Okay. You both notice footsteps in the first room leading to an empty wall. No barrels or crates are stacked there, and the footprints seem to lead into the wall.
Templeton woukd like to investigate any markings that might indicate a door swing or if foot traffic suggesting they go to a different spot first (like to the side or to a different spot) to see if he can determine a opening mechanism and how a door could open.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Pip is mainly standing guard as the others investigate. He’ll lead the group to the next room when ready. He’ll use his keen smell to try to sniff out the next batch of baddies or items of interest. 11
Pip lets out a low growl in response to the smell. He keeps vigilant watch to make sure no one surprises them taking a few steps forward but still staying close to the party.
Nari walks up to the empty wall and places a hand on it to see if it's an illusion. ---------- ooc: Sorry for lack of responses, been traveling, also sick
Nari, you enter a tunnel which goes forward twenty feet then makes a 90 degree turn to the right. It goes straight for another ten feet then turns left. Eventually, the tunnel opens up to a natural cavern.
A cold breeze softly sighs in this large natural cavern, carrying the faint scent of decaying flesh. A crevasse with sloped walls divides the cavern and is flanked by two rough stone columns that support the twenty-foot-high ceiling. Two arched, wooden bridges span the chasm.
Bear pip moans annoyed as he struggles to get through, not wanting to tip off any enemies, he reverts back into his halfling form, "shoot, that's it for my shapechange until we take a break friends..."
Mayhew and Templeton, roll a Perception (WIS) check.
Perception: 21
Templeton perception: 15

Mayhew would like to assist Templeton's investigation.
You do not notice any door swing marks on the floor. The footprints simply come to a stop.
Nari? Pip? What are you two doing?

Pip, you smell the faint fragrance of death (or undeath?) in the hall in which you are waiting.

Templeton? Mayhew? Nari? What are you doing?

The wall swings open slightly.
Once Mayhew sees the wall swing open, he'll attempt to guide the bear in that direction, if Pip hasn't already noticed it.
"Oh. Well okay." Nari says and walks through.

Pip, you are having trouble squeezing through the tunnel in your bear form.
Bear pip moans annoyed as he struggles to get through, not wanting to tip off any enemies, he reverts back into his halfling form, "shoot, that's it for my shapechange until we take a break friends..."
After things quiet down again, Mayhew will try to determine if we're alone in this cavern.
