Alright, sounds good! So, everyone, Cal comes to see you in your respective locations, whether meeting you as he came in the door or going to knock on your doors to give his apology and his gift. I'll go ahead and let you guys RP a bit :)

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Cal to say to each member, "Here is a small gift as an apology for almost dying and not telling you I left. I believe it is time for us to have a little... team meeting and talk in detail about our curse." He is still bloody when talking to everyone.
"Eeey, no problem man. As long as you didn't die, what's past is past. If you think we should talk, go get the others. I'll meet everyone down at the pool. I feel like swimming!"
Just gonna assume there's a pool, as Charlies rich and has a massive mansion. If there's no pool, you'll find me swimming in a massive fountain (which Godrick thinks is a pool, cuz he's kinda stupid XD)
While perhaps not quite as cheerful as Delvindra as they return to the mansion, Yasmina still seems quite pleased with the day so far as she comes walking by the tiefling's side.
As Cal approches them and hands them each a little carved animal Yasmina's eyes narrow, seeing the telltale blood on the bald warrior. "Disappearance? You just ignored me there on the street. But yes, try to gather up the others, we have some serious talking to do together before we board that ship."She says with a quite stern voice. "And perhaps clean yourself up too."
"Come in!" Duwamilly says, amazed but curious, when someone knocks on her door.
It's Cal! And the first thing the ex-Preceptor notices is the massive hand of the gentle giant who offers her... a little carved animal! A... A deer! Yes, she recognizes him! It has been carved with enough detail to leave no doubt in those who, like her, know the animal (and its allegorical meanings)! This animal represents creativity. It is considered (probably without too much scientific basis - but that's another story) witty, cheerful and inspired, with a great ability to make others laugh.
"For me?" the gnome cleric seems incredulous and on the verge of emotion as she slowly stretches out the delicate fingers of her small hand to take the gift "It's beautiful... Who knows how much it cost... You shouldn't have bothered like that... I'll always keep it with me me! Thanks, Cal, honey!"
Raising her grateful brown eyes to the imposing warrior, Duwamilly finally realizes that... "But... are you hurt, darling?! You kids..." she sighs good-naturedly "always playing rambunctious games... Wait, let's fix this right away..."
After a short prayer to Garl Glittergold, the gnome cleric extends her other hand, the one in which she doesn't already have the deer, touches Cal... and his wounds close, while a feeling of well-being (inexplicably mixed with amusement) arises and spreads throughout all his body, radiating from her fingers emanating sacred influence.
(OOC: If necessary, Duwamilly repeats the process until Cal is fully healed - she is able to heal 1d8 + 3 HP / slot ... and she has 3 slots available ... I imagine she can heal him completely)
"That's better!" the ex-Preceptor examines the big warrior, satisfied, noticing that he no longer shows signs of physical conflict on her body "Right, honey? And now, of course, I'll follow you! If we have to talk, let's talk! I like to talk, you know?"
So Duwamilly also joins the other party members, curious to hear what they want to talk about.

“You tried to talk to me on the street? When? I don’t remember hearing or seeing anyone from the group except for in the morning.” Cal is being 100% serious, and he has a level of concern. “I believe that we need to chat immediately and once we do, everything will make sense.”
After checking that it's okay with Herbert, Delvindra ushers the others into Sir Charle's well appointed study. The space isn't really intended for this many people but it offers a degree of privacy that other places in the mansion do not. Since there isn't enough chairs for everyone, Delvindra choses a spot to stand near the fireplace...after she locks the door behind her.
"Okay,"she says, looking around at the others, "who'd like to go first?"
"Eeey, no problem man. As long as you didn't die, what's past is past. If you think we should talk, go get the others. I'll meet everyone down at the pool. I feel like swimming!"

Oh, I kinda already set a scene, but we can do either.
"Godrick said he was waiting for us at the pool..." Duwamilly replies "Why don't we all join him directly there? At least, it will also be easier to see him... even when he becomes invisible, we can see the void in the water where he is".
Refractory to the lightness that a discussion in the swimming pool would have introduced, some members of the party, much to Duamilly's disappointment, seem to prefer Charlie's comfortable and elegant (but more banal) study.
'These kids should really learn to take things a little less seriously...' thinks the ex-Preceptor, but still she goes to retrieve Godrick, informing him that the others have preferred a different location for the meeting, and accompanies him (if he follows her) to join them.
The dragonborn exits the water (turning back to visibility). A steady stream of steam starts pouring out of his snout, as his body warms up, evaporating the water hidden in the cracks of his scales.
"Come in!" Duwamilly says, amazed but curious, when someone knocks on her door.

