Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
Gorash tries to finish off this cultist. He casts a spell, and then he moves to a spot where he'll have as much cover (full cover?) from wherever he expects Zolgu and the other two cultists to appear.
Action: Freezing Ray (120 ft) at the cultist: 19, Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. (cold) Movement: Up to 30 ft. to find cover from Zolgu and the other cultists.

Trying again again. (I forgot to fix the macro to remove the check for whether the attack roll is critical.)
Gorash's spell is more than enough... the final cultist falls to the ground, an icy patch on his chest where the half-orc's spell hit him.
(OOC: Just to double check...are we carrying our initiative order into the next fight? That is, is it still Korba and Hewelathan's turn? And once we get to "round 3," we expect that Zolgu will show up?
Edited to add...
How far away is the spot where we'll first see Zolgu and the two cultists? The cult leader and other cultists came from Cynurrarth, but we waited for them to walk into our ambush. I doubt that we'll be able to do that with Zolgu and the other two, but I'm not sure whether they'll be coming around a curve in the tunnel 60 ft. from our current position or whether we'll first see them when they get past those bookshelves 200 ft. away. If we're trying to ready actions, I'm just trying to figure out how we'll need to reposition to be in range for those readied actions.)
Well... you WOULD be able to see them, if Zolgu hadn't cast invisibility on himself while he was approaching...
(OOC: Heh. Yeah, that's actually what I was expecting. I happened to be thinking about how to make use of our Invisibility spells for this next fight right when you mentioned Zolgu casting "buffs.")
You also may notice a cold blue light with no apparent source reflecting off the armor of the two cultists... giving you a hint what other spell he may have used the two rounds of prep time to cast.

(OOC: I'm going to break up Korba's turn into two posts because it depends on a response from Jodie.)
Seeing the final cultist fall, Korba turns back toward the direction the cultists came and where Jodie is, holds up the pouch with the Dust of Corrosion and asks in Elvish, "You or me?" He points with his sword toward the direction where she saw Cynurrarth chained up earlier.
Jodie responds to Korba, "Perhaps I should go. I can become invisible and be unseen. Once Cynurrarth is free, I will reengage with my bow if you can keep Zolgu distracted... And it would be nice to have the dragon indebted to me."
Ruby casts mirror image and now four angry kobold arcanists are ready to rumble. Jodie take the pouch from Korba and cast invisibility on herself and moves away from the group, ready for a stealthy rescue.
(Alright. It will take Jodie approximately 2 rounds to reach Cynurrarth, since that's how long it took for Zolgu & company to reach the party, and a third round to free the dragon if nothing else gets in the way. I will need a Stealth check to get past Zolgu and the two cultists, but it's made with advantage)

Round 2: Korba
Korba nods and hands the pouch to Jodie. He calls back to the others, "Nickeline, maybe you could light them up for us?" He's hoping to for anything that gives him some advantage in this fight and hopes to finish off the death cultists quickly without exposing himself too much to Zolgu's magic. He moves forward, closer to where Cynurrarth is.
Korba moves to a spot where he expects to have 1/2 to 3/4 cover from Zolgu and

Round 2: Hewelathan
Hewelathan-bear growls in his deep, rumbling bear voice that always sounds more like growling than words at first. "Hildegard, if the cavern is tall enough: maybe you could fly Perdita over them and attack from behind so that they don't fall back to the dragon? Everyone else, scatter and attack from as far away as you can. We need to force Zolgu to try to pick us off one at a time, not as a group. I'll try to tie them up as long as I can."
The big brown bear lumbers along near the wall of the cavern, getting closer to the spot that leads to where Cynurrarth is chained up. He tries to hide near where they will appear, hoping to jump out and hit the cultists before they know he's there.
Movement: Moving with stealth, 30 ft. closer to where Cynurrarth and Zolgu are. Action: Hide - Stealth18, with bonus from PwT Free Action: Talking.
(OOC: Since Hewelathan is still concentrating on PwT and is also heading directly toward where Cynurrarth is, perhaps the aura covers Jodie at least for the first round?)
Korba also commands the elf shadow to hide and attack as soon as one of the cultists gets in range. For the shadow, it matters how brightly lit the cavern is. If it's dim lighting, the shadow hides as a bonus action and readies an attack. If not, the shadow will have to use its action to hide.
Round 2: Elf Shadow
The shadow "walks" quietly forward and then hides among the shadows of a bookcase. Not standing behind it, really. Just blending into the shadow it casts. It gets ready to attack as soon as one of the cultists or Zolgu comes within its reach.
Movement: Move 40 ft. toward where the party expects the cultists to appear. Bonus Action: (if applicable) Hide - Stealth20, or Unable to parse dice roll. if it can stay within Hewelathan's PwT Action: Hiding, if it's not dim light. Otherwise, ready an attack, trigger: the first enemy to come within reach Strength Drain Attack: 19 (or 23 if it's with advantage), Damage: 7 (necrotic). The target's STR score is also reduced by 4, falling unconscious if this reduces its Strength to 0.

Yes you can carry on in your current initiative order. Speaking of...
