Seria struggles to contemplate what this illness is. When the gnome asks her if she knows what it is she just shakes her head without saying a single word before turning back to Mrs Claus in confusion. Mind...fire? It talks?She tries to piece together. Is it like... no... I mean... this kind of sickness has been unheard of to me. You're saying that... he had been hit like got confused. Does that mean someone deliberately targeted him and not anyone else? But why him specifically? She tries to recall if it's anything familiar to her but obviously she hasn't rung any (literal) bells of her own.

Seria (Female Dragon-In-Disguise Sorcerer, Draconic Bloodline)
She nods slightly before looking at the Periapt of Health with a hopeful expression. "Stopping them from advancing further would be a start. Although curing him would be even better." She paused for a moment before letting out a soft sigh. "I want him to be okay, but if somebody did this to him then I want them to come to justice."
Miss Claus looks to Po with a faint hint of a frown. "The only other things that stand out are the two gentlemen that came to visit. It was odd but we didn't think much of it at first. But about seven hours after they left he started to exhibit signs of the illnesses."
{With a 17, Po has seen the effects of Mindfire before but at the time it had looked more like the person who had contracted it had been hit with a confusion spell. With the Shivering sickness it doesn't entirely ring a bell but he does recall a disease/illness that caused the infected to shiver uncontrollable and caused their body temperature to drop.}

"Well, Mrs Claus. Here you go. Santa can keep it as long he needs it." Regis hands the magic item over without any hesitation.
Uk will search his mind for spells or creature that can cause this affect.
Arcana:28
{With a 28, Uk recalls that Mindfire can be contracted through the spell Contagion and can be contracted by any species while Shivering Sickness can only be contracted by Humanoids and Giants. It is carried by Insect Swarms, Giant Centipedes, Giant Scorpions and Giant Wasps which are all none existent in the area.}
Regis thinks about the effects of Shivering Sickness and Mindfire. Wondering which versions it could be as if someone does this with bad intentions; the illnesses would not be ordinary.
If done by someone, then the Mindfire could be the proof someone has done this; mainly, he remembers a few types of people who could use a spell to inflict MIndfire on others. Otherwise, a customized poison with similar effects to Mindfire could be done, too. While he isn't too sure which versions of the Shivering Sickness Santa might have, other than he hopes it isn't the one where it would cause him to die after four months. Either way, both diseases are not good, especially when there are both of them simultaneously.
Medicine (Poison) Check:11
{With an 11, Regis recalls that there is a poison made with giant scorpion venom that can sometimes inflict Shivering Sickness but it's extremely rare and the last known assassin to use it died two years ago.}

"No it doesn't talk. It has made his mind feverish and it is certainly not a pleasant sight to see someone you love go through." Miss Claus paused for a moment and thought about what she'd said. "It might not have been initially aimed at him... and if that's the case then I have no clue who it was initially aimed at then."
{With a 20, while she hasn't seen either illness in person before she recalls having heard people talking about loved ones who have contracted them before. Mindfire causes the contractor's mind to become feverish and they tend to act as though they have been hit with a confusion spell, most of the time those who contract it get it through being hit with the spell Contagion. Shivering Sickness is equally as unpleasant, causing the contractor to violently shake and their body temperature to drop drastically. While Mindfire can be contracted by any species Shivering Sickness only effects Humanoids and Giants.}
Uk clears his throat, “Miss Claus and company I remember reading a book on arcane disease in the moon library and recall that Mindfire can be contracted through the spell Contagion and can be contracted by any species while Shivering Sickness can only be contracted by Humanoids and Giants. It is carried by Insect Swarms, Giant Centipedes, Giant Scorpions and Giant Wasps which are all none existent in the area. This informs me that the two gentlemen who came earlier most definitely came with nefarious intentions. If you would allow it, I can read your thoughts and recreate an illusion of what you saw.” Uk corrects his glasses as he awaits her response.
Uk removes his grimoire from his side pouch and lets go of it in mid-air but it stays afloat. He then pulls a small copper wire from his sleeve and from it, complicated rune formulas start to manifest then two smaller ones appear on the temples of Ms. Claus. Uk eyes begin to glow blue. "I am now reading your surface thoughts, please begin to think all you can about these gentlemen. If I need I will push deeper with your consent. This should cause you no pain or discomfort."
Regis remains silent. He is eager to find these two people and interrogate them for answers. A couple of poisons should make them talk; if not, he has other methods.
Oh ok. It's a spell. So the dragon girl misunderstood. But... it only hits humanoids and giants? Does that mean she cannot be affected too even as she's disguised? Strange. So, if I'm not mistaken, whatever this sickness is, it only targets those two kinds and not the others? But... why specifically those two? Unless if whoever modified it so that others beings other than them cannot be infected...? She wonders.
She overhears Uk saying that Shivering Sickness infects via Insects, Giant Centipedes, Scorpions and Wasps. But... he's right. How can there be such creatures in the cold? Unless if someone actually somehow snuck in one of them or deliberately transformed into one of the giants... She then sees him trying to read her thoughts; Almost like what she intends to do too if it wasn't for his faster thinking. Another telepath huh? She muses as she puts a hand to her chin whilst she watches like the others, but just in case, she'll