So Duwamilly also joins the other party members, curious to hear what they want to talk about.
Just saw this! kinda liked the roleplay of what carved animal we got.
Godrick will have gotten a snowfox (painted white), representing mischief, trickery, but also the snowy dullness that comes with a lack of intelligence.
Cal looks slightly relieved now that he has gotten everyone wrangled together, “I am willing to go first, you need to know what danger you maybe bringing with you if I am allowed to stay in this group. The weapon I hold was the same weapon that killed my family. When I can home from my guard duty, there was a crazed man holding it covered in my wife’s and daughter’s blood,” Cal begins to cry as he remembers this horrible scene, “I was to late to save them, but I was able to exact my revenge, when the man ran at me I was able to take the weapon from him and use it to kill him. I thought it was over but then I started to hear their screams, Dot and Daisy crying out for mercy as this Rod took their lives. I soon realized it was not the man who was crazed but the weapon itself.” Cal changes to a fearful face as he looks at the Rod. “This thing demands blood and the longer it goes without “feeding” the louder it makes my family’s screams in my head and the less sanity I have.” Turning to Yasmina, “That is probably why I didn’t hear you calling to me on the streets. Over the years I have been able to manage feeding it with evil doers, those who murder for fun or cause great pain, I have never taken the live of the innocent. But the curse has gotten stronger as of late, and the times between the “feedings” are becoming shorter. If we do find ourselves in a fight I will need to at least draw blood or it won’t be happy with me.” Cal takes a deep breath and with torment, “If I let this thing go into the world there will be great suffering again, and truly I don’t know if I can even let go of it while I am still soul bound to it. I beg of you please help me lift this curse so I can live in peace once again.”
Cal lifts his hand and there is ring of mind shielding on his finger, “It was gift from the temple. It helps a little but it is only temporary fix. Thank you so much for offering”
Standing by Delvindra as the others arrive in the study, the red-haired half-elf seem tense, but as Cal explains about his curse and his horrible fate she softens and watches him with compassion. She had no one she would call family in her life and she could not even imagine the pain the bald warrior had. She nods as she realizes why the warrior had not reacted to her words but the worry is still there. There was nothing in what the man had just said that suggested this would not happen soon again, him disappearing to feed his cursed rod.
Yasmina seems not surprised as Delvindra tells the others about her curse. The voices, the half-elf wanted her to be safe from them, she wanted her to keep the ring that protected her, but she didn't want to meddle again so she watches as the tiefling selflessly offers her ring to Cal, seeming relieved as it ends up back on her finger.
The red-haired half-elf then steps closer to the others, looking at them all in turn to see if they were all present in mind too, particularly the part time invisible gold dragonborn. "My curse? Well suffice to say you will not notice it in any other way than me being really serious about ridding myself of it before it's too late."She says, pausing briefly before continuing. "The way I see it we all have curses we want to rid ourselves of, and to do that we need to journey to a haunted island to serve a lich while being hunted by an evil archmage that might turn up and kill us all in any moment. There is nothing in this that is the least amusing to me, in fact I wouldn't even think about doing any of this unless my life depended on it." She pauses again, hoping that the gravity of her words has reached everyone in the study, then waiting for someone else to continue.
"I fully agree. I can not hope to live like this much longer, and if I am not successful in my quest..." Cal stands up straight and with a firm face. "I want one of you to put me down and bury this Rod with me until you find a way to destroy it." Now looking at Delvindra, "What would push someone who seems to have the whole life ahead of them to risk it with our lot?"

(Sorry, forgot about that.)
"Where's Godrick? Milly, would you go get him, please? It seems like you're the only one he listens to."

The dragonborn exits the water (turning back to visibility). A steady stream of steam starts pouring out of his snout, as his body warms up, evaporating the water hidden in the cracks of his scales.
"K. I'm ready!"

Delvindra goes to Cal and places her left hand on the center of his back, stroking it in a gentle, soothing manner.
"I can't imagine how terrible that must be for you. I...I hear voices too."
She holds up her right hand, the one with the missing ring finger and the blackened iron signet ring.
"Ever since I was given my mother's ring."
Her eyes flash with sudden realization and she pulls the Ring of Mind Shielding from her left hand and holds it out to Cal.
"Try this...maybe it will help."
Cal lifts his hand and there is ring of mind shielding on his finger, “It was gift from the temple. It helps a little but it is only temporary fix. Thank you so much for offering”
Delvindra nods to Cal and slides the ring back on her finger. A slight, subtle tension seems to seep out of her shoulders as she does so.
