Gavyn stands near Laine, humming idly while he cleans nonexistent lint from his clothing. He is sizing up everyone in the area to see who he needs to stand in front of if things take a turn.

Nisha creeps in closer, checking left and right that nobody is paying her any attention. When the moment seems right, the rogue would start working on the lock as motioned by Nathaniel, hoping the rest of the group would provide enough cover so nobody notices her being busy over there.

Aeran Dormaris - L2 Paladin on his way to Phandelver
After making a pass of the schedule he wanders back over to the group, speaking quietly while trying to look busy."Looks like our friend Jaske does work here. The assassins might be using the place as a hide out as well, or this is his day job. I guess we'll find out."
The pale winged Tiefling nods to Laine, then using the magic of his talisman to create steam from a nearby machine, covering the shenanigans Nisha is up to, then ready to discreetly peek inside the storage room.
Working together the party successfully masks Nisha's nimble fingers as she easily unlocks the door. Peeking in you see a large human women cover several crates with tarp.
She is robust woman in her middling years with a muscular physique.
Nathaniel is not sure, but the way she is dressed makes you believe she might not be a worker as the gnomes behind you have coveralls and smudged gloves. She then cracks open another crate with a crowbar, looking through it for something though what it could possibly be is elusive. She shakes head as she does not find what she is looking for.
The pale winged Tiefling takes a step back, letting others see. "She is likely with the insurgents, can we subdue her for questioning?"He says quietly, looking around at the others.
Nisha peeks through the opening, her brow furrowing as she quickly scans the contents of the room. (Investigation: 5).
"Are you joking?" the rogue hisses as she hears the tiefling's suggestion when she moves away from the door. "This place is full of witnesses. We can't take her quietly... Let her leave and we check what is under the tarp..."

Nathaniel shrugs. "She is alone in there and if we are quick and decisive it should not be long before we have her subdued I think, but if that sounds like a joke to you I guess we go with your plan instead. I'm just not sure how long we'll have to wait for her to leave though." He says quietly, the waiting for the other team members to weigh in on the plan.
Kaelen, who has just been wandering around, finds his way to his companions "Seems like the smart plan to wait for her. Maybe find one of these rooms that we can lure her into?" he says looks around.
"She'll finish what she's doing eventually and then we can check out what she's up to. Let's not cause a scene over this, we don't know if it's connected to our purpose here as of yet."

The pale winged Tiefling nods to the others and moves about, letting the steam stay until the team have dispersed from outside the door to the storage room. Nathaniel would then move around, looking busy and inconspicuous being there, waiting for the woman to leave the storage room.
(Nathaniel perfectly blends in with the other workers)
About 15 minutes later the woman has a package in her arms as she leaves the storage room. She says some words of encouragement to the gnome workers as she slowly winds her way to the stairs. As she gets close to the stairs, she takes out a brass key from her pocket.
The pale winged Tiefling seems mighty curious over what's in the package as he discreetly clances over at the woman as she heads for the stairs, seeming to regret not confronting her in the storage room now. Hopefully there was still some clue for them left to find there, and it seemed likely she was heading to report to her master now.
While they wait for the woman to get out of the room, Nisha tries to go back to hiding (Stealth: 20), careful not to attract any attention to herself.
When she finally emerges from the storage room, the rogue glances around to check her surroundings, then tries to focus her attention on the potential enemy (Insight: 17) and the direction she was going. Are there other workers going in the same direction? Any clues where she is headed? The rogue tries to figure it out.

Nisha figures she is heading upstairs and will use her key to unlock the gate barring the stairs that lead to the second floor.
