Plant dog 1

Mizu
Plant dog 2
Rowarin
Plant dog 3
Plant dog 4
Mina
Rixian
Kullogal
Dex saves for plant dogs: 206
(Yes, Mina can make her saves first. I think if you want to jump the wall that will take an action, it is 10ft high so I'd want an acrobatics check to see if you can make it.)
Despite his attempt to deal nonlethal damage, Rixian's blast of fire fully engulfs Plant dog 1, and it instantly turns to ash. Plant dog 2, who had already been harmed successfully dodges the initial blast, but the flames reach it nonetheless as it's tail catches on fire. It lets out a shriek before turning to dust.
Rixian:
I'm not sure how Rixian's curse affects him if he were to kill something, but it seems these creatures aren't activating it. Your best guess is that they could be classified as some sort of construct like a puppet rather than living creatures.
As the fight continues, Kullogal, still intent on avoiding violence, summons a wall of water around himself and Twig. The girl turns her twisted smile towards her savior, glazed eyes staring up at him in a disturbing fashion. However, to the triton it's the sweetest face he's ever seen one he must protect no matter the cost.
At first, you think you are out of the woods since three of the dogs have fallen, however three blobs form in the writhing mass of vines blocking off the alley exit before falling to the cobbled street. They wriggle for a moment before morphing into three new plant dogs.
(The new plant dogs will be added to the end of initiative.)
(The water wall would encircle about 15 ft with Kullogal and Twig inside. You are currently at the end of the alley which is about 20ft wide. The wall of water is in the back left corner with Twig standing close to the right side, and Kullogal off to her left. Mizu is right outside the wall next to Twig. Mina and Leeta are in front of the wall of water. Rixian and Rowarin are about 15ft away from the wall of water. Plant dog 4 is next to Rowarin. The new plant dogs are about 10 ft behind Rixi and Rowarin. The area within the dead end and the vine wall is about 45 ft.)

Mizu is momentarily blinded by Rowaran's transformation... an... aasimar? He's only heard stories about them, but he never thought he'd actually meet one. Though, now isn't the time to think about that. He doesn't even have time to think about whatever's going on with Rixian... which, honestly he might not even want to know. Everyone has secrets or pieces of their past they'd rather not share, and he'd rather not dig into someone else's, especially considering he doesn't want anyone to dig into his own.
His gut clenches when he notices Leeta's glance. It... it wasn't his fault! It was that spell... but... well, maybe he had been an idiot to let it get ahold of him in the first place. Oh stars, he's supposed to be better than that. If he can't hold strong to magic like this, how can he ever expect to avenge his family? He swallows, fighting back the storm swirling in his head. He's irritated that his attacks didn't do what they should have done. He's angry at himself for falling for Twig's magic. He feels foolishly guilty for whatever happened to real Twig, and for everything that happened while he was enchanted. Not to mention all the memories that have sat buried for so long now resurfacing.
Then Mina's arrow catches him in the shoulder, causing him to stumble backward. His eyes go cold once more as he searches for the source of the arrow. ...Right, those two are still under the influence of the magic... Still, the biggest threat is this plant dog. Gritting his teeth, he readjusts the grip on his swords, cuts the shaft off of the arrow embedded in his shoulder with one swipe, then rushes at the last plant dog. Clearly Twig isn't a fair target, but maybe if they get rid of these creatures she will either disappear or... go back to normal? If that's possible at this point... Hopefully Mina and Kullogal come back to their senses soon.