Seria (Female Dragon-In-Disguise Sorcerer, Draconic Bloodline)
Miss Claus nods slightly as she begins to think of the two gentlemen. The first one to have arrived was a tall and rather skinny Tiefling with curly shoulder length white hair, horns that were like that of a ram and his eyes were an icy blue. He was wearing a white overcoat with light blue trimming, a blue vest with snowflakes embroidered onto them, a long red scarf, white trousers and black boots with fur at the tops. The other one was an average height yet rotund man with long black hair that had streaks of blonde and red mixed throughout almost like it was made of lava and his eyes burnt like fire. He was wearing a dark colored robe with an orange cloth wrapped around his waist like a belt, black gloves that hid his hands and brown boots.
She recalls the Tiefling with the scarf had offered her husband a cup of tea while they had been talking and the robed man had been acting strangely the entire time, she could have sworn that she heard him casting a spell but she wasn't in the room in that moment.
Uk will recreate a miniature version of both gentlemen with all the detail he can muster in a minor illusion. He will sketch the info in his journal. "Do you remember what business they stated as to why they were there, also have you seen them before? Also fine company, if you have any questions I recommend asking them now."
The Tiefling had come to see if Santa would deliver a special gift to his fiancee, he had a book with him that had a sketch of the gift in question in it. The man on the other hand wanted Santa to postpone Christmas. The Tiefling visits yearly and he is normally quite chummy with Santa, the man on the other hand is a new face. The pair seem to dislike each other for some reason unknown to Miss Claus.
"Shivering sickness...insect swarms...centipedes..." repeats Po as he continues to puff on his pipe.
"The poison must have been harvested from those creatures, eh? Such creepy crawlies like the warmth and humidity, and it seems like the fellow with fiery eyes might know something about this."
Changing the subject, and itching to do more than talk, Po asks, "Can we track these fellows? Magically or otherwise?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Hopefully soon because I don't think we have enough spare time to track these two guys while trying to figure out a way to save Santa." Regis knew they are on a tight schedule as it is.
Regis starts to recall any poison that could counter the Shivering Sickness and Mindfire. He might not know how to solve many diseases, but he knows enough to use poison to fight poison as a temporary solution until the real cure comes in.
Miss Claus looks to Po for a moment before nodding slightly. "It shouldn't be that hard to find the Tiefling, he is a count from the city of Moonwall which is just north of here. It's about a half an hour away by foot. When it comes to the fiery fellow all I know about him is that he comes from the village of Drymore. Which is four hours away by foot although if you wanted to you could use the sleigh, it has the ability to teleport to every known city, town and village."
{With a 10, Regis does recall a poison that could counter the shivering sickness by raising the body temperature of those who are effected by it sadly he doesn't quite recall it's name but it's commonly used in northern areas that are not use to the warmth.}
