairwell.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Glasstaff, standing atop the crumbling wall, raises his staff over his head and shouts. "By the inscrutable depths of the eldritch ether, I beseech thee, ye boisterous throng: Desist from this relentless, mindless barrage! Cease this cacophony!" He pauses to watch Kimberley's mace fly by, over the wall. "Listen to me for a moment, if you can muster the intellect, for within my words of enlightenment lies an opportunity that transcends your woefully mundane…"
He falls headfirst off the wall and into the rubble, fast asleep, taking 6 bludgeoning damage. He immediately awakens, but his speech has been interrupted. He is prone, looking around with shock and confusion.
Good or evil is tough to judge here. Self-serving? Probably. Manipulative? Likely. Pompous and egotistical? Pretty apparent. There's a nervous, under-pressure quality about him. You can't help but feel a little bad for him, even as he could be trying to play you like a fiddle.
Syzygy, (if possible) would use the movement of his turn to run over to the fallen Glasstaff, partially shielding him. He raises his hands to the others, “please, back down.”
(OOC: with Zephyr Strike, I believe I can get within melee range since Quinn's movement speed would be 60ft. If that's the case, let's try this again but with a twist.)
Everything happens in the blink of an eye. Quinn flashes red and darts towards the wizard as he watches Syzygy join in on the fight. Quinn moves like a blur with his axe ready to deliver a decisive blow. He begins to bring down the axehead on this dammed wizard, when he hears Syzygy call for a halt of attacks.
Quinn stands above the prone wizard, ready to strike down on him.
Ready Action: If the wizard makes any aggressive or appears to make any sort of magical gesture, Quinn will strike with a two handed melee attack. 23 to hit for 7 damage

Glasstaff looks around, considering his options, and rubs his injured scalp, as Syzygy tries to lower the temperature (and provides the wizard partial cover.) He ignores Jurgen completely.
"Surrender?" Glasstaff scoffs, sitting up carefully and looking Quinn in the eye. "Surrender what? My walking stick? You break into my home, slaughter my employees, make a dreadful mess, and now you accost a poor academic who until a moment ago was willing to cut you, his invaders, into a lucrative deal. Am I threatening you? Am I attacking you? I have no weapons. I am no threat to you? I am opportunity. You are making a mistake. I have very powerful friends."
“There has been enough bloodshed this week. We should hear him out. At least enough to realise we’ve been sucked into a storm of competing political interests.”
Syzygy has a flickering memory of his late friend falling pierced by blades and arrows, the slither of guilt makes him resolute in his current position.
