[[ OOC: Saving the other spell slots, for now, since Cal is a paladin so he can heal himself if he thinks he needs and Zander a warrior so he can use Second Wind if he wishes to heal himself a little more. ]]
"Certainly!" replies an exuberant Duwamilly, who almost no longer bears traces of the violent clash "As I had already advised before, it is the best thing to do... Lord Akkron is the best hope of salvation both for us and for Fox and his crew. Let's go, kids!"
The good humor of Garl Glittergold does much to restore Delvindra's spirits, though the dark circles under her eyes remain and she seems...older...as if the encounter has drained some of the life out of her.
With a weak smile, she thanks Duwamilly and then sets off with the others for the Shaded Isle...
And so our heroes continue to boldly flee, leaving Captain Fox and his crew to an uncertain (but probably not pleasant) fate... hopefully an unusually helpful lich will be able to save them before Firion decides to destroy them.
You rush across the water at a break-neck speed, and before you know it you are once again on those familiar gloomy shores. All available hands are still busy with reconstruction. You do not see the Lord of the Shaded Isle himself, though. You can guess he is probably either repairing his fortress or making some kind of preparations to contain the terrifyingly powerful cursed object that you now have in your possession.

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Duwamilly tries looking for a familiar face - such as Elmar Erickson, the mayor, or Bridgette, the Half-Orc warlock of Matic - and asking them about Lord Akkron.
Not being able to communicate very well in her cloudy form, the red-haired half-elf frantically tries to wave to the others to continue to the fortress with the box before doing anything else as Firion and his minions might still attack at any moment.
Well, if Duwamilly finds Elmar or Bridgette, she reverts to normal to ask them for information on where Lord Akkron should be - but if she sees no familiar faces, she will follow the others in cloud form directly to the fortress, hoping to find the benevolent lich there.
Having made their decision, the party continues straight towards Lord Akkron's fortress... which, unsurprisingly, looks like it has just been through a war (probably because it has just been through a war). But, interestingly, it appears that there is only a small security detail here rather than a busy construction crew trying to restore it to its gloomy glory. It seems that most of both the Shaded Isle's and the Baron's resources have been put to work rebuilding the town rather than the tomb.
As you approach the fortress, Bridgette emerges to meet you. She looks like she's doing a lot better than she was when you last saw her. She smiles, though that smile is tinged with pain. Considering what she has been through, it's really no wonder.
"Come on in!" she says, beckoning to you. "My Master has been working tirelessly since we drove back the Cult of the Dragon preparing... um... something. Not quite sure what it is, but hopefully it will do whatever it needs to."

Duwamilly hurries to revert to material form in front of the half-orc she-warlock and smiles: "Excellent, Bridgette, honey! Then take us to him immediately, because, you see, unfortunately that scamp Firion is still making trouble..." she sighs "He took Captain Fox's ship as hostage - the captain who repeatedly brought us here. He placed the captain and crew under a sort of charm that we were unable to break - they wanted to take us to a fake Shaded Isle, an illusory copy of this one, probably to get hold of you know what".
"Since we couldn't break the charm," the ex-preceptor tells, waving her wand impatiently "we had to abandon Fox and the others to run here - but it would be nice to be able to do something for them too, now".
"We should take care of the box first..."The red-haired half-elf says firmly after reverting to solid form. "...there is much more at stake here than the captain and his crew, but once we are finished with our business here I will return and see what I can do to save them all." Yasmina continues, stepping inside. "Now quickly, take us to your master, we must assume Firion knows we are here and he could attack at any moment."
Both Lord Amir and the summoned Al-Asfeh keeps a vigilant lookout for threats but are ready to follow along to the lich.
Bridgette ushers you all in, not wasting time when the situation is obviously so dire.
The half-orc leads you down a long winding staircase into what looks like it's probably another area of the catacombs that you have all become painfully familiar with by now. However, this location is at least clean and well-kept. The lich is reading some standing with his back to you, reading through some kind of arcane tome when you enter the chamber. He turns to look at you. Notably, he does look like he's in much better condition than he was when you last saw him. Of course, he's still a mostly-skeletal corpse, but at least his bones look solid again rather than half-dissolved from draconic acid.
Have you completed your task? he asks urgently. I have spent the past night preparing a place for the item that your efforts have created... and it would probably be best to dispose of it there before there is any chance for something else to happen.
He sounds quite wary... and perhaps even a bit unsure of himself. It seems that, even for one of such vast power and knowledge, even he isn't entirely sure what you all are dealing with. But he asks you to show him the VCT anyway.

The red-haired half-elf follows along down into the catacombs, perhaps for the last time, her uneasiness with the place and their host has clearly lessened though since her first visit here, watching it almost as a safe haven for her even with the fierce battles fought down here just recently.
"I believe we have Lord Akkron..."Yasmina says grimly, motioning to Milly and the box she is carrying. "...unfortunately Firion and his minions might be in pursuit of us so I humbly suggest we make some haste to end this."

Duwamilly tries looking for a familiar face - such as Elmar Erickson, the mayor, or Bridgette, the Half-Orc warlock of Matic - and asking them about Lord Akkron.
Delvindra heads directly to the temple, recalling that it was the last place that she'd seen Bridgette and hoping to find her there.
Not being able to communicate very well in her cloudy form, the red-haired half-elf frantically tries to wave to the others to continue to the fortress with the box before doing anything else as Firion and his minions might still attack at any moment.
Cal will stay in the misty form
Well, if Duwamilly finds Elmar or Bridgette, she reverts to normal to ask them for information on where Lord Akkron should be - but if she sees no familiar faces, she will follow the others in cloud form directly to the fortress, hoping to find the benevolent lich there.
Seeing Duwamilly turn back towards the others, Delvindra also rejoins the group and continues on to the fortress.

Delvindra solidifies next to Yasmina and Duwamilly. Placing a firm hand on the Gnome's back, she begins to gently push her forward.
"Mina's right. You can fill Bridgette in on the way."