Rowarin finds himself incinerating one of the plant dogs, turning and managing to avoid the blows from another that has leapt with sharpened vines at him. His battle wit seems to be heightened and he is able to dodge the blows.
Glancing quickly over the battle field, his training shows his tactical abilities. Nice water trick. We need to wake him up from his trance. Kulogall can then drop this water charade and we can perhaps confront this girl in unison.
Rowarin begins gesturing with his hands, making the familiar symbols, and speaks the words he knows so well. "Kulogall, wake up!" Rowarin casts Magic Missile at 3rd level! (OOC: No damage roll is needed so all automatically succeed, regardless of proximity/water wall).
If plant dog 4 succumbs to the damage received, Rowarin will re-position himself standing to the side of RIxian, arms outstretched ready for the latest plant dog arrivals.
All plant dogs will now take 3 radiant damage from being within 10 feet of Rowarin.
(This move shouldn't change by what the plant dog 4 does, so I'm going to post it)
Mina stares at Leeta for a long moment. She tries to comprehend that her new friend just struck her but because of it, she feels herself again. What had happened? She slowly tears her eyes away from the halfling and looks to Twig and is astonished at what she sees. This creature was not the girl she thought she was protecting, something was seriously wrong with her and as she took in the scene, was the cause of the fight.
Taking another quick second she understands that her friend Kulogall is still under Twig's spell. She notices Rowarin's change but doesn't have time to let it sink in. Stepping through the difficult terrain of the wall of water, she stalks up to Kulogall, reaches back her hand and goes to slaps her friend right across the face.
But the water... her friend and his... slows down her attack and she misses terribly (Nat 1) argh!!
With the two water M's already back to their senses, Leetaconsiders going after Kulogall, but she has a feeling Mina's going to do exactly that, so the monk decides to attack the closest plant dogs.
Round 3.
Action: Unarmed Strike To Hit: 23Damage. 8
Bonus Action: Leeta spends 1 Ki point to Flurry of Blows the same plant dog, or the closest one if that one dies. Punch #1 To hit: 13. Damage: 11 / Punch #2 To Hit: 20. Damage: 7.
@Rynn: if any of the Flurry of Blows hits (the second perhaps?), I would like the target to be pushed up to 15 feet if it fails a DC 15 STR ST. It would be pretty fun to push that dog towards another dog, or even better!, across Kulogall's Wall of water and see if something funny happens :D

Wait are plant dogs actually (controlled) constructs? If so then Rixi is able to kill them without breaking his oath.
It happened again. As he does his best to limit his overflowing power, the next thing Rixi observes are the plant dogs dying to his hand. Staring blankly as the mounds crumble into dust, it hits him nice and clear: HE killed something that he wasn’t supposed to. Oh no. As he clutches his chest in horror, he deduces that this must be his end... it’s done. He can’t reverse it anymore. As he accepts the fact that it happened, he shifts his double-bladed glaive onto his left hand, strokes his dark red pendant and braces for nothing but more plants dogs and a wall of water awaiting him. He stares at Rowarin and decides that, before he turns insane, he may as well, for the last time in his holy life, assist him against-
Wait...
What?
He felt... nothing?
No extra pain? No bloodthirsty intent? No... darkening of his own armour? Huh?! But... didn’t he just...?
This isn’t right! He just killed something, rather three things, that he wasn’t supposed to kill. They were constructs! And yet... his curse isn’t reacting? What? Or is the demon waiting for the entire combat scenario to end before it would torture him before it awakens his doomed, oathbroken self? Something’s off, it seems, but not as off as Kulogall suddenly conjuring a wall of water to obscure Twig from him followed by the sound of more plant dongs coming from behind him. Now he has a choice: Either confront Twig and end it once and for all but risk Rowarin to fight the dogs alone... or he could stay but risk facing more of those plant dogs should Twig stay alive... choosing the greater evil over anything else... he needs to...
“On me.” He quietly whispers to Rowarin in response to the plant dogs. Knowing that passing through the water wall would immediately wipe him out in an instant, Rixi will focus on the plant dogs instead and Repeat the same action on the new plant dogs, seeing that attacking the plant dogs didn’t do anything for now... (DC 16 DEX or suffer from... wow 6 Fire? Harsh.)

