Jodie sits wide-eyed and tries to take everything in. The idea of hell hounds pursuing them makes her shift anxiously. "No time like the present to get the Hell out of here before it comes to us."
Jodie slyly pulls out the charlatan's die and rolls it over her fingers. Curious she whispers.
- I agree with Jodie - Rhaenys says - If we were on our own I wouldn't mind that much, but with Lady Elora around, I believe it's best to reach the city as soon as possible. Also, we can relay the person we are going to meet what we have seen. Pretty sure he'll be able to give us more info on that.
The sorcerer approaches Hewelathan once he's finished meditating and asks:
- You okay there? You seemed a little tense a while ago. I guess I am too, but I keep trying to stay positive, thinking for example that but two days ago I was alone in a quest that didn't seem to have any solution, and now I'm with you all guys and we have leads to follow. I... well... I just thought saying this aloud can help you too.
"This sword is going to be the death of me..." he whispers in his own voice.
Hewelathan maybe doesn't understand Flinn's split "personalities," but his sharp ears hear the sotto voce comment. He says, "Or the death of your companions. I admire your bravery, but don't let it make you foolhardy."
"Do not call him that... " begs Flinn but it is seems to late for his voice change again "It is not foolhardy to eradicate and pursue evil whenever it arises young one!" Flinn makes an apologetic gesture to Hewelathan.

"Yes!" adds Flinn abruptly and continues more calmly " You hear that? We must make sure the elven Lady reaches a safe port... ok?" he waits an answer but none comes and he sighs and relax, seems that his sword is satisfied by that choice.
It will take the party about 5 hours to reach the city from here. Is there anywhere else you want to do before continuing? And would you like to do anything when you reach the city?

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

I... well... I just thought saying this aloud can help you too.
"Thank you," Hewelathan says, his face relaxing into a smile. He scans the tree line as he says, "This hell hound worries me. It seems that there are mortal dangers both before us and behind us, and it makes me frightened. It would be a blessing to see the blue sky above us! Traveling again under clouds and rain just makes the danger feel more oppressive." He glances at the cloud-covered sky and shakes his head. "It was unnerving to find the agents of our Enemy in the wilderness yesterday on an uncharted shortcut. But maybe stumbling upon their camp was actually a stroke of luck! It's not like they found us or surprised us while we were sleeping. And you are right, of course! Yesterday morning, I would have been facing these dangers alone. Now, we face them together!" He finally lets out a hearty laugh.
Hewelathan agrees with the others. He helps to break camp and tries to guide the group to Tormere. He'll move at regular pace so that they can watch for dangers, but he doesn't make much effort to hide their passage. With such a large group, it would be difficult to avoid leaving a trail, and after what Tytus said, their safest option is probably simply getting to Tormere as soon as they can.
Normally, Hewelathan appearance ranges from scruffy to disheveled. The large, outlandish belt doesn't help! But today, with his new, dark cloak and the golden circlet on his dark hair, its clear gemstone resting on his forehead, Hewelathan looks more like an elf than usual.
It will take the party about 5 hours to reach the city from here. Is there anywhere else you want to do before continuing? And would you like to do anything when you reach the city?
If the day is uneventful, they can talk while they travel.
Didn't Lady Elora say that she could offer them lodging in Tormere while they waited for their ship to leave?
Last night, Hewelathan had asked about help finding a captain who would take them to the Shaded Isle. Once she has had a chance to think about it, does Lady Elora think that she knows anyone who could take them there?
If he does not detect anything suspicious or evasive in what she shares (Insight16), just before it's time to wake everyone up, Hewelathan shares this with her: "My companions and I are on our own quest of sorts. Fate seems to have brought us together, but powerful forces are already arrayed against us...powerful enough to defy the priests of Ilmater in their own temple! We are afraid, and desperate need now drives us to seek advice in mysterious and arcane matters. The priests provided us what help they could, but even they could not do much. On the advice of the High Priest of Ilmater, we hope to travel next to the Shaded Isle to ask advice from dark and dangerous powers there. Lady Elora, do you know any captain brave enough to sail near to such a place?"
In the morning Korba wakes, and as always puts his shaded lenses over his eyes and then carefully packs his gear, strapping his sword to his back. Looking to the dark sky he replies to Hew, saying, "I'm still not used to the blue skies, this weather suits me fine."As they walk he listens closely to the lady's response regarding sailing to the Shaded Isle, but otherwise marches in silence.
(Jodie might want to take a couple of the scimitars from the bandits' camp so that she has more "used equipment" to barter for a new bow. Maybe even a longbow?)
Tytus would like to eat at the tavern in town, and while at it, chat to locals about some local lore about that shaded isle. He would also like to probe some information on weird sightings to learn if there were maybe sightings of those shadow wolves in this parts. (rolled investigation for that if you would need a roll - 7+3=10)
Tytus would also like to buy ball bearings.
when breaking camp, Tytus opens his chest and takes out flask of holy water, to attach it at his belt, so he can grab it quickly in case of fiendish wolves attack.

Rhaenys doesn't need to buy anything, so instead of that he's going to pay attention to whatever interesting piece of information or gossip he can catch wind of. Old habits of a former thief don't go away that easily. So he'll wander around the market and a couple of inns (different from the one they'll be staying in) and just listen to people talking. He'll even pay attention to the streets walls, who can be sometimes covered with signs of interest, or even little messages with juicy gossips.

