"Thaco would go straight to the Misters after ensuring you are removed" 

"Let's go start with Dirlagraun then," Korba says, adding, "we can always come back to Palasha later."

"Yeah, let's go with Dirlagraun," Dravos agrees. "I'm not sure what a displacer beast is, but if it is anything like a shinorian, then Dirlagraun will be a good ally to have."

“Let’s go then to Dirlagraun!” Revelry echoes the others

Outside the lost property wagon is a large feline creature with midnight-blue fur. It has a pair of tentacles extending from its shoulders and wears fake butterfly wings. Hanging from its collar is a small wooden keg. The creature roughhouses with two young boys. One boy squeals, “Again, Dirla, again!” while the other hangs onto the creature’s neck.

“Looks like you two are having fun!” Moneo says to the kids, adding playfully, knowing full well that the creature isn’t a threat, “Are you sure he isn’t dangerous though? He’s awfully big…”

"Uhhh... We hear your the one to talk to about missing things? We also hear there's been more going missing then simple trinkets and voices, ya see?"Looking at the kids, in an untrusting manner, though Barreknar tells himself it to protect the kids that he shouldn't say too much in front of them.

"Yes. Some things go missing and never come back." she looks like she is going to say more when one of the kids picks up a small metal ball from the wagon. She immediately whips out a tentacle to snatch it back in what looks to be anger. The boy runs off frightened and the displacer beast looks... Sad? Worried? Guilty?

"Please go find Viro for me. I can't leave Allowin by himself. Then we can talk"

“Oh my god you look so cool!” Exclaims Revelry at Dirlagraun, he is still easily amused.

”I’ll help you look for this kid!” he said and started looking around.

""Uhhh...We can follow the boy. Can't belive I would say this, but wouldn't it make more sense that we stay here with the other child while you retrieve the boy? Clearly he knows you and are comfortable with you. Not sure how we would look trying to catch him... Plus aren't you the master of finding what is lost." Realizing this wasn't the way to prove their trustworthiness to the creature, but Barreknar was thinking it was in the best interest of the child. He had searched for missing kids before and found he came across as potential kidnapper more then helper for those simply got lost. Kidnapped victims have a clearer view of who to be afraid of but simply missing, well in Barreknar's experience, it's harder to tell.

Moneo looks around quickly ((perception 17)), but then looks to his large companion and nods saying, “Actually he has a point. We could watch this little one. You surly know your way around the park better than we.” Persuasion 9

"I would, but I can't leave the wagon unattended by at least one staff member. I'm not the master of finding lost things, just of looking after them until collected. Or watching children while parents are busy, like these kids mother is getting food for them. But I didn't do the best job this time"

Moneo, you have a pretty good idea where the kid went. You think given 10 minutes you can return with him. 

"Uhhh OK, that make sense we will be back shortly. We will bring Veto back save and sound!" Barreknar thinks for a sec and sets his morning star by Dirlagraun, leaning on a post, behind some other stuff about. "Do you mind watching this? I don't want to scare the little one. Also best to keep it away from this energetic one as well." Barreknar will follow Moneo.

Moneo nods and says, "Good point... anyway, I think I saw him head off this way. Bar, let's go!" He then dashes off to find the kid, glad that his orc friend left his weapon behind, as he's intimidating enough without it.

After a short search, you find the child, clearly distracted from his fear as he is eyeing up a candy stall. He follows you back without resistance, going back to playing with the other boy.

Dirlagraun is relived. "Many moons ago, my cub went missing from the carnival without a trace. That little mirror ball is their only possession I have still which is why I was so aggressive. Thank you for making sure another child didn't go missing."

“I’m sorry to hear about your cub…” Moneo says, looking at the boys playing, adding, “I’m sure he loved batting that little ball around.” He then asks, “Did he disappear when the carnival was traveling between locations? We actually saw someone almost disappear into a mirror not long ago. This place might not be quite as safe as it seems…”

"He disappeared while we were open. Somehow no one saw him vanish." She leans in close and says in a hushed voice "I have noticed that Mister Light and Mister Witch have both been a bit more on edge recently. I think they know something is wrong but they can't admit it or the carnival would be over." She moves away and says, mostly directed at Barreknar "You mentioned me being the one to speak to about missing things. Have you lost something?"

Dravos steps forward, "Yes, I believe we are in need of your help. We were told you could provide us with some assistance."

"Assistance with what? You helped me so I will try and help you."

“As you said, it seems as though something is strange happening here…” Moneo says. “We talked with the bugbear earlier who said the Misters might be willing to help if we could get a bit of…er… leverage on them. He suggested we attempt to get their pocket watch. Though how we could do that is not clear. It’s always in their pocket of course.”