Plant dog 4 yelps when hit with Rowarin's attack, it looks seriously hurt but it's still up. Deciding that the Aasimar is to hard of a target, it uses it's action to disengage, moving towards Mizu and Leeta.
The Wizard's second dart slams into Kullogal, however it seem's whatever spell he's under won't let him go easily. The third dart passes harmlessly through Twig, her phantomlike body ripples slightly due the spell. She doesn't even seem to notice.
Now released from the spell, Mina tries to slap her friend out of his trance. However, she ends up just slapping the water really hard. Hard enough to make her hand sting a little.
Rixian:
That is correct! Haha, that's why I thought he'd be able to figure that out. ;) It's also probably pretty obvious that these things are very sensitive to fire.
With his repeated attack, the fire genasi is able to catch all three of the approaching plant dogs in the flames. They all yelp and make clicking noises as they attempt to scatter.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Again, these are new plant dogs just reusing the numbers)
(It's technically Kullogal's turn, but I am going to post the plant dog's actions anyways since he's still under the spell XD)
Plant dog 1 take the full brunt of the flames. It's not dead yet, but it is very, very hurt. Plant dogs 2 and 3 manage to jump away but still take some damage. Plant dog 1 clicks deeply then rushes the paladin, tail raised.
Tail attack: 13 (on a hit make a constitution save DC 16)
Damage: 6
Claw: 5
Damage: 5
It lets out another yelp as it's hit with Rowarin's radiant energy.
Plant dogs 2 and 3 pace back and forth trying to figure a way to get past the Blazing paladin and radiant wizard, but it seems the alley is to narrow for them to completely avoid the two. Splitting up, plant dog 2 tries to dart around Rixian while plant dog 3 rushes towards Rowarin. Unfortunately for plant dog 2, Rixian is ready for it and it runs headfirst into the paladin's polearm. Plant dog 3 however rushes to Rowarin's side, opposite of Rixian as it does not wish to meet the same fate. Clicking, it claws at the wizard.
Claw: 19
Damage: 8
Meanwhile, Plant dog 4 is sizing up Leeta. Perhaps it thought that the smaller prey would be easier to take down. It thought wrong. As soon as it is within her range, the mini monk slams it once in the face, then hits it once again sending it flying strait through Kullogal's wall of water. It's limp body explodes through the wall and heads strait for Kullogal!
Kullogal! On top of posting your action for round 2, make a dex save! We must see if you avoid being hit by the flying plant dog. XD
I just realized that I forgot to confirm that plant dog 2 is dead. lol. Plant dog 4 is also dead. Soon after they fall, two more blobs fall from the vine wall and become two new plant dogs!

Mizu notices the plant dogs forming from the wall of vines, and realizes that this is a futile battle. Still, the creatures seem very vulnerable to fire...but it they are the wrong targets.
Quickly, Mizu rushes over close to Rixian, dodging Rowaran's radiant aura as he goes. "They keep regenerating from the vines,"he says quickly. "Perhaps your fire would be better focused there." He points one saber at the wall, readying himself to fight the oncoming dogs. "...Leave the new ones to us." It probably sounds like he's giving orders, but they really are just hopeful suggestions. It's pretty clear by now that he's not used to telling others what to do.
Once he's said his piece, he flicks the point of his saber towards one of the new, oncoming plant dogs slinging a radiant blue light towards it. (just target whichever is closest)
Attack 1: Ray of Frost (on a hit its speed is reduced by 10ft)
Attack: 22 Damage: 10 (14 and 5)
Then, he spins and a stream of water forms around him and coalesces on his second saber, the point of which he flings towards the same plant dog. The greenish liquid bubbles and steams as it careens towards the creature, changing from harmless water to flesh-eating acid.
Attack 2: Acid Splash
The plant dog must succeed a Dex save of 13 or take: 8 acid damage (2)
Then he lets out a long breath, eyes flicking to his next opponent.
Kulogall dodges the plant dog that flies into his area (Dex save 15) and he continues weaving his hands. He’s surprised by the appearance of Mina and her apparent lack of concern for Twig. “Mina, what are you doing?” He says as she swings at him, trying to strike him and misses. “Stop, you’ll mess up my spell, I’m trying to protect her, don’t you see! Get back and go handle the others! This madness must be stopped, what the hell is going on out there?” He reaches out with one arm and tries to shove Mina away, thoughts all confused and jumbled in his mind. No one else is directly attacking Twig, so at least he feels a little better about that…
Shove to Mina to push her back as he continues to focus on his wall of water : (Athletics) : 0 (🤣)