Lady Elora, do you know any captain brave enough to sail near to such a place?"
Yes, she did say that she would be willing to provide you all with lodging while you look for passage to the Shaded Isle.
The elf nearly stops in her tracks when Hewelathan asks about passage to the Shaded Isle.
"The Shaded Isle?" she echoes. "I... have heard of it... if... if the High Priest of the Ilmatari has sent you there, it must be for a good reason... but finding one willing to take you to the island will be difficult. My family does have some connections, though, and I can send messengers out to any who might have the ability and inclination. It shouldn't take more than two days to find a captain... but his or her services will likely be costly."
The party reaches the city without further issue, and in no time you find yourselves at Lady Elora's family mansion:
"If any of you need anything, please, feel free to ask one of the servants," she tells you all with a smile. "I will start sending out messengers straight away to find a captain willing to take you safely to your destination. It shouldn't take long to find a willing captain. A day, two at most. In the meantime, please, make yourselves at home! Sir Barnabas can show you to the guest rooms."
Tytus and Rhaenys:
You don't learn much that you didn't already know about the Shaded Isle; it's a scorched rock of an island overrun by undead spirits and ruled by a powerful lich ruler known simply as The Broken Lord of the Shaded Isle (apparently, his actual name is not widely known; perhaps he prefers it that way). Most people don't care to get close enough to that shore to learn anything else.
- Listen people i myself am broke at the moment, spend my remaining money to get to the temple, and some went for needed supplies. Since lady Elora, who was so kind to provide for us for now, said it might take about 2 days to find someone and it may be costly, maybe we should try to find some gig on the side to gain some coins. I mean we just got some fighting experience and i have heard there is good coin in a sellsword/adventuring bussines. What do you think about that? Maybe we should ask around the taverns, or maybe at some kind of city hall to get some official commission.

Rhaenys walks Lady Elora's mansion in awe. He imagined they would be staying in an inn, not in her mansion! This is definitely the best place the changeling's ever stayed and he intends to make the most of it. So as soon as he is able to, he'll take a loooong and nice warm bath, and will humbly ask for her clothes to be washed along with some spare clothes to use in the meantime. The servant in charge of this gives the sorcerer a weird look, given the fact that he looks like a male but the clothes he's handed clearly belong to a woman. "It's a long story", is all Rhaenys says with a nervous smile. The clothes he's handed are black, and more masculine, which is probably best as they can fit any gender pretty good.
Gathering with the rest, he answers Tytus:
- That's a good idea. I don't like being idle anyway. But before looking for work outside this place, why don't we ask Elora or Barnabas first? Perhaps they have things we can assist them with?
"Who could deny us passage? Our quest is of the uttmost importance, just and holy!"
"Unfortunately "Flinn struggles to recover control of himself "real life is not always so straight forward and it is better for most of the people not know about all the horrifying things that follow us... or the panic would spread like a wildfire. Discretion is our best option here... discretion and honest work..."again is hard to say if Flinn is speaking to them or tryng to convice his sword of the plan.

Hewlathan says, "Thank you, my lady. As I said before, we would not go but for our desperate need of information on mysterious and arcane matters. We do not have much money, but we're a resourceful group. I'm sure that we could reach some sort of arrangement."
The party reaches the city without further issue, and in no time you find yourselves at Lady Elora's family mansion:
Hewelathan is surprised by the palatial mansion. He has had some dealings with wealthy and powerful elves and dwarves and humans, but that was mostly out in the wild. He has never had occasion to stay at such a mansion. He notes the weather on the day that they arrive and begins counting the hours until they leave. But maybe that's not so unusual among this group after having seen the scorched paw marks of the wolf-fiend.
Once the group has a chance to talk alone, Hewelathan shares what he heard from Lady Elora about Matic Akkron. He concludes by saying, "It would seem that it is not widely known that the Shaded Isle is the island of Mouver from the legend and that The Broken Lord who rules it is perhaps Matic Akkron himself, companion of Lady Elora's ancestor and one of the seven heroes who defeated the Dragon Lord Sserrah Nightbane. And it is perhaps best that we not share that information. But maybe we could use this to our advantage? We could spend the next day or two trying to learn anything more about the legend of those seven heroes and about the old Island of Mouver."
(Has Hewelathan ever heard anything about the Island of Mouver? History20)
- That's a good idea. I don't like being idle anyway. But before looking for work outside this place, why don't we ask Elora or Barnabas first? Perhaps they have things we can assist them with?
Hewelathan likes this idea. "I don't know whether we could make much coin in such a short time," he says. "But after we have a chance to rest here tonight, I think that it would be a good idea to get out of the city. Since Hewelathan has some experience with boats and sailing vessels, he volunteers to check whether anyone down by the docks has a job (other than piracy!) where they could earn some coin in a day or two of work. Nothing long term.
Korba is somewhat at ease in the palace, though he'd never been a guest. He also slips into some draw mannerisms and is perhaps less polite to the servants than the others, seeing them as below himself. Listening to the others he nods in agreement and says, "We will need some way to trade for passage. If that is not coin, we will have to work directly. But if we can arrange coin in the next couple of days while a captain is found, all the better."
