Jurgen will move 25' straight west and follow the same attack with this cultist with Green Flame Blade and his Long Sword, (19 to hit, 9 damage); 5 damage to the one just west of this cultist. He continues to direct Draco to attack the next cultist (17 to hit and 9 damage)
Favric awakens with a start. He swings his scimitar at Syzygy's ankles as Syzygy retreats: Scimitar Opportunity Attack (from prone): 4 Hit: 4 slashing damage.
Jurgen and Draco chase the cultists west, down the scrub-covered hillside. (Jurgen: It's difficult terrain, so you can't reach them this turn unless you Dash - do you want to do that and forego your attack?)
Kimberley moves her unworldly spotlight on the nearest fleeing cultist (#5), the man already bleeding heavily from Draco's bite. DC13 CON Save: 2
Quinn fires upon the burned woman fleeing next to him (#3) killing her with a well-aimed arrow as she tries to flee down the slope.
"Help! What are you doing?" cries Favric from the ground.
Jurgen hastily bushwacks down the scrubby slope after the fleeing cultist, but Kimberley gets to the fleeing man first.
Backtracking down the switchbacked lane a bit to be able to see her prey, Kimberley moves her arcane beam. Like a bug under a child's glass in the sun, the fleeing woman falls screaming in a puff of acrid smoke on the hillside. (Moot roll, but for the record, DC13 CON Save: 2.)
Favric stands, but then gets down on his knees to beg for his life to the dragon. "Your lordship, please..." he begs. But the dragon is uninterested in further conversation with Favric. Taking flight again, the dragon tears the cult leader into pieces.
Bite Attack vs. Favric: 16. Hit: 13 piercing damage plus 6 poison damage. Claw Attack #1 vs. Favric: 12. Hit: 10 slashing damage. Claw Attack #2 vs. Favric: 27. Hit: 11 slashing damage.
The dragon settles again atop the tower. Combat is over, the cultists all slain.
"Does that not feel good?" the dragon asks you from its perch. "Eliminating the weak and pathetic. The mighty, conquering. The wolf taking the sheep. You have donewell."
The dragons words about 'the wolf' catch Kimberleys attention and part of her wonders to her shame that perhaps Selune had placed her here for a reason, and that reason was not to fear poisonous lizards....
Quinn stands with his longbow still aiming where the cultist he killed was last standing. He stares a thousand yard stare as he wrestles with the thought of what they just did. The dragon's voice snaps him out of his daze.
He nods in the affirmative along with Kimberly.
In a low, stoic tone, Quinn addresses the dragon.
"That...was most impressive. Watching you hunt your prey. I come from a long line of hunters, none nearly as impressive as yourself.
Your approval, is an honor."

"You will make fine vassals," replies the dragon in its calm, smooth tones. "Perhaps. You have slaughtered the six charlatans, and brought me their six fine jewels together with a piece of fine jewelry. It is time for you to do more in my name. Four of you will now scout for riches, for magics. Pillage and conquer in my name. Take from the sheep, and leave nothing but carnage behind. I expect the equivalent of no less than 400 gold in tribute for your first efforts."
"But as I do not yet trust you, one of you will stay behind as collateral." The dragon coolly looks over the five of you. 2
The dragon's unblinking eye finally settles on Jurgen. "You. The little kobold with the mechanical automation. You will stay with me in my tower while the others forage for riches and power."
The eyes turn back on the rest of you. "Go, my children. Bring me back my riches. Slaughter those who will not give it. Then return to me. Your little friend will be safe here. Pillage in my name, in the name of Venomfang the Mighty."
"Go," commands Venomfang in smooth, honeyed tones. "Find, seize, and return with my tribute."
"You," it adds, its gaze resting upon Jurgen. "You may rest here in my cottage. Do not enter the tower. And if you try to leave..." it smiles slightly, "...the hunt is on."
Jurgen studies the dragon. It has a curved jawline and a crest that begins near its eyes and continues down its spine, reaching full height just behind the skull, which bears leathery spiked plates running down the sides of its neck. It has surprisingly long legs, and a long, serpentlike neck. Its body is perhaps ten feet from snout to tail tip, but with a wingspan even broader. Its scales are a dark forest green. Its wings have a dappled pattern, darker near the leading edges and lighter toward the trailing edges. (Roll a Nature check if you want to recall anything you might know about the behavior or powers of such creatures.)
Jurgen walks up to Quinn, puts his hand in his and says “Be careful my friend, and you all too. I think that town we last visited will be ripe for the picking with old people. Take this. “ he hands you a small metal sphere. In quieter voice he continues “It’s the most powerful magic I can give you. With it, It will make US rich. Don’t let Mr Green here see it.”
Facing Quinn and away from the dragon Jurgen gives a wink and says in broken goblin and dwarvish “let him take it, then be ready”.
he turns to the dragon “. I accept your terms. “
Jurgen uses Magical Tinkering and adds the smell of a dragon in heat with a command word on the object he passes to Quinn
A snarl escape Syzygy’s before he lets out a sigh.
the shock of the dragon jolts syzygy into action.
His clawed green hand reaches down to the sleeping cultist, probably the most deserving, teal sparks jolt as he casts shocking grasp.
Adv 24 to hit. 3 lightning.
he then moves between Kim and Quinn

Kimberley moved the beam of moonlight upon the nearest cultist, her mind going blank as the dragon chewed its meal.....

For fear of offending the dragon, Quinn draws his longbow and fires at one of the fleeing cultists.

Kimberley's target goes up in unworldly flames with a shriek. He collapses, dead, in the brush.
Only Favric, lying on the ground with electric burns, and one panicked, fleeing woman halfway down the hillside remain.
Bryony may act; Jurgen and Draco may revise their action.
"Yes! Very good! Kill the weaklings!" cries the dragon, riding the high of a bloody hunt of prey. "Chase them! Slay them!"

Kimberley moves after the fleeing one....happy to be further away from the dragon and moves her spell to follow them....

Kimberleys eyes glittered, but even the strongest pack did not challenge that which they could not defeat........at least at the moment.
Her fear remained, but she had welded it to her faith and her longing to be worthy of the Silver Lady and her gifts.
She locked eyes with Jurgen trying to read their expression...though it was somewhat difficult given the morphology of kobold faces...

Jurgen recalls something about this creature (Nature 21)
D&D since 1984
(With a 21, Jurgen has pretty much full knowledge of everything in the Monster Manual about Green Dragons. Like most kobolds, Jurgen reveres dragons and dragon lore.)
What age group?
D&D since 1984
Jurgen reckons this one to be "Young".