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Standing side by side with Rixian, watching as he incinerates a number of plant dogs. 'This dude got some power, worth sharing tricks of the trade with this one'Rowarin thinks for a moment. Not a moment too soon though one of these nefarious dog-like creatures charges at Rowarin, attempting to slash at him. Years of training prepares for such an attack however and he is able to deftly block the attack.
He notices however fast they are destroying these dogs, more keep spawning to fill their place. "Hey everyone, we need to stop the source here as these keep coming back!"
With that, Rowarin raises his hands, seeing that fire is seemingly helping here, and gestures forth Scorching Ray!
Ray 1 > Plant dog 3 To hit: 22 Damage: 8fire damage + 3 radiant damage
Ray 2 > New plant dog 1 To hit: 20 Damage: 10fire damage
Ray 3 > New plant dog 2 To hit: 14 Damage: 4fire damage
After the attack, any plant dogs within 10 feet of Rowarin take 3 radiant damage.
Plant dog 1 yelps as Mizu's ray of frost freezes several of the the vines making up it's front left leg, turning it's attention to the fighter, it tries to dodge the oncoming spray of acid only to have it's frozen limb completely snap off. The acid lands on it's face eating through the rose petals that make up it's head.
As Mina and Kullogal continue their slapping contest after the triton expertly dodges the flying dog, Twig turns to face Mina. "Fighting is futile." She giggles.
Meanwhile, Rowarin states his agreement with Mizu on attacking the source while simultaneously launching a large attack. Plant dog 3, who is closest to the wizard sees it coming and quickly jumps out of the way. Three legged plant dog 1 simply embraces it's fate bowing it's melting head as the flames quickly turn it to dust. Plant dog 2 tries and fails to dodge, only to be set ablaze anyway. It's not dead yet, but it looks very hurt.
Another bulge forms in the mass of vines birthing a replacement for plant dog 1.
(Oof, Rixi got critted by that tail attack, which he still needs to make a con save against.)
(Plant dog 2 is currently between Leeta and Rowarin. The other three are between Rixian, Rowarin and the wall.)
Mina gives a glower to Twig, but continues to concentrate on waking Kulogall up. She tries two more times to smack him out of it AND STILL MISSES!! (Attacks 12 and 11)
She finally yells at him, "Snap out of it!! Twig is the bad guy, she keeps producing these plant dogs that are trying to kill us!"
That tail strike... that was the last straw for the paladin as he suddenly heats up and loses all sense of morality; His tears are now replaced with pupiless eyes that glow brightly with nothing but anger and pain. Even as Rowarin manages , it seems like... he envisions that he almost doesn't realise he isn't there, that no one else was here. It's as if he was alone... The voices of even his closest ones, gone. There wasn't anything he could pick up as his entire body ignites and magma pools erupt underneath his feet. At least...
She finally yells at him, "Snap out of it!! Twig is the bad guy, she keeps producing these plant dogs that are trying to kill us!"
Though this wasn't directed at him, Rixi gasps as he still manages to pick up what Mina yelled out as he turns to the water wall that's shielding Twig. Using the last of his intellect before it goes down the drain, he suddenly Engulfs himself in flames and vanishes... before reappearing on the other side of the plant dogs... and directly next to the wall, before violently slashing with both ends of his weapon.

"They keep regenerating from the vines," he says quickly.
Round 3:
Standing side by side with Rixian, watching as he incinerates a number of plant dogs. 'This dude got some power, worth sharing tricks of the trade with this one' Rowarin thinks for a moment.
Ray 1 > Plant dog 3
To hit: 22
Damage: 8 fire damage + 3 radiant damage
Ray 2 > New plant dog 1
To hit: 20
Damage: 10 fire damage
Ray 3 > New plant dog 2
To hit: 14
Damage: 4 fire damage
After the attack, any plant dogs within 10 feet of Rowarin take 3 radiant damage.
Leeta
Mizu
Rowarin
Mina
Rixian
Kullogal
Plant dog 1
Plant dog 2
Plant dog 3
Plant dog 4
(Mina is up! Followed by Rixian and Kullogal!)
Round 3
Mina gives a glower to Twig, but continues to concentrate on waking Kulogall up. She tries two more times to smack him out of it AND STILL MISSES!! (Attacks 12 and 11)
She finally yells at him, "Snap out of it!! Twig is the bad guy, she keeps producing these plant dogs that are trying to kill us!"
Rixi's CON Save: 14
That tail strike... that was the last straw for the paladin as he suddenly heats up and loses all sense of morality; His tears are now replaced with pupiless eyes that glow brightly with nothing but anger and pain. Even as Rowarin manages , it seems like... he envisions that he almost doesn't realise he isn't there, that no one else was here. It's as if he was alone... The voices of even his closest ones, gone. There wasn't anything he could pick up as his entire body ignites and magma pools erupt underneath his feet. At least...
